Centreon Infra Monitoring

I am trying to do the followingi would like to establis a command like this:$USER1$/check_cluster --host -l $ARG1$ -w $ARG2$ -c $ARG3$ -d $HOSTSTATEID:'$ARG4$'$,$HOSTSTATEID:'$ARG5$'$,$HOSTSTATEID:'$ARG6$'$,$HOSTSTATEID:#$ARG7$'$ but as expected it won’t work. Is there any way to use a $ARGx$ inside the on-demand Macro : $HOSTSTATEID:hostname$ instead of the “hardcoded” Hostname which i do not want to have inside the command-definition? RegardsTimo

Hello,I am new to CENTREON.Could someone help me or explain how to monitor the presence/accessibility of three different URLs of our production environments (e.g., akpdev.mydomain.com, akpdev-test.mydomain.com, akpdev-param.mydomain.com) in a single model/service/host, etc.?I would also like to create the command for this and call it in a model or service in order to easily create alerts for these three environments for each of our clients, of which there are  about 250.I imagine I will need to create macros, command lines, templates, services, and then hosts. However, I'm not really sure how to create them, where to start, and how to make all of these features work together to achieve the desired results. PS: H’ve already ilstalled the plugin pack  “centreon-plugin-Applications-Protocol-Http”Thank you in advance for your answer.Sincerely,

Hello everyone,We are migrating our Centreon 21.04.20 version to the latest version 24.04.We built a new Debian server and a fresh install of Centreon, it is running correctly.Now that we are ready to migrate to this platform, we have the following error when importing the centreon_storage SQL export.Deadlock found when trying to get lock; try restarting transaction The export file is around 16G and the import to the mariadb is very slow. Did you have any ideas to solve this issue ?​​​

Hi Everyone,First time asking question here. We’re using a php template for email notification. and the issue is when if two or more CC recipient were added on host and service URL. We got a double qoutes “” on the cc part of the notification so its not sending to correct receipient. the php file is from https://github.com/mcinquin/centreon-notifications we just modify it. its working on Centreon 2.8.17 but its not working on Centreon 21.10.7. We just separate the emails by a comma on host and service URL.  Hope someone has an idea about my issue. 

Hi All, Need your inputs on below issue. We install the Oracle DB monitoring pack on Oracle Linux 9 poller. Hello everebody, I would like to find where are the files managing pop up alert and sounds alert where a host is down, i would like to personalize it, for example : change the sound for a specific host, or exclude a host_group from the sounds alerts. Thanks for your help ;)

Hi,New Centreon platform under Debian 12 + Centreon 24.04.Working last week in pre-production.Today, wanted to configure vCenter monitoring and done a apt update & apt upgarde -yCentreon web switched to 24.04.1 and done the web wizard (http://central/centreon/install/upgrade.php) but it is still on step 5 “Upgrade finished”.I’ve tried to clear my browser cache and symfony one :sudo -u www-data php /usr/share/centreon/bin/console cache:clearAny other idea ?

Dear community users,I have a central and a poller server, and try to do checks on my AS400. Everything seems to be correctly installed, according to the following : https://docs.centreon.com/pp/integrations/plugin-packs/procedures/operatingsystems-as400-connector/Running the command line on the central server, the requests are OK, but not from the poller server (cannot connect to localhost). This means that all the packages and services are installed and working on the central server.I tried to use either the central or the poller server by changing the "supervisor server", but none of them worked in the GUI.Can somebody help me please ?Regards,Jean

Hi, Auto discovery → scan does not work for some reason. When we specify the host name, Rule section appears as “none”  as seen in attached  picture. We already have “Auto Discovery” installed and this function was working good for long time. But for some reason it stopped working. We upgraded to the latest version but this did not help.Can you please help how we can debug this further and resolve ?  Thank you in advance

I'm attempting to obtain the authentication token for Centreon's REST API using the ARC client API. Currently, I'm running Centreon version 22.10 and referring to the API documentation (https://docs.centreon.com/docs/22.10/api/rest-api-v1/).I'm simply including my credentials in the body of my POST query in JSON format like this:{  "username": "user_name",  "password": "admin_passwd"}the url i used is 'https://local_domain/centreon/api/index.php?action=authenticate'However, I'm receiving a 'bad parameters' error response, which I'm unsure how to resolve. I've already checked the syntax using a JSON checker.I've also tried using Postman with the v2 API, but encountered the same error. Could anyone provide assistance?

Hello, I am trying to use the Netapp Ontap SNMP plugin by following this https://docs.centreon.com/pp/integrations/plugin-packs/procedures/hardware-storage-netapp-ontap-snmp/ .I am able to ping it but all the other services have an “Execute command failed” error and I can’t figure out where it comes from. I tried to configure a community on my Netapp as well but nothing changed.Thanks in advance for the help.

Hello everyone,I’m on Centreon 23.10.7 and on OpenID connect conf, I think that the scope part isn’t working.I put “openid email profile” in the scope but, in the logs during a connexion test I only see “openid” : Result, I only have “sub” claim and not user info like email to match with my centreon users entries.Maybe an issue with the version ?Thanks for your help !

What characters are allowed in a service name? Or which ones are forbidden?I haven't found anything on this subject in the documentation.Best regardsStéphane

Centreon 23.10 install via ovaSnmpv3 setted and tests via command line between 2 serveurs (centreon and snmpv3 agent) is functionning perfectly. Hi all, here is my issue :I’ve got an issue to define snmp-username in centreon, The error message is “Missing parameter Security Name, in the status of the message I can copy the command line with the options.I copied the command line and I noticed that there’s NO “security name parameter” in the command line.So, I ran manually the command line with the “security name” and everything ran perfectly.I checked in Centreon (configuration > services > services by hosts) → I notices that in the options (-snmpm-username-authpassphrase-privpassphrase-authprotocol-privprototol )are setted. But the command line I copied from Centreon did not include the security name. Could you please tell me why the command line sends by Centreon did not include the “Security Name” ?Thank you for your help. Kay
