central server at 23.10 and 24.04 poller

Everything seems to work but the HostGroups.  I’ve only got 3 hosts  on this new poller so far but non of the hosts show up in hostgroups pulldown on the Monitoring > status details > hosts > Hostgroup pulldown the hostgroup doesn’t even show up..   Now i can add a host from another group in it and then that host shows up  but not the three that are just for that host group. if i add one of those to another group it doesn’t show in that group either. are 23.10 central server and 24.04 poller compatible ?   <al>

Connecteur Centreon Linux SNMP option --force-64bits-counters positionnée par défaut dans le modèle livré

Bonjour,Suite à la mise à jour des plugins nombreuses sondes en unknown car l’option --force-64bits-counters a été ajoutée dans le modèle du pack.    --force-64bits-counters            Use this option to monitor a server/device that has more than 2            TB of RAM, the maximum size of a signed 32 bits integer. If you            omit it you'll get the remainder of the Euclidean division of            the actual value by 2 TB. NB: it cannot work with version 1 of            SNMP protocol. 64 bits counters are supported starting version            2c. Je ne sais pas si c’est censé fonctionner partout (j’imagine puisque cela a été activé par défaut ?) mais ce n’est pas le cas chez nous, en retirant l’option c’est OK. Pourtant nous sommes bien en version 2c.Avec l’option j’ai « UNKNOWN: SNMP GET Request: Cant get a single value. » sur un check : /usr/lib/centreon/plugins//centreon_linux_snmp.pl --plugin=os::linux::snmp::plugin --mode=memory

APIrest GLPI + Openticket

Bonjour à tous, Je cherche à configurer GLPI sur centreon via API pour créer des tickets directement via l’interface centreon.J’utilise pour cela le module Openticket.La version de mon centreon est en 24.04.6 et celui de mon GLPI est en 10.0.10.J’ai activé l’API sur GLPI et générer les deux tokens ( user et API )J’ai ensuite configuré une règle sur centreon la connexion est OK :  Cependant lorsque je souhaite créer un ticket en utilisant le widget Open ticket il m’est impossible d’en créer un comme si la liaison avec GLPI ne se faisait pas : Si vous pouvez m’aider svp , je bloque dessus depuis 2 jours et je n’arrive pas à solutionner le problème. Je vous remercie d’avance

Discovery of subnetwork > /24

It seems that I'm limited to discovering /24 subnetworks. When I try using /20 or /23 and increase the timeout (while keeping all other parameters the same), I don't get any results.Is it possible to discover larger subnetworks than /24 ? Thanks.

reverse high avaiability done by a " centreon expert "

hello,in the start of the year , an expert was mandated for our client to make his centreon clean . Right from the start , he make the high avaibility cluster on the qualification side ..He made it with mysql 1.3 instead of 1.5 ( for some reason the repository for mariadb 1.5 , install the 1.3 version). He should have stop here , the prerequisite of mysql 1.5 was not meet. but he did it anyway. He was let go before ending his work and didnt revert what he did. Today i cant upgrade , it ask me to upgrade mysql but i cant ( always the same not resolved issue with the repo ) . We try to use a save from all of the servers but the change where already in place , and we cant go on last year because we switch from centos to redhat on january. I cant revert the dnf install of the update. I tried to reverse the HA , but it dont work. How can i reverse the HA , to not be in cluster anymore like it was before , and reuse the DB that was in place before ( and with the good mysql version ) ? Thanks

View by host

Hi,The view by host is limited to 100 objects per page: Wrong number of servicesIt leads to a wrong number of services for host, as you can see in the image below: Right number of servicesThis is utterly wrong in my opinion.Moreover, I don’t understand why the the number of objects per page is limited to such a low maximum   of 100.Is the Javascript which handles the display is so CPU intensive that displaying more objects would be too much for a descent browser?!This is Centreon Web 23.10.16

Hi,I noticed that in 23.10.17 there is no more “Import/Export” entry in the configuration menu. I see the entry is also missing from the “Menu Access” ACL configuration page. This entry is present in 23.10.16. Has it been moved elsewhere?

Connection Issue Between My Central and Poller

Hello everyone,I have a connection issue between my central server and my poller that I can't seem to resolve.My central server is in my network, and my poller is in a different remote network. The connection from my central to my poller works on port 5556, but the connection from my poller to my central on port 5669 is not working.I have this message in my poller file /var/log/centreon-engine/centengine.log : [processing] [error] [1937] failover: global error: failover: 'central-module-master-output' cannot connect endpoint[tcp] [error] [1937] TCP: could not connect to PUBLIC_IP:5669 I also have these errors in the /var/log/centreon-gorgone/gorgoned.log file: Here are the open ports on my central: Here are the open ports on my poller: Would anyone be able to help me?

Installation Centreon MBI (Licence commerciale)

Bonjour,Nous utilisons Centreon 23.10.11 (Bientôt 24.04.XX), dans un environnement Redhat 8.Nous envisageons d’installer un nouveau serveur MBI (Centreon Bi Reporting Server) avec sa base de donnée Mariadb (Donc 1 seul nouveau server)J’aimerais avoir un retour d’expérience sur ceux qui ont déjà fait ça … et surtout:Avez vous rencontré des soucis lors de l’Ajout du serveur MBI dans votre infra de Prod existante ?Genre: Problème de crash de la base ou d’indispo du Central Web ..… ?A la base on m’avait conseillé de créer une nouvelle infra de POC identique à la Prod puis de relier le nouveau serveur MBI dessus … puis une fois validé:  brancher le serveur MBI sur l’infra existante…. mais tout ça me semble compliqué et trop long….Surtout que la Doc me semble bien faite : https://docs.centreon.com/fr/docs/reporting/installation/ Merci pour vos retours,Cdt

Restart of a poller and synchronization of the current downtimes

Hi,When a poller has just been restarted, both querying the API or looking at the UI, one can see there is no downtime for some particular objects. The fact is, there is a downtime actually, but it doesn’t appear before a few time (around a couple of minutes).When some external tools relay on the presence of a downtime to take some decision, restarting a poller may lead to some issue (and sometime a simple reload isn’t sufficient).I wonder if some other people have also experienced this behaviour, and if it could be possible for Centreon not to indicate the absence of a downtime before it is not fully updated (hence with a 100% reliability)?Sorry if I’m unclear, please ask for some clarification if this isn’t the case.

When i try to open centreon-map4 on my mac, the application close itself a few second after i try to open it.I try to Open directly with unix’s executable but i have this message error : Centreon-Map4[41685:2124814] CheckForInstalledJavaRuntimes: Please visit http://www.java.com for information on installing java. Another issue : Java is already install on my compturer.  please help, Kind Regards,

centreon engine different version issue

Hello,i have issue with update info from remote server to central server.i would like to know if it’s due to version of centengine (24.04.6) that is different of central 24.04.5. I can export the check from central to the remote sever and information are update correctrly on eachremote server interface but it’s failed like screenshot above on web interface on central? ps: i’ve installed the vm with the method of Unattended installation of a remote server and just notice for 2vm the version of centengine are differen than the central. If i need that all central and poller use same version, how update it fo the last version in my case to  24.04.6 ? Thank in advance

How to create tickets with Open-Tickets in command line

Hi,We are using Centreon Open Tickets (Version centreon-open-tickets-21.10.1-1).It has been configured with rules to create ticket on our Jira infra.Afiter follwowing this documentation : Integration Open-Tickets - Accueil DIS - Centreon - Wiki (vaudoise.ch)… we can now open a ticket manually  from the’Custom View’ page… this iw working Well. But now we would like that tickets are created automatically when a Centreon Services reaches it critical hard State.To do this, I need to configure a Notification Command : but its means that we must to know the syntax on how to create a ticket in command line.On our poller we installed this package:centreon-plugin-Notification-Centreon-Opentickets-Api-20221017-094659.el7.centos.noarchIt provides this plugin : ‘/usr/lib/centreon/plugins/centreon_notification_centreon_opentickets_api.pl’ The modes availables are .   close-host   close-service   open-host   open-service … So we should be able to create a ticket in command line with this plugin, but

Hello everyone,I’m encountering an issue with a custom notification script in Centreon, and I’m hoping someone here has seen this before or might have some ideas on how to resolve it.The Setup:I’m running a custom notification script that integrates Centreon with an OTRS system. The script sends a cURL request to the OTRS API to check if there is an existing open ticket before creating a new one. The script works perfectly when executed manually from the command line. It sends the request, gets a response from the API, and creates or acknowledges the ticket correctly. Remote poller not updated on db central broker issue?

Hello,I’ve got an issue and don’t know why the status of equipement on remote server is not update on the DB central.From Central:we can see status running yes on my remote server but the PID and last update is not updated… From the remote server:We can see status of the poller and see PID (30856)different than on the central (10342)All monitoring appears only on the web interface of the remote server and not also on the central... When i export the config poller from central, the status is restarted on the remote server as well but not updated on central…I suppected than there is a broker issue where all the communication seems failed from remote server to the central…but the connection is working :log of central-broker-master.log in remote server is not update… but log of remote server is updated with error: any ideas?thank you.

Les services disparaissent de MAP (24.04)

Bonjour,Je suis sur une infra en 24.04 (fresh install) et je rencontre un problème avec MAP et les services.Dans une MAP, je rajoute des hôtes, des services, des hostgroups et des servicegroups, jusque là, pas de soucis.Tout s’affiche comme il faut mais à un moment donnée, qui semble coïncider avec un export de configuration, les services disparaissent de la MAP (tout le reste fonctionne).Si je vais voir en base de données, je vois bien que les services sont toujours attribués à ma MAP mais ils ne s’affichent pas.Si je redémarre le service centreon-map-engine du serveur MAP, ils réapparaissent temporairement jusqu’au prochain export de configuration.J’ai beau reproduire l’erreur et regarder les différents logs que ce soit sur le Central ou le MAP, je ne vois pas d’erreurs particulières.Si vous avez des idées ….

Centreon 22.04.7 - Curves - Display Only The Legend - not running

Good morning,We noticed that under the Preformance Graphs, the "Display Only The Legend" function in the Curve Definition is not working.All other functions like color or output of values works fine. However, it is not possible to hide a line when the "Display Only The Legend" function is selected.Is there a solution or a workaround for this?Many greetingsMartin
