Hi,
We have a central server with many remote pollers in network areas with strict policies.
Currently, the e-mail notifications are sent by the pollers and thus require a SMTP flow from the poller to a SMTP server/relay.
Our cyber security team is not very enthusiat with this idea. A simple solution would be to have the option to send all e-mails notification from the central server, which is in a more open network. This would remove the need for SMTP flow at the poller level and keep the input/output of the poller at the minimum.
I hope you consider the idea,
Sincerely,
