Centreon Infra Monitoring

Hi.I have Centreon 24.04.06.Performance graphs shows message “No data available for this period”. I have perf data in all of my services:E.gPerformance data'total_cpu_avg'=31.50%;0:80;0:90;0;100 'cpu_0'=33.00%;;;0;100 'cpu_1'=30.00%;;;0;100I tried everything I founded on all topics similar to mine with no success. Github issue: https://github.com/centreon/centreon/issues/8042 Since 24.10.8 (could also have been introduced in earlier versions) all inherited command macros are directly written on the host with an empty value when a new host is added (only on add, does not happen on update host).This also happens on new Host Templates.Problematic situations that can happen due to this bug:Imagine creating a new host based on template T1, somewhere in the template tree is a command which declares macro $_HOSTOPTIONS$. At the moment the template T1 has no value for the macro defined. The new host gets created and the macro is wrongly written on the host with an empty value. Now I set a macro value for $_HOSTOPTIONS$ on the template T1. Hello can anyone please tell me how can i manage my data? my partitions always get full and i keep increase disk space or doing log rotation etc I’ve configured log rotation for these files in /var/log/centreon-broker/ and /var/log/centreon-engine/But I don’t know how to fix the /var/lib/centreon/metrics directory, its gotten so large in few days? i have so far 144 hosts and about 3k services:I’m not sure what to do

I’m facing regular issues with using the CLAPI centreon command.Especially in terms of permissions. I face issues regarding permissions on log files or php files, sometimes it’s files created that are blocking gorgone. I was wondering if there was a clear recommendation in terms of what is required in terms of permissions for the execution of a CLAPI centreon command.Is itas root as apache (i’m running in RHEL 9) as centreon (or other centreon linked user like centreon-engine) as a custom user but with centreon as a secondary group  Would someone that faced similar issues please guide me ?Thank you so much

Hello,I’m in the process to upgrade/mirgrate from 21.04 to 24.10.Everything is “almost” working, I’m actually working on the mail notification.So I follow the doc here : https://docs.centreon.com/docs/administration/postfix/Everything is working as expected, I can sent mail using the test commandecho "Test" | mail -s "Test" user@isp.comBut on Centreon, I do not receive any notification.The Centreon server didn’t even try to sent something (no logs on my SMTP server).So something seems misconfigured on the server, I have doubt on the postfix service itself, as the status is active (exited) but on the doc it is active (running). Also, I have doubt on the command as maybe something changed during the 21.04 → 24.10 upgrade that didn’t update correctly. Error seems the same as Thanks a lot !

Hello,I would like to count how many records encounter a condition into a table, and I would like to rise an alert (warning and critical thresholds) when some values are overset.But I dont want to get only the number as output,but I also want to back a text which is a concatenation of lot of some others fields of this table.So, I think to proceed with "centreon_mssql.pl --plugin database::mssql::plugin" and "--mode='sql-string' " instead of "--mode='sql'" because I need a text output.. Bonjour,Je vous contacte, car je rencontre un problème assez bizarre, j’ai configuré un hôte et les services pour interroger un serveur Microsoft SQL (avec le pack de plugin). Les commandes sur le serveur centreon fonctionne correctement elles renvoient bien les bonnes valeurs.par contre sur l’interface web de centreon, j’ai la fameuse erreur :UNKNOWN: Cannot connect: OpenClient message: LAYER = (0) ORIGIN = (0) SEVERITY = (78) NUMBER = (44)Server , databasePourtant si je copie la commande que réalise centreon sur le shell elle fonctionne.j’ai exporté les configurations, redémarrer le serveur rien ne se passe. Auriez vous une idée d’où peut provenir le problème ou comment le corriger ? Je vous remercie par avance,Cordialement,tom 

Hello all, Using the Virt-VMWare2-ESX-Memory-Generic service, I want to be able to graph the values as a percentage.https://docs.centreon.com/pp/integrations/plugin-packs/procedures/virtualization-vmware2-esx/ By default, the plugin outputs these three performance data, but the one that interests me the most is missing.'used'=83033128960B;;;0;205563826176'overhead'=0B;;;0;'state'=0;;;0;3 To this I would add at the output of the service a performance metric which calculates and graphs the percentage. I would hope to do this with the “EXTRAOPTIONS” but I don't know how. Does anyone know if this is possible ? without having to rewrite the official script ? I need it for this case but it could be used in other contexts and plugins Thanks a lot

Hello,I have been experiencing several problems since today with version 24.10 Centreon On-Prem.My pollers can no longer communicate with my central server on port 5669.I have tried the various Centreon procedures to resolve this (restarting the centengine and gorgoned services, looking at the logs, etc.).I'm quite used to these problems in general but this time, strange behaviour is occurring.It seems that the input and output configuration of my central-module-master and central-broker-master have disappeared from the files when I display them via the CLI in SSH.I tried to see what was happening via the GUI but when I recreated and saved them, an error appeared: Could not resolve host: centreon.mysite.com for ‘https://centreon.mysite.com/centreon/api/latest/configuration/broker/1/outputs’.(Obviously, I've replaced the url in the error to show you)Same thing when I modify the input : Could not resolve host: centreon.mysite.com for ‘https://centreon.mysite.com/centreon/api/latest/confi

I migrated my centreon from a 19 version to a 24 oneFrom my 19 version, I had a poller, that I didn’t touch at all, and now, I would like to get the configuration that is on that poller and migrate it inside the new 24 one (not add a poller to it, but merge it to the new centreon)Do you know how can I do that ? 

Hello, Ive set up centreon server and two pollers, for one poller everything works fine, for the other one, the poller.json file doesnt get sent at all? ive checked in centreon central and i saw it does get generated after export but its never sent to my poller because i cant find it in the poller, therefore i cant make connection between the two, and also in the centengine.cfg file i see broker module on my poller it set to ‘centrlal-module.json” when it should be set to something else etc, im confused why the .json file isnt being sent, if i add it manually will it work? ive even checjed the mysql db on centreon central and i see it has two pollers, so I have no clue whats cuasing it, the ports needed were allowed via the firewall so i doubt they’re the issue,please help i can’t figure it out

Good evening,I’ve 2 questions about Centreon Map: 1) A container is red because one object inside (a switch) have an alarm, but is acknowledged.It is possible to ignore in map the acknowledged alarms? 2) I draw 2 crossed lines between 4 container, I try to move the text of these lines but when I click on save, they return to the center of the lines, overlapping.It’s a bug? At the moment to resolve this problem I modify the path of one line (I attach 2 image that explain this). Thanks, Regards,Andrea

Hello,i’ve an issue withe connectivity between centreon central and a remote poller with the 24.10.5 version. My central can reach the remote poller with tcp port 5556 From cental, a netstat command  we can see Fin wait, it’ seems that the client initiale a connection to the remote server but don’t have received the reponse that the connection is established.  From the remote server: we can see  a lot of established connection to the central… Normally i have other remote server, and normally there is only one connection, but not a lot as the screenshot. Architecture:CI-remote <--> FW customer ==VPN== FW IT↔ CentralWe have open all rules on each FW temporary to analyse but the connection is not permanent…. Actually, when i export config throw the Web interface, the files generated are not moved on the server remote, i’have issue Handshake Timeout the remote server id =5the central id=1 Could someone explain my which commands are running when the export is done i hope i can see err

Being the first of the month is was time for me to run my regular updates for my Centreon VMs.  This is  running AlmaLinux 8.10 Kernel 4.18.0-553.60.1.e18_10.x86_64 and Centreon Version 24.04.15 after the new update and it has broken all of my monitoring.  Execute command failed is the error that I am seeing in the status page.  I have rebooted the machine with no change.  Some googling came up with making sure SELinux was disabled.  Initially it was not, but I did change that, rebooted the system again and still getting the same error.Fortunately this is a VM and I did take a snapshot prior to updating so was able to restore functionality quickly.  Did some more research, ran the update again, but still the same result.  Anyone else run into the same issue?  Or would have any further thoughts on what I should check?

Hi,The view by host is limited to 100 objects per page: Wrong number of servicesIt leads to a wrong number of services for host, as you can see in the image below: Right number of servicesThis is utterly wrong in my opinion.Moreover, I don’t understand why the the number of objects per page is limited to such a low maximum   of 100.Is the Javascript which handles the display is so CPU intensive that displaying more objects would be too much for a descent browser?!This is Centreon Web 23.10.16
