Centreon Infra Monitoring

Hi Community, I need your suggestions with the upgradation task, Currently, centreon is on 2.8.32v and i want to upgrade to the last version. how can I do this? Currently, it’s in centos 6.10 Looking forward to hearing from the community experts/

Hi,I just learnt there are breaking changes in the last Centreon plugin packs release. As versions 22.10.X of Centreon also relies on those plugin packs, it results in breaking changes introduced in Centreon 22.10.Plugin packs now have the same naming than the other Centreon parts (YY.MM.XX), having packages labelled *23.04* in a repository with an URL like */22.10/* is odd, to say the least.I think the previous versions of any Centreon package still are available in the repository, I haven’t checked but I hope it’s true for plugin packs also.What would be the cost, the technical difficulties, to have a per major version plugin packs repository to avoid breaking changes for a non major upgrade? Is the recent change in the naming a first step to such a resolution of the issue?

Hello,I’ve just installed Centreon 23.04 from VM TemplateI created an host with basic (OS-Windows-snmp-custom) , then export config poller, but the host are never displayed on the UI.It work only when i reboot the centengine service with CLI.It’s look like centreon user have no permissions to do that.unfortunatly, i don’t find any informations in logs. i check all the installation & prerequisites and i think i do all correctly. not find a lot of information on other topics.Some one can help me please ? EDIT : the poller is default poller on localhost

Hello, I’m newbie to Centreon and I would need to configure a GSM host. The host communicates via SIM card, which has two possible IP addresses. Of course, only one is active at a time, but we can’t know which one. Centreon will act as trap receiver for this host. The problem is that I can’t find a way to configure the two ip addresses for one host, and then I can’t link the trap received to the host if it is the second IP that is used. I don’t know if it’s something handled by Centreon or if it needs some development. Thanks in advance for your feedback

HelloWe’re using the DNS-Check to monitor DNS on the DCs. We had an issue with DNS yesterday but didn’t get notified because the Warning and Critical values are null. I’m not sure what they should be populated with for that plugin to be alerted.

Je n’ai cependant pas réussi à trouver des logs d'erreurs dans les logs httpd24, php-fpm ou sql-error.Ce comportement apparaît aussi sur les autres pages de configuration mais de manière plus sporadique.A priori, aucune modification n’a été effectuée ces derniers jours qui pourraient expliquer ce comportement. Avez-vous une idée ? 

Hello.I’m migrating the company’s old nagios monitoring to the new Centreon Open Source.I’m trying to subscribe to NRPE connectors, because I wan’t to use the existing NSClient installed in all the VMs.The thing is that when I try to subscribe to any new connector it redirects me to store.centreon.com and the web is under maintenance.Is there any other way to subscribe to the connectors or to monitor with NSClient in Centreon?Thank you.Kind regards.

Hi community, sorry for my english, i am french .. ;)i exposed my problem : i have a centreon 22.10.11 on centos7, i have update this with process centreon command “yum update” and all process , but now, and when i want to use services auto discovery scan i have the message No results found in Gorgone response, i have look in log of gorgone but i dont find error and the service was ok previously version. do you have solve and thank’s to your help. 😉 

Hi,This is a minor thing but still: “OK” should have both its letters upper-case.I’m not sure but I think it was correct in 22.10.7 and appeared in 22.10.11.PS: I’m trying to put a screen capture in this post but it looks like I can’t (the image stays in the “loading” state, with the rotating icon). I’m talking about the word “OK” which is in the “Status” column in that damned Resources Status page.

Hello,I’ve a new Centreon 23.04, my issue is when i export the configuration on my Central, it’s doesn’t work : I need to reload the centengine service to apply the change :#systemctl reload centengine.service Anyone have faced same issue? Does somebody have an idea, please? Thanks.

For modes list-ssids and list-frequencies I need to click on details to see the results. See screenshots. How to change the perl code to see results in one row like other modes? Thanks.

Hello, I just updated the Centreon central on Almalinux 8 with the latest version. (via https://docs.centreon.com/fr/docs/update/update-centreon-platform/) My central won't start, yet I did systemctl daemon-reload and restarted all services.
