Centreon Infra Monitoring

Hello,When calling the Centreon API endpoint:/centreon/api/latest/configuration/monitoring-servers/3/generate-and-reload I receive an HTTP 500 Internal Server Error with the following JSON response:{ "code": 500, "message": "There was a consistency error in the exported files - please use the legacy export menu to troubleshoot" } Centreon version: 24.10.8 The same operation works correctly when performed manually through the Centreon web interface. The error only happens via the API. Is this a known issue or bug? Are there any recommended solutions or workarounds to fix this?Thank you!

Je partage ma configuration et les différents points de blocages/bugs rencontrés durant la configuration de l’authentification SAML avec l’IdP Entra ID.Tout d’abord créer l’application d’entreprise sur Entra ID.Pour commencer la config : Le remote login correspond à https://login.microsoftonline.com/<ID_IdP>/saml2Le issuer URL correspond à l'entité qui émet les assertions SAML fourni par l’IdP, sous la forme ici : https://sts.windows.net/<ID_IdP>/RAS pour l’ajout du certificat (à récupérer dans l’application entreprise Entra ID) Pour “User ID Attribute” j’ai rencontré des bugs, si je ne précise pas l’URL complète (ce qui n’est pas indiqué dans la doc) il ne parvient pas à récupérer l’ “User ID Attribute” correctement.Bugs à corriger : https://github.com/centreon/centreon/issues/5166 J’ai ajouté cette ligne qui corrige ligne 76 : “requestedAuthnContext” => false,”​@Laurent l’ajouter par défaut dans les prochaines versions ? Pour vous aidez à débuger : activer le mode débu

Hi =) I just upgraded from 24.10.2 to 24.10.3 last week, and I just found a change of behavior of the CLAPI. I think I’m “stretching” the use of the CLAPI and maybe I’m not following best practices, so feel free to give me feedback on how you would do those tasks When I create a new project / new VMs in an existing project, I like to check if the host already exists via this CLAPI, to only apply my “auto_checks_conf” to newcommers and not get an error message like “This host already exists”I used to check with commands like this one : centreon -u admin -p '*****' -o HOST -a show -v "{{ Hostname }}"What I used to get as a return when there were no existing hosts : id;name;alias;address;activateWhat I have now :id;name;alias;address;activateReturn code end :Here is a more complete show of what I try to do in the end (ansible, I’d understand to not have help on this part as this is not directly related to centreon) :  - name: check si host existe shell: centreon -u admin -p '*****' -o H

Hi everybody, I’m a new user of Centreon and I’m tryping to install it on a vm via vmware ESXi. I encountered a problem , few minutes after log in the interface web of centreon I loose the connection and I have a message : ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT My vm is on I don’t really understand why I have this problem  

Hello everyone,I ask for your help...I've configured notifications to automatically open tickets (via open-ticket).To test, I set up a notification with the following command:And I also enabled the email delivery option.In the logs, I can see both notifications going through, but I only see the email command being executed.My open ticket command isn't being executed. Hello,Centreon works since the update, but sometimes I get an error. Database issue : 1If I restart the centengine service it works again for a few days/hours. I browsed the logs but I did not find any information, if someone can give me some leads I am interested.I only have one VM with everything on it.

bonjour,j’ai terminé de configuré un collecteur et serveur central dans ma société sur 2 vm hyper v. elles communiquent correctement, j’ai installé dans une autre société un collecteur sur une vm en hyper v.vu qu’ils ne sont pas du tout dans le même réseau. quelle manipulation dois je effectuer pour qu’ils puissent communiquer ensemble. les deux sociétés ont un parefeu watchguard et j’ai ouvert les ports nécessaires. d’avance merci

Hello,We are currently monitoring our Windows servers using NRPE (without SSL).In your opinion, what is the most secure and reliable way to monitor Windows systems, while still getting detailed metrics like those provided by NRPE?Would you recommend NRPE with SSL, WMI, or another method?Thank you for your feedback.

We have a BA called ba-L0, with two indicators, kpi01 and kpi02.We configure a downtime on ba-L0.An alert is created on kpi01. Is a ticket created on kpi01, or is kpi01 inherits from the downtime configured on ba-L0 ?

Hi I have had a problem with centreon updates for some time. My version is 24.10.8. The problem is in the vmware infrastructure monitoring plugin. Previously (based on the centreon_vmware.pm file) everything worked fine. After updates (from several versions within 24.10) the centreon_vmware service does not want to start. Hello,For the past few days, I've been looking into using Centreon to monitor my IT infrastructure.I installed Centreon 24.10.7 on a VM, then a few hosts and services.My Windows servers are being monitored, butI'm struggling with how to view the status of the disks in a Qnap NAS.I'm monitoring the volumes, but I haven't figured out where to tell Centreon how to check the NAS disks to be notified if they're faulty.Thank you for your help.Eric

Hello team,I have a LDAP configured with an Active Directory. It works fine but when I move a user to an other OU, they can no longer log in to Centreon.If I delete the user from Centreon and then they log in again, the authentication works.Do you have any idea what might be causing this behavior?

Hello, i’m wondering if i missconfigured a centreon. It is based at Mexico city and by so is configured on the America/Mexico_City timezone.I’m working on the version 23.10 of Centreon.This timezone is setup in the PHP configuration, in the global configuration of the instance, and configured as the timezone of the user.As i watch the graphs of my services in the resource tab, i see the data at the proper times but when i look into legacy screens or through custom views, the data is an hour late.Maybe i missed a configuration somewhere ? but it seems it’s only on that timezone. I read online that Mexico removed their summer time shift, so maybe it is related.Has anyone faced this kind of issue ?

Good morning, I want to ask how to add in Centreon (with license) a Lantronix SLC device that have 2 interfaces with 2 IP.The connection of the devices is as follows:Eth0 → Firewall 1 (active) Eth1 → Firewall 2 (standby)When Firewall 1 is active, the device is reachable via IP of Eth0 and the IP on Eth1 remain unreachable.We use SNMPv3 and Centreon enabled for active checks.When we switch traffic on Firewall 2, we reach IP of Eth1 and lost reachability of IP on Eth0.If I add both IP as single device, it’s all ok, but I would like to group the two IPs into a single object.Is it possible to do that? If yes, what is the process to do that?Thanks a lot for your support, let me know if you need more informations.
