Hello,

I just installed Nagios+Centreon on CentOS Stream 8.5.

My Nagios version is Core 4.4.6.

My Centreon version is 21.10.1.

When I go to “Configuration > Poller” :

  • I click on “Export Configuration”
  • I check “Move export Files”, “Restart Monitoring Engine”
  • I choose “Restart” Method

I got the following debug :

[ - ] Central

Reading main configuration file '/var/cache/centreon/config/engine/1/centengine.DEBUG'.
Reading resource file '/var/cache/centreon/config/engine/1/resource.cfg'
Warning Notifier 'TRAPIL-SW-ACC-1' has no notification time period defined!
Warning Notifier 'Ping' has no notification time period defined!
Checking global event handlers...
Checking obsessive compulsive processor commands...

Checked 1 commands.
Checked 2 connectors.
Checked 0 contacts.
Checked 0 host dependencies.
Checked 0 host escalations.
Checked 0 host groups.
Checked 1 hosts.
Checked 0 service dependencies.
Checked 0 service escalations.
Checked 0 service groups.
Checked 1 services.
Checked 1 time periods.

Total Warnings: 2
Total Errors: 0

But the Nagios process have the same PID and the Centreon host and services are not transferred to Nagios.

Nothing appear in Nagios, I only got localhost and not TRAPIL-SW-ACC-1 host an service.

Please help me, any suggestions are welcomed.

Best regards,

Olivier

Hi @obertolotti , Centreon is no more compatible with Nagios core since severals years.

You need to use Centreon Engine as scheduler.

You can find information on docs.centreon.com
