Hello,

Since version 7.1 of Forcepoint Firewalls, it is no longer possible to monitor firewall nodes via Centreon, as the private Forcepoint MIB has changed. Based on my research using MIB Browser, the new private Forcepoint MIB has a root of .1.3.6.1.4.1.47565, replacing the old Stonegate MIB.

Would it be possible to create a new plugin for the recent versions of Forcepoint Firewalls? I have several major clients who need this plugin to manage their Forcepoint architecture.

Thank you in advance.

Hello :)

Thank you for this feedback. Do you think you can provide us with anonymized data (SNMPWalk) to ensure we develop a new plugin meeting your needs? I’ll give you my mail in private message where you can send this datas, we’ll take care to check if data are anonymized before use its for automated tests purpose.

Best regards.

Hi,

This a link where to find details about the MIB. Forcepoint KB

Is the snmpwalk mandatory ?

Best Regards,

Anis.

Hello @Anis A. :)

If this is possible yes, it will greatly facilitate development and its quality. You can anonymise all the fields that require it (we also have an in-house process for anonymising this data, which we do systematically) and provide the data to me by mail using <my thewatch username>@centreon.com

Kind regards
