A customer requested if it’s possible to add “Display Host Address” tick to widget service-monitoring.I think that it’s a good idea because not always the value added in the HOSTNAME is something know by DNS.

Improve sorting by status in widgetsReleased

My idea is relative of Widget and impact my company administrator and customer.In the actual situation, when we try to order NON-OK services in Widget we have 2 possibilities:In ascending order  : Warning / Critical / Unknown In descending order : Unknown / Critical / WarningSo there is no possibility to view critical issues on top of the list if we want to keep this 3 status in the Widget. If we want to do that, we have to create more than one service status widget.Is-it possible to made change to order services status like this : Critical / Warning / Unknown ?

Plugin for Splunk : return value of spl requestPlanned

Hi    Persona: operators and adminsProblem to solve: The Monitoring Connector Splunk brings a host template App-Monitoring-Splunk-Api-custom which allows to configure search request using Query-Matches-Number template. This service returns the number of response to the request. But there's no way, with this plugin, to get a value calculated by Splunk.For instance : it'd be useful to monitor ratio of splunk scheduled requests skipped by the scheduler. Proper SPL request exists and return a percentage(index=x blablabla | table skippedRatio). Since the service template counts the number of response, the best one can do is to add condition to the SPL request (index=x blablabla | table skippedRatio | where skippedRatio > y) so that it would generate a response only in case of threshold crossing. It's a shame because threshold is coded in the request, return value can not be historised.Expected outcome: a Query-Number-Value service template.Potential solutions: Enrich plugin to get back a

The problem is Centreon support says us they don’t help on this solution anymore.So, we search a solution for create pdf report from csv file of data from centreon or any solution they give us the capability to do that. CMA Windows - Command output is only on one line

Hi all.I use CMA for most of the checks on my Windows servers. Everything is working fine since version 24.10.10, native checks as well through plugins (centreon_plugins.exe or custom script in powershell). Nevertheless, I noticed that there was a difference with the display of the checks output in the Centreon web interface: only the first line of the result is displayed, whereas with other types of checks, the display can have several lines.Example:Command: Service template: Result on host locally Result in Centreon Web with CMA: Result in Centreon Web with NSClient:  Is there a configuration to be made to allow the display of all lines?

Centreon Collector not working on fresh install

Hi,I’m upgrading from Centreon 22 on Centos 7 to the latest version on Debian 12. I made a fresh install of Centreon and I used the Import/export module to import back all the data. Everything seems fine but I can’t start the colletor. When I export the configuration, everything is green and OK but it doesn’t start. Without TLS : The agent monitoring will stop after 1 hour. Seriously ?

Hello,Trying to setup a test platform, without TLS , in the “Add poller/agent configuration” configuration there is this warning :“You have selected No TLS for the encryption level. This parameter is meant for test purposes only and is not allowed in production. The agent monitoring will stop after 1 hour. “ We are all big boys, sys admin.We dont want to have to restart the agents all day long when we will test the agents, please remove this behavior.We all know when we want TLS and when we didn’t.Thanks !

Errors with RRDtool

Hi Centreon community, I have no found informations for my problems, so i post here. I am new System Administrator, and i try install Centreon. But have performance problems. After looking log files, i found cause : the log file /var/log/centreon-broker/central-rrd-master.log with high weight (23Go). An error example : illegal attempt to update using time 1724456519.000000 when last update time is 1724456519.000000 (minimum one second step)I activate RRDCached to avoid concurrent write, but have the same problem. [rrd] [error] RRD: ignored update error in file '/var/lib/centreon/metrics/XXXX.rrd': rrdcached query failed on file '/var/lib/centreon/metrics/XXXX.rrd' (UPDATE /var/lib/centreon/metrics/XXXX.rrd 1724329519:67100672.000000): -1 illegal attempt to update using time 1724329519.000000 when last update time is 1724329519.000000 (minimum one second step) Do you have an idea for this problem ? Thanks ! (Sorry if my english is bad, i’am frenchy)

automatic API permission - use of Contact Templates / ACLs (like with OpenID Group)New

Hello, i wanted to suggest the upgrade of the API permissions from the contact templates.Today the API permissions (configuration/realtime) and the access to frontend can only be configured on a user basis and not through contact templates or ACLs.I’m studying the integration of openid authentication on the Centreon and i’m able to use openid groups to assign contact groups with ACLs but i am not able to automatically assign API permissions for those properties.Would that be possible ? I also mention that as the configuration/realtime difference is specific to the V1 api, i’m wondering if that denomination should be kept or maybe updated to reflect the V2 api

I have a server a Centreon Server 24.10.3.I have a ACL for non admin user. The ACL works normaly on view `Monitoring > Resources Status`, and I can filtered service from my service group SG-DSK-CPU : But in the view `Monitoring  >  Status Details  >  Services by Servicegroup` the service group list is empty :And the problem is the same in the customs views with the widget [servicegroup-monitoring] : Someone has the same issue ?

🇬🇧Hello,I’m having an issue with the Bluemind plugin. I’ve tried different “ssh backend” options, but I keep getting errors.With sshcli:UNKNOWN: sshcli backend cannot use ssh password. please use backend plink or libsshAnyway, I mostly use service accounts, so I tried libssh :UNKNOWN: command execution error [exit code: 7]Or if the mode is set to core instead of xmpp :UNKNOWN: Cannot serialize statefile '/var/lib/centreon/centplugins/bluemind_core_***.***.***.***_xxxxxxxxxxxx....'Never mind, I tried plink:UNKNOWN: Command error: Can't exec "plink": Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type at /usr/lib/centreon/plugins//centreon_bluemind_ssh.pl line 4059. I tested the service account on the Bluemind VM and got a proper response with the curl command specified in the documentation, but nothing works.I just upgraded Centreon to version 24.10 today after upgrading Debian from 11 to 12. Hi,It’s be possible to give the possibility to change the size of the icons below 84x84 of hosts, services and BAM?We have seen that it’s possible to use geometric shapes but they are limited to 20x20. So, impossible to have icons between 20 and 84?The triangle format of the geometric shape of the services is also confusing and can be misleading in assuming that it is a trend.Best regards
