    Autodiscovery mapper with OIDReleased

    Hi team,Considering that some hardware are still not in the plugin packs, i created host/service templates using generic snmp plugin.However, for the autodiscovery, we cannot use a mapper based on a specific OID (i.e hardware, enterprise, model...etc).That would be very nice to have this possibility added in a near future. Regards.

    Bonjour,Lorsque l’on travaille avec beaucoup de groupes d’hôtes et différents intervenants susceptibles d’en créer / supprimer régulièrement, il est interessant de pouvoir faire un filtrage d'accès aux ressources qui permet de voir tous les groupes d'hôtes (sans les spécifier) et d'exclure une liste qui pourrait être spécifiée.Actuellement si l'on regarde ce qu'il est possible de faire dans le menu d'accès aux ressources, voici ce qu’il y a  :- Soit on coche "Inclure tous les groupes d'hôtes" et dans ce cas, il n'est pas possible de définir des groupes d'exclusion.- Soit on ne coche pas "Inclure tous les groupes d'hôtes" et dans ce cas, il est possible de définir des groupes d'exclusion mais chaque groupe autorisé doit être ajouté manuellement.Est-il possible d’implémenter le cas suivant dans le menu d'accès aux ressources : - On coche "Inclure tous les groupes d'hôtes" et il est toujours possible de définir des groupes d’hôtes d'exclusion.Merci

    When a poller is inoperative or unreachable, status of related hosts and services are missing or in their last known status (depends of poller centreon engine configuration). This could be bewildering, an « unreachable » status would be more accurate.Persona: everybody Problem to solve: Set a more accurate status to checks related to the faulting poller. Expected outcome: Option to set en « unreachable » status to these checks. Potential solutions: Add en option in the « check options » tab of the configuration centreon engine menu.Regards

    Restore possibility to open windows directly in new tabsReleased

    Hi,In versions prior to 22.04, one can right click on menu items to open the windows in a new tab rather in the current one. It was very convenient since on a regular basis one need to access items scattered in different menu screens to address one subject. Persona: administrators and operators Problem to solve: opening menu windows in a single tab. Expected outcome: restore the possibility to easily open several tabs and then swipe trhough them when troubleshooting events or adressing some fastidious subject (ex : ACL 😉 ) Potential solutions: just restore the previous way.     To filter the original host template and service template for a better usage of the plugin pack Persona : As a Centreon administrator Problem to solve : Actually with the plugin pack, it possible to select the original template. The best practice is to use the -custom template, because if we update the rpm package of plugin pack, all the modification on this original template is erased, because it’s reinstalled. Many Centreon administrator forgot to select the -custom even when you duplicate a -custom template to inherit and personalize it Expected outcome : Impossibility of select the original host or service template, and when you duplicate a -custom host or service template replace the original by the -custom to be compliant with the best practice of the plugin pack usage. Potential solutions : Maybe it’s possible to add a column on database to flag the developer or original host or service template, just to hide them when you open the list of template. About the duplicate process, maybe it’s possible to replace the original template by the -custom at the end of the process of duplication. Regards

    Use pagination in LDAP requestsNeeds Votes

    Hi,In Active Directory, the default value for maximum number of results is 1000. That implies one must ask for pagination if the request could return more than 1000 results. (with ldapsearch the option is -E pr=1000/noprompt)The Centreon code doesn’t make use of pagination for LDAP request and so, if we let the “Synchronize LDAP on login” option activated, the login of users is stuck a few minutes (between 2 and sometime 5!), which is not something acceptable. Also, if the group that interest us is after the 1000th result then it won’t appear in the form to configure an access group.It’s important to note that when I execute the two requests (users & groups) manually with the ldapsearch command, with pagination, they never take more than a few second to execute although the about 1500 results I get. So maybe it’s not only the no use of pagination that is problematic with Centreon’s LDAP code…To sum it up :Is it possible for Centreon to make use of pagination for LDAP request to support results with more than 1000 records ? If not, is it possible that the user LDAP synchronization doesn’t block the login?

    Hello,Actually Plugin Pack of Netscaler service template VServer Status seems don’t include the discover options (Macro, Command), and of course is not possible to use it with the Discovery module.It could be useful to have this feature for the VServer Status to monitor each VServer with is self threshold, without to have to create services by services with the --filter-name options.  Persona : As a Centreon administrator Problem to solve : Actually we do add manually VServer Status of Citrix NetScaler, it made many click and fill many macros like the --filter-name, it’s not a pleasure to do that. Expected outcome : Have a process that facilitate the add of vserver status Potential solutions : Add the discovery rules about the vserver status, to use the autodiscovery service module to add more easylly like many others plugin pack who have discovery rules.  Regards,Greg

For example allow the change of color of the background, of the tables … from the parameters.To make sure it will work with dark mode, we can force the user to chose colors from both modes or automatically select the opposite/negative color when activating dark mode.

    As a user I would like to have the possibility of using name instead of the id for the submit result API: https://docs-api.centreon.com/api/centreon-web/21.10/#tag/Submit/paths/~1monitoring~1hosts~1{host_id}~1services~1{service_id}~1submit/post We cannot industrialize a solution for passive monitoring because we need for each host and each service to know the id.With the name, our customes that used NSCA can simply migrate on the API by using the name of a host and a service just like the NSCA agent. Globally, we can create in the future a bundle for the passive monitoring with the API (like a cron file, and python or perl to script to submit result at regular interval).

    Former THRUK users, we do not find the information with the same flexibility since the migration to Centreon. Regular expressions are complicated for all types of users. The ability to search or classify on all the fields of centreon is really practical, whether in the view of events or those of configurations.

    Bonjour,Serait-il possible dans une prochaine version de Centreon, de mettre dans la vue "status de ressources" l'alias de l’hôte à côté du service rattaché a cet hôte ?Pour le moment l'alias n'apparait que sur l’hôte. Nous souhaiterions qu'il apparaissent aussi sur les service de ce même hôte.
