Hi at all,

the volume var/lib/mysql growing 5GB per week. I gave it more space two weeks ago, from 60GB to120GB. This is the graph in 4 months:

Two weeks ago the volume filled up, this caused the db logs table to be deleted. I recreated the table, but now it’s not partitioned.

So, I have two question:

  • Why the var/lib/mysql volume growing so quickly?
  • Is it a problem if the logs table is not partitioned?

I'm waiting for a response, thank you very much!!

HI @Kalos the growth depend of the number of resources you monitor, the number of events per resources, the number of actions per resources, etc.

You must partition this table in order to purge old data with the associate Centreon cron.

Hi @Kalos,
Did you manage to find a solution to your issue? If so, feel free to share how you did it; it will help someone with the same problem find a solution easily.
Thank you,

Sorry for the late,

I resolved the issue. I reduced the retention durations at 30 days.

I partitioned the logs table after.

Thanks at all.
