With the announced end of support for CentOS 7 (planned for June 30th, 2024), we have seen a growing number of compatibility issues with this operating system. This has forced Centreon to implement workarounds or to rely on non-official component distribution.
Centreon wants to provide the best support, experience and security. To ensure everyone anticipates the end of CentOS 7, and that we focus our efforts on modern operating systems, we will take a step forward in stopping CentOS 7 support in the 2023 Spring release (planned around April 2023). This will also end support for equivalent distributions: Redhat 7 and Oracle Linux 7.
Prior versions that do currently support CentOS 7 will remain fully supported through their entire lifetime (please check details in the lifecycle policy) and until the CentOS 7 end of support.
