We have centreon configured in one of our servers which is polling the IBM MQ Server to get the status of the channels . It was working fine past 5 years with out any issues . Suddenly we are getting unknown status in centreon for one of queue managers running in a host . Any logs path we can check for the unknown status in centreon ? Can i get some help here?

I don’t see any issue in the mq server. we are currently using mq_check.pl script

Hi @sharathsis123

Yes, you can use the plugin shipped with centreon-plugin-Applications-Ibmmq-Mqi.noarch package to list channels and check how the operate.

It comes with a Pack if you’re using IT-100, IT Editions or Business edition. The package to get the preconfigured templates is:

centreon-pack-applications-ibmmq-mqi.noarch.

From centreon when we run the command manually it is taking more 9 min to get executed . Initially i thought it can be a network issue but our networks confirmed no issues on the network. For the unknown status any specific logs we can check at centreon ? or any parameter in centreon we can tune ?

I don’t know this mq_check.pl script, I’m afraid I won’t be able to help here. You should give a try to the centreon-plugins version and see if the issue still arises.

It wil be easier to help with a code we have access to.
