CORS policy

My company has a Centreon service (network equipment monitoring for the entire company) hosted locally. The monitoring information is visible on a WEB page.I would like to retrieve some information (state of certain network equipment/WEB pages) to display it to all staff.This is where an API comes in, initially I made a "curl" request to retrieve an identification token in order to contact the API.In a second step, I made a request with the token to retrieve all the monitoring information in JSON format.So far, everything is working.Now I would like to "automate" this process by making it accessible on a WEB page.I am using javascript code (see below) to query my API but it is not working. The code seems good but it is blocking on the server side.  I was given a suggestion to add a line in the file "/opt/rh/httpd24/root/etc/httpd/conf.d/10-centreon.conf", but it made no difference :    Header  set X-Frame-Options: "ALLOW-FROM http://your.url.com/"I also looked into the meaning of CORS,

Create External BBDD with SQL

I am trying to implement HA, and I want the central server and central server 2 to store their data in an external, shared database.I have tried to make the connection to a SQL server and I get there but I get "MYSQL server has gone away",. How to handle stale process

What is the best practice to handle stale process from services?Most of my services have a 5 minutes polling, although some of them have their last check reaching hours.When I list process from centreon-engine they seem to be stuck even with max_execution_time set to 60sThese scripts are basically consulting large MIB tables which runs in 5 seconds average but for some reason they stack in the process pipeline. I’d like to schedule a script to cleanup those stuck process. Since I don’t want to mess with the system crontab, using a centreon service could be the best way to schedule it. How can I set the right permission to centreon-engine be killing these process though this script?

Netapp Restapi Quotas

Hello,Whe want to monitor quotas on our Netapp platform with plugin pack Netapp ontap restapi latest version (22.12.0).Whe find that the control does not return the entirety of quotas by vserver but just one vserver when whe use the filter-vserver=’’ or filter-vserver=’.*’. If whe indicate a vserver for filter-vserver, the quota informations for this vserver are well reported. Thanks for help.Have a good day.

Service templates inheritance BIG issue

Hi, I am migrating my monitoring configuration from NagiosCore and NagiosQL to Centreon, but I have a problem with the service templates with which I am quite desperate.Unlike with host templates (which you can add more than one template per host) in services, Centreon only lets you add one template.I have already seen that in Centreon this works using inheritance, but is there any other way to make it work by groups?As I said, I currently add to each service several templates which have an order that matters.I have a problem since for each line you see in the image below (these are all the possible combinations in my monitoring), I would have to create a lot of different "routes" duplicating templates.Let's see if I explain better with an example...If I want my template A to follow the following inheritance, A->B->C->D but then I want another service to follow the following inheritance A->E->C->D, with the Centreon inheritance system, I understand that I should creat

Old host still present

HP Ilo Rest API - monitor harddrive status

I need to monitor harddrive / storage  status. How is it done with “HP Ilo Rest API” plugin?The new Proliant Gen10 servers have MR Raid instead of Smart Array controller and my old iLO monitoring command “check_ilo2_health.pl” does not show the storage information.I verified with “HPE iLORest utility” that information is accessible by RestAPI for example by commandsselect Driveget

Bonjour,Nous avons usage du plugin QNAP pour la première fois mais rencontrons 2 problèmes :L’unité associé au service supervisant usage de la capacité mémoire est le GB, or nos remontés ont pour unité réel le TB/To=> Où pourrions-nous modifier cette unité associé par défaut ? Le service Hardware-Global qui a pour option --component='.*' semble nécessiter connaîte la MIB- Ai-je raison ? check_nrpe compatibility with older Linux OS and nrpe clients

Hello,When upgrading to centreon 20.10 (from an old 2.4.4), i noticed that check_nrpe (4.0.0) wasn’t compatible with older Linux OS having older nrpe clients.So i kept using the check_nrpe from the previous centreon and it works well.Now, i am looking to update to centreon 22.10 but i know i will have the same issue.The backward compatible options aren’t working.The error is still “CHECK_NRPE: (ssl_err != 5) Error - Could not complete SSL handshake wit <IP>” and here’s the log from a nrpe client 2.15 with debug on :nrpe[4852]: Connection from 10.5.236.21 port 2742nrpe[4852]: Host address is in allowed_hostsnrpe[4852]: Handling the connection...nrpe[4852]: Error: Could not complete SSL handshake. 1nrpe[4852]: Connection from ⚌⚌#027q closed Here’s was i have tested so far : (check_nrpe 4.1.0 was compiled from sources)check_nrpe from versions 4.*, when not working with older nrpe client, were tried with various options as -2, -3 & -L ALLHow are we supposed to monitor old OS with

ESXi and VCenter monitoring

Hello TeamI am configuring monitoring for ESXi and VCenter servers. I have a problem with one environment where  is vcenter in version 7.0 and esxi in version 6.5 and 7.0. Is VCenter 7.0 compatible with centreon 22.04 and it should work? i get error : UNKNOWN: Cannot get response (timeout received). With the other vcenter in version 6.5 i had no such problem.

Metrics in /var/lib/centreon/metrics: How is it calculated ?

Hello everybody ,I have a question for you .How are calculated metrics in /var/lib/centreon/metrics  In my CENTRAL folder each files are 76K or 224K for some of them .But for my remote serveur , each file are 2.1M and my folder is full . I want to purge them , but they come over and over .How to purge really ?

Host Templates plug-ins not displayed in list
