Ping routeur

Badge +1

Bonjour,

Hello @Jean-Marc
Please ask your problem in English. This will help all other non-french speaking users who have the same issue to benefit from the solutions that will be proposed. Thank you for your understanding
About your issue, can you copy/paste the command line associated to your host and service?
Also, can you tell us if the host is UNREACHABLE or DOWN?
Thanks

Hello,

I want to monitor VPN routers (Celeste operator, StarQos routers) via Centreon 21.10.

So I created the first host.
template: generic_active_host, verification command: base_centreon_ping
I also created the service:
pattern: base-ping-lan, verification command: base_centreon_ping

Problem: The host is “unavailable” while the service is OK. Standard ping from a computer is OK.

I'm wrong, but where? I've been searching the internet and the forum for a while now to find a solution.

Service : /usr/lib64/nagios/plugins/check_icmp -H 192.168.x7.xx4 -n 5 -w 200,20% -c 400,50%

Host : /usr/lib64/nagios/plugins/check_icmp -H 192.168.x7.xx4 -n  -w  -c

There is a difference between the 2 lines.

Hello @Jean-Marc

The command base_centreon_ping takes the options values in the service and not in the host.

Macro are defined like this: $_SERVICEXXXX$

Can you edit the host template generic-active-host and link it to the command “base_host_alive”?

Thank you for your answer. I have done your advice, after deleting all of the hosts and creating again, it works.
