Hello @Benoît MARCHAL,
You only need to click on “yes” for the field “Create Services link et to the template too” when you add a template to an existing host. You don’t need to when you create a host.
Thank you for your idea.
the problem is that this button systematically returns to 'no' and therefore, if we update the template of the host, it is not taken automatically: you have to come back to each server ("massive change" is possible) but this n It's not easy when you have hundreds of servers to know which ones are impacted.
There must be something I don't understand about the advantage of templates over hostgroups.
cordially
Hello @Benoît MARCHAL ,
The button systematically returns to ‘no’ because, if I don’t say a stupidity, the service is create only when you add the template the first time. The service will no be updated if you change the template after the create (it’s just for a oneshot creation).
Personnaly, I use the services by hostgroup the most and for some needs I create each service myself. I use the hosts templates to complete the host creation form exept the name, alias, ip and relations.
If you want, I can explain how I do in private message (I suppose you’re french too and it will be easily for me in that language ^^)
Have a good day
Sully
Yes, I am French.
I carry out tests using a methodology defined with a person from the Centreon company. But I don't understand how this can simplify the configuration for me.

Hello Benoît,
Please, let us know when your problem is solved, so we can change its status.
Thanks
