Hi,We use Centreon 23.10.11.We have e Timeperiod linked to 400 services. This timeperiod is set to run the services everyday 08H-10H.The problem is that the Poller tries to run all of them at 08H00 … which leads to cpu load (on the poller) and also timeouts for some services ….The services are ran locally on the Poller (Not on remote hosts).The services are configured with a ‘Retry Check Interval = 8 minutes and a  ‘Max Check Attempts=8”I juste need that these services to be run once a day but not necessary at 08H exact time.I just want to find a way to get these services execution dispatched (spreaded) in the Timeperiod (From 08H to 10H) …Example:service 1 : run at 08H00service 2 and service 3  : run at 08H01service 4: …. run at 08H04 … etc Any idea ? Thanks ?

I am in the process of migrating my centreon 20.04 to 24.04 with the "awie" plugin.So I can export from 20.04 all services, hosts, controls, contacts... and import them (.zip format) into 24.04.I have a problem when I try to import all the services, the loading is infinite and only 53 services are downloaded (out of more than 1300).I tried to split the zip format to see where the problem could be. Sometimes the import succeeds, for example when I keep 8000/15000+ lines of code, but only the 53 services are loaded (I check on these lines, there should be about 574 services). I also have the same problem with the verification checks. All other elements are imported successfully. We also tried to restart pollers, services (cbd, centengine, gorgoned, centreon), reboot the server. Nothing changed. Thanks for y

I have an old centreon version 18.10 running on a centos7. I want to migrate to debian12 version 24.04.I've followed the documentation (https://docs.centreon.com/docs/migrate/migrate-from-el-to-debian/) but during the upgrade process I get an error and it can't apply version 20.04.19 (see image). Nothing in the log files sql-error.log or upgrade.log as suggested.Any ideas?ThanksJean

Hello,I am using Centreon DSM and I have noticed that when I acknowledge a slot, the slot executes it’s check command and pass into OK status, so I checked centengine.log file and I have found that two command were executed (acknowledge and force_check ), so am asking if there is a way to disable the force check when acknowledge an alert from the resources status page.We have the possibility to enable/disable a force_check in the old interface, but not in the new interface. Acknowledge: Resources status (no option to disable force_check) Acknowledge: Status Details → Services (with option to disable/enable force_check)

Hello team, I need help in clearing the mail queue in one of our Centreon pollers. For some reason we have hundreds of old/stale mails in the queue. I use the command “mailq” to see all these old emails in the queue. I need to clear or delete these old emails from the queue, but I am not sure in which folder or directory to check and clear this...also can please advise the correct comment to delete this? Thank you,Crisanto

Hi,Just upgraded a plateforme to 23.10.14 a few days ago and I noticed all the monitoring connector packs were no more  marked as installed in the manager (although all centreon-pack-* packages are present). This looks like a bug but it’s not the most surprising thing. When I went for reinstall the packs I noticed very strange dependencies, like, for example, when I installed “Generic SNMP” it installed “Mac SNMP” and “FreeBSD SNMP” (at least). If I try then to remove “Mac SNMP” it confirms the dependency:  Same with “FreeBSD SNMP”. What’s the problem? I can perfectly understand how it may exist a dependency on “Generic SNMP” for the Mac and FreeBSD packs, but not the other way around.I guess I should remove the RPM for those packs (I’ll test if I find some time later) but it still doesn’t look right to

Hi! Is there a clever way to negate the ACLs?A little background: We use Centreon as umbrella monitoring for many different applications. As the IT departmentt is quite big, there are several teams with specific focus. The main crew just cannot help with some of the problems as they are too specific, so a team, i e. ERP crew,  needs to react on the Centreon warnings. We actually can add these services to specific host groups or service groups and use ACLs to show the specific teams. So far so good, but they still appear in the views of the main crew. Of course, we can create an ACL for “all others” and present this to the main crew, but we are afraid that someone will add a service to monitor and forget this setting. The monitored host or service will then be simply invisible. A good solution would be a way to negate the ACL, i.e: resource ACL “hostgroup NOT ERP”.  Any suggestions?
