Récupération Données ESX

Bonjour,Je viens de configurer des ESX avec le Plugin VMware, la découverte de l’ESX s’est bien passée.Les Ressources ESX-Vm-Count et Esx-Health remontent sans soucis. Par contre les Esx-Memory, Esx-Cpu, Esx-Swap et Esx-Status restent en INCONNU.Y’a t’il quelque chose à activer côté Hôtes VMWARE ?Merci pour votre aide,Johann

nothing provides perl-VMware-vSphere

Centreon 23.04.0 on AlmaLinux 8 When running “dnf install centreon-plugin-Virtualization-VMWare-daemon” I get the following error:nothing provides perl-VMware-vSphere >= 5.1 needed by centreon-plugin-Virtualization-VMWare-daemon-3.2.5-20220816072422.el8.noarchVMware-vSphere-Perl-SDK-7.0.0-17698549.x86_64 is already installed. I cannot find any information on how to resolve this error.

Modbus strange behavior

Latency monitoring on 2 interfaces of the same router

Hello Community !2 interfaces of a CISCO router are configured with an IP address (Gi0/0/1 = 10.1.1.1 and Gi0/0/2 = 10.1.1.2).I’d like to monitor the latency to reach, with my Centreon poller, on both interfaces, Gi0/0/1 and Gi0/0/2.Do I have to create 2 hosts (because IP are differents), which is very host-consuming, or do you know any other solution to perform the measurement ?Thanks,

check event log with check_wmi_plus

Hi,I want to check for specific IDs in a windows server event log and raise a critical alert when there is at least one line with that event.I create this command $USER1$/check_wmi_plus.pl -H $HOSTADDRESS$ -A $WMIU$ -m checkeventlog -a Application -o 1 --inifile=/usr/lib/nagios/plugins/libexec/events.ini -4 $ARG1$ --warnings="*_Itemcount>0" --critical="*_Itemcount>=1"I have created a service attached to the host that I have to test but I have an ok result while there are 12 events.How to make the service critical when there is more than one event. Thank for your help

Synchronizing Netbox with Centreon

Hello Team, We use Netbox mainly as an inventory application to store all our equipment details.I would like to know if there is a way to synchronize the newly added equipment automatically to Centreon using API. My scenario;I add a device on Netbox with the name, IP, host category, etc.Use Netbox API to Sweep the device list and grep the latest device added on Netbox.Using the result above, we push the data to Centreon which then the later will add the device as HOST and then autodiscovery feature will add all the SERVICES automatically. Is that possible please?If yes, do you have such plugin available in Plugin Pack? Thanks.Regards,M.B

Check_traffic.sh not working after migration

Hello,After having migrated some plugins from an old version of centreon to a new updated installation, one plugin in particular does not want to work anymore.This one is named check_traffic.sh and is available at the following address: https://exchange.nagios.org/directory/Plugins/Network-Connections%2C-Stats-and-Bandwidth/check_traffic-2Esh/detailsThe error that appears is always : Unknown - Can not find data in the history data file. The file /var/tmp/check_traffic_**.*.*.***_*****__itnms.hist_dat_64 was deleted for a clean retry.(The check was modified to automatically delete the .hist_dat_64 file for a clean retry)However, this still does not work.I specify that data are well present in the file after re-creation I checked the path and file permissions but everything seems ok, I compared with my previous installation where it works but I don't see any difference.Could one of you assist me in solving this problem please? Thanks in advance

How is ldap protocol port detected?

Hello,I have changed from nagios to centreon-plugin-Applications-Protocol-Ldap to check for response time of an LDAP server. The nagios plugin allowed me to specify the port, the centreon plugin doesn't using the templates available to centreon web, but seems works. If I dont't specify the port when launching the command from the poller's cli, or specify the correct port like hostname:port, it works, but fails as expected if I specify a wrong port.So, does the port is automatically used by the server to answer when the check arrives? Or does the plugin checks several ports? Regards,Enrique

hallo!as title, is there a way to monitor microsoft RDS farm or citrix virtual apps and desktops farm via agent nsclient++? there isn’t a ready plugin, it’s a big absence in my opinion. do you have some experience to share?

Get DOWN events using clapi or rest api

Hello,is it possible  to get DOWN events using clapi or rest api? Every week I use the Event Logs to look for DOWN status and HARD ONLY type  during the last 7 days. Looking at the documentation I’m not able to find how/if I can use clapi or rest API for that. Regards,Enrique

Hello,There is possibilty to monitor only inqjury messages (or messages that waitings for answer) from AS400 server?I tried to configure command using filters (severity and ID) but its not enought for me.When i set severity, i still got a information messages (e.g. 200+ messages).I need to check only a messages that waitings for answer.

Change state (CRITICAL, OK) in term of data performance

Hi all,I want to test ETH via OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.8.XXX It’s work but state stay at OK while the ETH is UP (1) or DOWN (2). Performance data shown : 'value'=2;;0:2;; where the first “2” indicate the down status. How to change status to CRITICAL when the performance data show 2 ? I use centreon_generic_snmp.pl and this command to test this : $CENTREONPLUGINS$/centreon_generic_snmp.pl  --plugin=apps::protocols::snmp::plugin --mode=numeric-value --hostname=192.168.1.1 --snmp-community=snmp_community --snmp-version=1 --oid=1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.8.1 --warning=$_SERVICEWARNING$ --critical=$_SERVICECRITICAL$ $_SERVICEOPTIONS$ Thx for all.

Lost collected probes informations of poller after lost connection with central

If the central Centreon loses connection with the Poller due to a network failure, will the information collected by the probes will be lost or not? If so, there is no a specific configuration for the persistence or memory queue in order to avoid the loss of information until the connection is restored ?  Thanks for Help

CPU SNMP Can't get a single value on Ubuntu

HelloFor a few days now, all the check about CPU on my servers are at the status “Unknown” after snmp plugin does not return a single value. I tried to reset the snmp conf on server side, check the code in the plugins (pretty hard...) and nothing to do, al lthe status for CPU on Ubuntu servers (18, 20 and 22) are Unknown. I am running the last version of Centreon (22.04.12), running SNMP in version 2c on a private community. It happened after updating all my servers and I can tell the issue started after updating my servers, not the centreon plateform. Any help please !? thanks !!!

Hello,Do you know if it is possible to monitor the number of hosts and services monitored by Centreon?Several times while modifying services I made a mistake and services were deleted, if I'm not careful I might not even realize it.I would therefore like to have a graph on this information and be alerted below a certain threshold.Thanks

modifier un downtime (21.04.3)

Bonjour,J’ai ajouté un downtime à 3 machines qui sont sorties du parc pour arrêter les check (et en espérant qu’elles ne seraient plus en “critical” (j’aime quand tout est vert 😁).J’ai donc ajouté des downtime jusqu’en 2200, j’ai vu large (trop), mais après avoir appliqué la conf j’ai mon poller not active et databas updates not active (je n’ai qu’un central).Dans /var/log/centreon-broker/central-broker-master.log j’ai :[sql] [error] mysql_connection: could not store downtime:  Out of range value for column 'end_time' at row 1En regardant ici https://docs.centreon.com/fr/docs/alerts-notifications/downtimes/ je me suis dit qu’il suffisait que je supprime les downtime mais je ne trouve pas le  “Rendez-vous dans le menu Monitoring > Downtimes > Downtimes”Soit je suis cherche mal, ce qui n’est pas exclu, soit je n’ai pas ce menu en 21.04.3Une âme charitable aurait une autre solution ? Linux disk space performance data only showing used

I’m running the default linux snmp templace but I’m only getting the used performance data, I’m missing the total disk size. EDIT: I’m trying to include the command and output, but as soon as I do my post gets rejected with a 403 error.

how do i parse extra aguments for check commands ?

API token timeout

Hi, During Network manipulations and installation our neighbor team is using API requests to force a check on a service/host, to set DOWNTIMEs…But their token token being valid just for 10 minutes they need to get a brand new almost for every new request. Is there a way to extend the validity of a token with Centreon ? Thanks in advance for your answer.  Farzana

Hello, so here I have 80 machines and 1045 services.I think I have a configuration problem, because my /var/lib/centreon/metric is 100G and the bdd 30g.With very low retention.host configuration :Service configuration : Is it normal to have so much data?Can you help ? Much appreciated.
