Hi,

I am using the Centreon plugin for Grafana. It is working well and is simple to use.

However, I have an issue as a lot of my metrics have the same name and consequently if I put more than one service in my query, the metrics are being given a random number.

The number is randomly attributed and change everytime I reload the dashboard. Meaning, I can’t accurately create any panel with more than one service unless I do a sum where the metrics can be changed around without consequences. But for example, I need to do a simple top 10 of the most used equipements, i won’t be able to know which one is which.

Is there any way around that problem that I missed ?

Regards,

Thierry.

Hi Thierry,

Thank you for your positive feedback. Yes indeed, we have identified this lack in our implementation. We will add labels containing host and service name in the API response.

Would that solve your problem?

Best,

Nils

That would be great !
When can it be live? I am looking forward to test it.

Regards,

Thierry.

Hello Thierry,

This is on the pipe, and will be implemented on the next weeks.

On a note, as this would be an evolution in Centreon product, this won’t be backported on previous version of Centreon and therefore only available from 23.04 version of Centreon / MBI.
