Centreon Infra Monitoring

Hi, This is from Centreon Web 23.10.18. Has it been fixed in 23.10.21 or in a more recent branch? I wouldn’t  say it’s a bug, but a quite worrying design choice still imho.Am I the only one for whom it matters quite a bit?

Hi,I just migrated the configuration and data of my test centreon server (centos 6.7 + centreon 22.10 IT-100) to a new server Alma9+centreon 24.04. Everything went well, including the migration of the IT-100 license. Now, I will do the same with my production server, except that it has a 2500 host EPP license (which was an offline license, but recently became an online license with a token, at the request of centreon). How do I migrate this type of license? (request a temporary license?)

Nous sommes censé upgradé nos versions de production en 24.10, sauf que quand je déclare un remote correctement (déjà fait sur les ancienne version et sa fonctionné). Le central semble ne plus vouloir que j’ajoute d’hôte…Message d’erreur : Vous n'êtes pas autorisé à accéder à cette ressource (avec le compte admin de base je précise)Bug ? Quelqu’un a déjà eu le tour ?

Hello Centreon Community,I’m currently setting up Centreon to supervise my office network and would appreciate some guidance.I have installed Centreon on a virtual machine (VM) running under VMware Workstation on my PC.My network IP range is 10.206.38.10 to 10.206.38.254.  i want to supervise real machines and their actual network usage using this Centreon setup.What is the best method to scan and add all the machines in my network to Centreon?Are there specific plugins or configurations I should use for effective monitoring?Since Centreon is running in a VM, what are the best networking settings to ensure it can reach all machines in my network? (NAT, Bridged, etc.)   

Hi,I have a problem since the last Centreon update 23.10.22, I can no longer modify a service or even create new ones, because the notification period disappears as soon as I save.So when I reboot the collector, it says I have not assigned a notification period on the service. I am using AlmaLinux 9.5 and Centreon 23.10.22. In the services and service templates, when I select the notification period and confirm, the notification period field is empty again when I return to it. I am on Centreon 24.10

Hello everyone,I'm experiencing an issue with Centreon where the following error repeatedly appears in the logs:Error: Attempt to run active check on host 'FARJ-AP-ENS-38' with no check command What I’ve checked so far:The host has a Check Command assigned (base_centreon_ping).Active checks are enabled.Applied the configuration changes and restarted the centengine service.Despite these checks, the error persists, causing high resource usage and forcing me to restart the server periodically.Has anyone encountered this issue before or has any suggestions on how to fix it?Thanks in advance! Note: This log appears every minute, which is significantly impacting system performance.

Is there a way to set a service check that it delays making the status go critical or warning until it has performed all the retry checks?We are using the VMware vCenter connectors and one check that is performed is to report VMs where VMware Tools is not running. Unfortunately this does not take into account that during a VM start-up or reboot that VMware Tools is correctly not running for a short time - thankfully, the check does take into account if the VM is shut down so they don’t go critical if the VM is switched off. We have 500 VDI workstations which are regularly starting up or being rebooted, and having these all go critical is causing our dashboards to look worse than they really are. They should only be critical if the check fails, for example, 5 times in a row and not immediately.I’ve played with the various retry intervals and delays, but they just affect the notifications sent out, not the actual service status.

​Hello, after multiple struggles i have no idea what i did wrong/So i’m using Alma 9, Centreon 24.10, Mariadb 10.11 on Hyper-V.Selinux is disabled, the local firewal disableed too.It’s a stanalone type (so only one poller “central”) After installing Centreon following the official documentation, the central poller does not appear as running in the web UI (Configuration > Pollers):MariaDB is accessible via “centreon” userCentreon port is listening i already tried this :Configuration > Pollers > Export configuration Checked "Move generated files" and "Restart Engine"  Checking for errors in the logs on cbf, dentengine, and gorgone, see nothingSo, Why does the central poller still show "Is running: NO" even though all services are running and there are no apparent errors?What additional steps should I check to ensure the poller is correctly detected by Centreon?I’m pretty sure that my mistake is dumb but I have no idea what I did wrong.​Thank you by advance,Théo

Hello, i just done 2 fresh install with automatic script for version 24.04.From central web gui, i “ve attached a remote server. On web Gui ot remote server, why the configuration host and poller is enable??? i thought it’s was disable once the remote server is attached to central?regards

Bonjour,Nous utilisons le plugin Fortigate pour monitorer nos firewalls en SNMP, le discovery du service "Interfaces" fonctionne bien mais j'aurais voulu savoir s'il était possible de l'ajouter au mode "vpn".En effet, Fortigate fait la différence entre le check de l'interface d'un tunnel VPN (qui peut être UP) et le check du VPN en lui-même avec toutes les phases 2 (Qui peut être down).Nous avons donc besoin d'avoir les 2 checks distincts or il est très fastidieux de rajouter les services à la main avec les filtres sur les bons VPN (Il y en a des centaines par équipements en moyenne).J'ai tenté de créer les commandes des Macro et Discover pour ce mode et en modifiant le script perl (En ajoutant les sections pour les paramètres --disco-show et --disco-format) mais mes connaissances restreintes en développement PERL ne me permettent pas de le faire fonctionner.Y a t'il un moyen d'automatiser la création de ces services ?Merci,
