hello all, 

 

UNKNOWN: Missing parameter authenticate protocol.

Avaya IP Office Web Manager, snmpv3

 

user service snmpv3 = created

any idea ??

Hello yassine,

SNMPv3 need some additionals parameters to works in Centreon

This parameters are not present with macro by default, so you have to add all this parameters in the EXTRAOPTIONS host macro

 

The parameters you need to add are these

    Thank you, i have the same error message, the issue lies with my equipment. i tested in other AVAYA and it work

      Hi, 

      In my case,

      It seems that Centreon does not read the EXTRAOPTIONS,

       

      According to @Dalfo, you need to add 

      if ($options{option_results}->{snmp_version} eq '3') {
        [...]
      }

      you can check his post about it.

      Can you tell which service template or command or plugin you are talking about?

      Ah yes the macro name is not EXTRAOPTIONS but SNMPEXTRAOPTIONS
