Hey everyone,  

I am pretty new to Centreon and  trying to set up alerts properly but I am facing issues. I have configured some notifications but they do not seem to trigger as expected. I get alerts way too late & other times, they do not fire at all. I am not sure if I missed something in the setup such as thresholds or escalation rules.  

Also, I want  to fine-tune the alerts so I do not get spammed with unnecessary notifications. Right now, it feels such as I either get too many or not enough. I want to set up alerts only for critical issues and have some kind of delay before triggering an alert for minor ones.  

While searching for solutions, I came across a Selenium Course that mentioned automated monitoring, but I am not sure how relevant it is for Centreon. Has anyone else faced this issue? Are there any best practices or hidden settings I should be aware of? Any advice or examples of how you have configured your alerts would be super helpful.

Is it only a notification issue (you don’t get the emails or get them but with delay) or the alerts are not triggered at all in Centreon ?
