Hello,

On my Centreon server, when a host is no longer reachable, it has to run 5 tests to validate its status.  The first 4 tests are carried out without any problem, but the 5th is never carried out and puts the poller in error.

I get a message saying there's an incident on the database. After restarting the poller from the collector management menu, the server restarts but spits itself out as soon as the host is down.

When the poller is in error, I have all my services in UP on the VM and no trace in the logs.

I'm running version 24.04.5.

Thanks for your help.

Hi @AntoninMHBSI, can you give us the following logs when issue appears:

  • /var/log/centreon-engine/centengine.log
  • /var/log/centreon-broker/*.log

Hi @Laurent ,

Thanks for your reply.

Here are my logs :

  • /var/log/centreon-engine/centengine.log
  • /var/log/centreon-broker/central-broker-master.log
  • /var/log/centreon-broker/central-module-master.log

empty

  • /var/log/centreon-broker/central-rrd-master.log

  • /var/log/centreon-broker/watchdog.log

empty

Thank you, We can see in centengine.log that the 5/5 attempts and that notification are sent.

Did you receive these notifications?

No, I haven't received the notification.

But I found my problem, the notification is a call triggered by a call with an OVH line.

There's a problem at OVH and so Centreon reaches the end of execution of my program to resume its operation.

As the program doesn't finish, Centreon freezes for more than 5 minutes and loses synchronization.

Thanks for your time and help.
