Hi,

 

I would like to know if there is a bug in the plugin, or I am doing something wrong.

I have a Cisco 9300 series switch and I monitor environment from there.

Currently it is showing:

Why is it still showing as warning? Should the warning and critical part syntax be something different than the above one?

Any update on this? Any workaround? This issue with temperatures causes us to have lot of unnecessary alarms, and as the weather is getting better the temperatures will keep rising.

I had a similar problem for 9200 switches.

At first I also used a filter to simply turn off this sensor.

 

In your case, as well as in mine, the root of the problem is the incorrect thresholds that the plugin returns (… maybe the switch is to blame, I don't know … ):

 

'sensor.celsius_Switch 1 - C9300-24P - Temp Inlet Sensor 0'=30C;32:45;-9:55;;

 

The above option "--warning='temperature,1012.46'" will not work.

Because the problem is not in the temperature instance, but in the sensor instance.
Try changing the threshold values.
Try using it like this:

 

--warning='sensor.celsius,.12]01u012],5:45' --critical='sensor.celsius,.12]01u012],1:55'
