Building a skilled community to strengthen the project while making it a professionally adopted, industry-grade open source software is much more challenging. It requires a sustainable business model that balances the spirit of open source with economic realities. And what works in the early years of a project doesn't necessarily work forever: finding the right balance is a never-ending journey.
