Hello, following an upgrade to 24.04 of my central unit and my map, the map menu displays:

Failed to Authenticate for 3 retries

all users and connection to the map/central database are good.

Do you have any ideas?

Hello,

There could be a few reasons this is happening. Have you looked into the Map logs ? They are usually quite explicit. You can look for a line that starts with ERROR :

e2025-06-02 12:01:13.320] ]ERROR] ]c.c.map.server.broker.BrokerClient] (...)
(...)
Caused by : (...)

There are a few Troubleshooting guidelines you can look into : https://docs.centreon.com/docs/graph-views/map-web-troubleshooting/#failed-to-authenticate-error-when-connecting-to-the-map-homepage

Have you had the opportunity to look into this article ?

Hello,

Of course, I already looked at the docs and a whole bunch of other options before posting here. No errors in the map logs, the only error I have is on my central when I click on map, it's in /apache2/error.log

AH01071: Got error 'PHP message: PHP Deprecated:  json_decode(): Passing null to parameter #1 ($json) of type string is deprecated in /usr/share/centreon/www/modules/centreon-map4-web-client/views/options/DB-Func.php on line 165', referer: centreon/monitoring/map

What is your Map version ? Is the status of Map UP when you open the URL in the browser ?

http://[MAP_IP_ADDRESS]:[MAP_PORT]/centreon-map/api/beta/actuator/health

What are the errors that show up in the browser Dev tools ?
