HTTP Collection : parse headers values

Hi, Here’s the matter : to get metrics from an API one has first to request the “login” endpoint, providing user and password, to get back an authentication token (with a limite time validity). BUT this token is provided in the header “Authorization”, not in the json body of the response, and I didn’t manage to get it.Is there a way to extract values of the header ?Thx.

HelloVersion Centreon 24.10.5used centreon-monitoring-agent-24.10.4.exeI have installed   OS-Windows-Centreon-Monitoring-Agent but all check Memory CPU storage swap, uptime session, Ntp, updates failed with error message with Excecute command failed  although  check commands are correct

Unsecure install of Centreon Monitoring Agent

Hello, I would like to test Centreon Monitoring Agent on my LAB Centreon, freshly updated on 24.10.7. I followed the installation manual here : https://docs.centreon.com/fr/pp/integrations/plugin-packs/getting-started/how-to-guides/cma/I understood that the connection between the poller and CMA agent must be secure on production. This means it may not be required in a demo/test environment. However, I can't find any further information on this.Also, the "Public certificate file name" and "Private key file name" fields in the Poller/agent configuration section seem to be mandatory. Does this mean that the poller-agent connection must be secure regardless of the environment?Thanks!

VMWare 8 connector : First stone

Hello everyone, As part of our project to update our dedicated VMware connectors, we are deploying the foundation of the VMware 8 ESX monitoring connector via REST API this month. This connector is a lightweight version, as it only includes CPU, memory, power and host discovery modes. We have already planned to enhance this connector in the coming months with new modes. It is marked as experimental because, at this stage, we still need to verify its functionality with numerous metrics (as may be the case in certain production environments). Feel free to share your feedback on this and more generally on this connector here. We will keep you informed of progress on this subject.

Currently, in version 24.10, if you want to filter results using the "filter options," it's unfortunately impossible to create a simple "sql-like" rule since you must click on each checkbox in the results drop-down list.This is particularly problematic if you want to select multiple results. Today, searches on the new "resource status" pages are still catastrophic, rendering these new pages unusable. It's necessary to add a "select all" button or simply display the search results if no checkbox is selected. In the meantime, please maintain the good deprecated pages and definitely don't delete them in 25.10. The "resource status" pages are still far too far from matching the deprecated pages and are unusable because they lack too much basic functionality for users.  Thanks a lot

Certain poller not sending email notification.Check configuration of working poller to problematic poller and cant see the issue.Tried troubleshooting email test to poller not sending any email notification:echo "test" | mail -s "test" test@test.comtesting goes thru and received my test emailany idea where to check or we missed out for this poller?Centreon version 21.10.7

Error with fresh install with new version

Hello, A new user here, coming from Zabbix. Decided to use Centreon on this new project and was super excited. However, looks like we are off to a disappointing start here :( Setup Centreon latest version last night on Alma Linux 9.6. Followed each and every step as outlined in the docs. The installation was smooth, no error, no issues at all. However, Poller “Configuration Files Export” started throwing error after adding my Trial license and installing Base Connectors.  I have tried all possible combinations on /var/cache/centreon/config/engine/ for permission, ownership, but that error will not go away. :(Now I am just wondering, if the fresh installation has such issues, how it will work out with updates in future :(Thanks

Migrate from Centreon 2.8.32 community edition to Centreon 24.04.2 Licensed

Hello Centreon addicts, We were using Centreon 2.8.32 community edition for about 3 years and were very happy with it to manage our infra, so we decided to buy a License for upgrade to the latest version and use the commercial plugins.BUT, migration is really not an easy way, I’ve first tried to follow the migration path on Centreon Web Site (https://docs.centreon.com/fr/docs/migrate/migrate-from-3-4/) but we follow a lot of issues with the database that cannot pass the UPGRADE - 22.04.1 step…Then I tried to use the Export feature on the old one but it stays running for days without evolution, then I decided tu use centreon-clapi -e from command-line, and ther a very enormous file is generated (more than 50GB !!!) but it does not reach the end of the export and fails with that error message: A critical diagnostic event occurred in the memory device. Another IP is assigned to the central unit for communication with pollers.I don't understand where my problem comes from.

How to export "Services by host group" items?

Dear Community!I have been using Centreon for a while and we have been working on migrating our Centreon infrastructure to a new environment.It is important to note that, we are using a lot of “Services by host group” type of configurations.So while preparing for this migration activity, I tried to export the whole configuration (with checking all type of objects in the Export menu). When I checked the content of the export file, I did not find any services which are configured as “Services by host group”. I’m unable to create an export, which contains also the configuration also for services, which are assigned to host groups. Has anybody experienced the same with Centreon Community edition version 24.10.8 ? Thank You very much in advance for the support!

centreon vmware do NOT upgrade to 24.10.8, it will break you configs

Hello,If you are using  Centreon (in  Configuration > Connectors > Additional Configurations) to manage your Centreon VMware demon , do NOT upgrade to 24.10.8. The configuration manager is completely broken Lost on all the user/pass previously enteredImpossible to fix the config because of JS errorsUser and Password field unusable because all characters in every fields are replaced by stars (yes, even the users) The result will be non-working configuration for the demon and you will loose all the monitoring of the vcenters. The work around for me was to get the config JSON from a backup, restore it under another name,  and modify the /etc/sysconfig/centreon_vmware on every poller to force centreon_vmware use this file. Good luck.

Bonjour a tous, Je viens tout juste de mettre à jour mon Centreon de la version 22.04 à 24.10, et l’opération s’est bien déroulée. Les versions du central et des pollers sont à jour, tout comme le serveur de base de données, qui utilise désormais MariaDB 10.11.Cependant, je rencontre un souci d’affichage global de l’interface web. Il semble que Centreon n’arrive pas à charger correctement le thème, même après avoir vidé le cache de mon navigateur.Test fait en ingconito, meme resulta.Auriez-vous une piste ou une solution à me proposer, s’il vous plaît ?A savoir que je suis sur AlmaLinux 8.Merci d’avance pour votre aide.;)

service discovery no host visible

Hello,I’m currently experiencing an issue in the Service Discovery module of Centreon.When trying to scan services for a specific host, the search field should suggest the host as I start typing its name (after entering the first 3 letters, for instance). However, in my case, no suggestions appear, even though the host is properly configured in the system and enabled.🔍 Expected behavior:When typing the first letters of a host name (e.g., "Cen"), the host "Centreon-Server" should appear in the suggestion list.🐞 Observed behavior:No suggestion is shown, even though the host exists and is fully configured (status: enabled, correct poller, and template applied).📎 Attached screenshots: Host Configuration (Host “aaaaaa” exists and is enabled)     Service Discovery search box (typing “Centreon” returns nothing)     Could you please advise if this is a known issue or if there are specific requirements for the host to appear in the Service Discovery module?Thanks in advance for your help.

REST API v2 & curl

Hello,is anyone has successfully queried the REST API v2 using curl and a JSON payload with a GET request? I’m trying to get a list of hosts with a specific host template.
