Symptom

When you access the Configuration > Hosts > Discovery menu, the following message appears: ‘Your license is not valid’.

 

Possible issue

A hardware configuration has been modified on your Centreon server.

Check

You need to check that the fingerprint retrieved via the Get Fingerprint button is identical to the one displayed in the license file.

  1. In Centreon interface, go to the Administration > Extensions > Manager page.
  2. Click the Get Fingerprint button and paste the content in a new temporary file (to find it later).
  3. Log in to your Centreon server using SSH and access the /etc/centreon/license.d/epp.license file.
    The command should return information such as the fingerprint number.
  4. You can now check whether the fingerprint number is identical to the one you pasted previously.

If the fingerprint number is different, you must unlink the license from the server and retrieve a new license.
