Hi!my central poller drops randomly, after restarting the poller it reconnects, this was after updating to version 22.10

👋

@sfonseca can you share a bigger context?

  1. which version are you coming from?
  2. number of hosts/services?
  3. enough resources?

I am including some links that could help

Recently upgraded from 21.10, when you first boot run this.use centreon_storage;update index_data set special = '0' where special <> '1';
After a day this topic began to appear in yellow the last update, and the only way to fix it is to restart monitoring engine.

i have 598 Host and 2900 service, my centreon centrar is in hyperv, 4vcpu and 6 gb ram

Do you also have a poller? it is recommended that you use a central and a poller for those numbers

https://docs.centreon.com/docs/21.10/installation/prerequisites/#centreon-server-requirements

Remember that the central is also taking care of the DB and WebUI

yes i have pollers,

the 500 host and 2900 services are distributed in the following pollers

I have enabled the debug, but it doesn't show me much, last night I let tail -f run to see what happened at the time of disconnection.

central-broker-master.log

central-module-master.log

central-rrd-master.log

the only way to repair is to restart the centengine service.

this is very frustrating... the previous version worked fine... =(

Hi @sfonseca,

I have exactly the same problem here !!

I updated my platfom yesterday from 22.04 to 22.10 et since my central not running randomly and comes back when i restart.

Have you been able to find a solution since?

Regards,

@sfonseca I see you are running 21.04 when your central is at 22.10. Can you please update your poller and try again

https://docs.centreon.com/docs/upgrade/upgrade-from-21-04/

When you upgrade your central server, make sure you also upgrade all your remote servers and your pollers. All servers in your architecture must have the same version of Centreon. In addition, all servers must use the same version of the BBDO protocol.

The BBDO version might be your ticket @ArthurB

Hi,

The problem is still present here, I am in exchange with the support but for the moment without success.

I'll rewrite here if anyone had the same problem and found the solution.

This becomes very problematic for us, our Central is sometimes down several hours at night until we restart it.

Regars,
