I’m facing regular issues with using the CLAPI centreon command.

Especially in terms of permissions. I face issues regarding permissions on log files or php files, sometimes it’s files created that are blocking gorgone.

I was wondering if there was a clear recommendation in terms of what is required in terms of permissions for the execution of a CLAPI centreon command.

Is it

  • as root
  • as apache (i’m running in RHEL 9)
  • as centreon (or other centreon linked user like centreon-engine)
  • as a custom user but with centreon as a secondary group

Would someone that faced similar issues please guide me ?

Thank you so much
