Hello @Kélian

Centreon documentation explain that : https://docs.centreon.com/fr/docs/administration/postfix/ or https://docs.centreon.com/docs/administration/postfix/

You do check the Postfix Documentation, more specifically the postmap command and the map.

For french reader : https://postfix.traduc.org/index.php/STANDARD_CONFIGURATION_README.html at the end of this docs.

For others : http://www.postfix.org/postmap.1.html and http://www.postfix.org/generic.5.html

Greg

Hi,

I come back to this copic because I have a similar problem.

Iindeed but notification does not go away and when I look at the logs, i see that postfix try to send the email but when using “notif@xxx is not allwoed to send as MAILER-DEAMOn@xxx ”

But I would like my emails to go from the address "notif@xxx" and not from "mailer-demon". how can i change this?

For information if in CLI I use the commande mail -r it works

Can you help me?

Thanks in advance,

Best Regards,

Hi Ponchoh,

Thanks for your link, but this not help me for my current problem.

My problem is when Centreon tries to send me a notification.
It does it by default with "mailer-demon@mondomain.com" and when I look at the log, I see the error put in my previous post.

I need to change "mailer-demon@mondomain.com" to "notif@mondomain.com" well I don't see where I can change that.

Do you have an idea? a parameter in the notification command?

For information my notification commande is:

“/usr/bin/printf "%b" "***** centreon Notification *****\n\nType:$NOTIFICATIONTYPE$\nHost: $HOSTNAME$\nState: $HOSTSTATE$\nAddress: $HOSTADDRESS$\nInfo: $HOSTOUTPUT$\nDate/Time: $DATE$" | @MAILER@ -r notif@mondomain.com -s "Host $HOSTSTATE$ alert for $HOSTNAME$!" $CONTACTEMAIL$

Thanks in advance,

Best Regard,
Jérome
