Pollers are not running after update from 21.04.10 to 21.10

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to update Centreon 21.04.13 by following this procedure: Montée de version depuis Centreon 21.04 | Centreon Documentation

Everything is working fine during the installation and I am now able to login !
However, I have got the following errors on the GUI :

  • Pollers not running
  • Database issue

I’ve checked the Centreon logs but I could not find anything related to this error.

I’ve followed the troubleshooting article from Centreon, everything seems to be OK (https://www.centreon.com/blog/centreon-troubleshoot-series-episode-1-help-mon-poller-ne-fonctionne-pas/)

UPDATE : I have find something strange, the version of the poller is “Centreon Engine 21.04.4”

I’ve found the following errors in /var/log/centreon-broker/central-broker-master.log :

[sql] [error] mysql_connection: error while starting connection
[core] [error] failover: global error: mysql_connection: error while starting connection

I’ve found another error when I check the status of the service MariaDB :

Hi @Alan Blanchard,

 

 

Did you export the central server configuration and restart cbd and centengine ? If you did, check the credentials in /etc/centreon-broker/central-broker.json (look for “db_user” and “db_password”). If they are the wrong ones, modify them in the central-broker-master configuration (Configuration  >  Pollers  >  Broker configuration page, click on it then “output” tab). Then export the central server configuration and restart cbd and centengine.

That was exactly the cause of my issue.

I don’t know why my credentials were modified during the upgrade…
