how do i parse extra aguments for check commands ?

once i play the OS-LINUX-Cpu-SNMP-custom check-command i got this messagebut when i play this command on backend they conplains that the argument --host is missing, but i don’t say how do i parse it on front end/usr/lib/centreon/plugins/centreon_linux_snmp.pl --plugin=os::linux::snmp::plugin --mode=cpu --help Output perl: warning: Setting locale failed. perl: warning: Please check that your locale settings: LANGUAGE = (unset), LC_ALL = (unset), LANG = "pt_BR.UTF-8" are supported and installed on your system. perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C").

API token timeout

Hi, During Network manipulations and installation our neighbor team is using API requests to force a check on a service/host, to set DOWNTIMEs…But their token token being valid just for 10 minutes they need to get a brand new almost for every new request. Is there a way to extend the validity of a token with Centreon ? Thanks in advance for your answer.  Farzana

Hello, so here I have 80 machines and 1045 services.I think I have a configuration problem, because my /var/lib/centreon/metric is 100G and the bdd 30g.With very low retention.host configuration :Service configuration : Is it normal to have so much data?Can you help ? Much appreciated.

SNMP Traps - Pending status persists

Hello,In order to test passive checks on my Centreon i have configured SNMP Trap for changing on the running configuration.Tthe switch i try to monitor is Cisco IOS Software, C2960 Software (C2960-LANBASEK9-M), Version 15.0(2)SE10a.I use the passive check OID : .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.43.2.0.2 that was already built in Centreon.But when i’m trying to test this OID my service, it still be on “pending”.My configuration receives the check because i can see on my logs this output :I have followed https://docs.centreon.com/fr/docs/20.04/monitoring/passive-monitoring/enable-snmp-traps and https://docs.centreon.com/fr/docs/monitoring/passive-monitoring/debug-snmp-traps-management to debug my configuration.Do you have any suggestions to resolve this problem ?Thanks a lot.

Centreon VM (21.10) redemarrage/recharge collecteur bloque à 0%

Bonjour à tous je viens de charger la VM de Centreon en version 21.10Config initiale faite (hostname, timezone etc) , je tente de redémarrer le poller mais celui-ci reste bloqué à 0%J’ai rechargé plusieurs fois la VM a neuf et à chaque fois j’obtiens le même résultat : poller refuse de fonctionner (il est au vert dans l’interface centreon mais ne fonctionne pas dans les faits puisque j’ai 2600 hosts qui restent “enabled” mais ne sont pas monitorés (importés en masse via clapi et fichier export csv) Une idée de ce que je devrais vérifier ?C’est quand même assez fou que ça dysfonctionne en étant tout beau tout frais…..?Merci d’avance pour votre aide, toute idée sera la bienvenue Bruno

Vertiv UPS plugin?

I was wondering if anyone has been able to monitor a Vertiv UPS.  I’m not seeing a plugin and I’ve tried the generic UPS plugin but none of the predefined services produced any data.I’ll gladly take any other advice on monitoring a UPS.  I’m looking for basics like on battery, load, etc.. Thanks in advance!

Debian Remote Poller - Execute Command Failed

Hello,I’ve recently brought up my first Debian remote poller and I’m running into an issue that appears to be related to the path of “check_icmp”.  My service is configured for this:/usr/lib64/nagios/plugins/check_icmp -H X.X.X.X -n 5 -w 200,20% -c 400,50% When I look at the poller in linux, I see that “check_icmp” is located in /usr/lib/nagios/plugins, NOT /usr/lib64.  Anyone with an idea on how to fix this?Thanks!

MongoDB plugin dependency problem on centreon 22.04 Alma Linux 8

Hi,I have 1 central and 3 pollers, all with CentOS 7.9 and Centreon 22.04.7I’m preparing the migration from CentOS 7.9 to AlmaLinux 8.7, same centreon version for now..For that, I will begin with poller upgrades. I have installed the first new alma poller ( OS+centreon 22.04 ). The poller is not registered at the moment. I always have a snapshot just in case.I have installed all centreon-plugins, except centreon-plugin-Applications-Databases-MongodbIf I want install this plugin, it will downgrade the dependancy perl-Exporter-Tiny, use by all others plugins.The version installed with centreon is:When I test to install mongdb plugin, and downgrade the dependancy, I have several errors when I try to do adnf update dnf update --nobestdnf update --best --allowerasingdnf update --nobest --allowerasingThe only thing that works is to exclude the packagednf update --exclude=perl-Exporter-Tiny*But I’m worried, why centreon installs a more recent version, then want to downgrade it for only 1 plug

SNMP Traps - Pending status persists and debug can receive the snmptrap data

Hi!I tested Centreon passive checks, and I saw the debug file have recevied the test snmp messages, but the service always pending statue. I guess “submit service” not working normalliy. because  /var/lib/centreon/centcore/ is empty and service could not recevied the statue update. please help me, thanks a lot!

Centreon Upgrado to 22.10

Debug bad formatted performance data

Hello,I see frequently ibd files growing on my DB du to bad formatted performance data collected (space added is the major issue).Searching thoose bad data is really painfull in broker logs.Is there any other way to identify easily thoose data? Thx

My company has a Centreon service (network equipment monitoring for the entire company) hosted locally. The monitoring information is visible on a WEB page.I would like to retrieve some information (state of certain network equipment/WEB pages) to display it to all staff.This is where an API comes in, initially I made a "curl" request to retrieve an identification token in order to contact the API.In a second step, I made a request with the token to retrieve all the monitoring information in JSON format.So far, everything is working.Now I would like to "automate" this process by making it accessible on a WEB page.I am using javascript code (see below) to query my API but it is not working. The code seems good but it is blocking on the server side.  I was given a suggestion to add a line in the file "/opt/rh/httpd24/root/etc/httpd/conf.d/10-centreon.conf", but it made no difference :    Header  set X-Frame-Options: "ALLOW-FROM http://your.url.com/"I also looked into the meaning of CORS,

Create External BBDD with SQL

I am trying to implement HA, and I want the central server and central server 2 to store their data in an external, shared database.I have tried to make the connection to a SQL server and I get there but I get "MYSQL server has gone away",. How to handle stale process

What is the best practice to handle stale process from services?Most of my services have a 5 minutes polling, although some of them have their last check reaching hours.When I list process from centreon-engine they seem to be stuck even with max_execution_time set to 60sThese scripts are basically consulting large MIB tables which runs in 5 seconds average but for some reason they stack in the process pipeline. I’d like to schedule a script to cleanup those stuck process. Since I don’t want to mess with the system crontab, using a centreon service could be the best way to schedule it. How can I set the right permission to centreon-engine be killing these process though this script?

Netapp Restapi Quotas

Hello,Whe want to monitor quotas on our Netapp platform with plugin pack Netapp ontap restapi latest version (22.12.0).Whe find that the control does not return the entirety of quotas by vserver but just one vserver when whe use the filter-vserver=’’ or filter-vserver=’.*’. If whe indicate a vserver for filter-vserver, the quota informations for this vserver are well reported. Thanks for help.Have a good day.

Service templates inheritance BIG issue

Hi, I am migrating my monitoring configuration from NagiosCore and NagiosQL to Centreon, but I have a problem with the service templates with which I am quite desperate.Unlike with host templates (which you can add more than one template per host) in services, Centreon only lets you add one template.I have already seen that in Centreon this works using inheritance, but is there any other way to make it work by groups?As I said, I currently add to each service several templates which have an order that matters.I have a problem since for each line you see in the image below (these are all the possible combinations in my monitoring), I would have to create a lot of different "routes" duplicating templates.Let's see if I explain better with an example...If I want my template A to follow the following inheritance, A->B->C->D but then I want another service to follow the following inheritance A->E->C->D, with the Centreon inheritance system, I understand that I should creat
