Script usage : how to hide credentials

Hello the community !Recently you helped me on the ‘Massive import’ topic, by the usage of a script to execute many changes on one action. I’ve used this solution and it works fine.I would like to improve the last line :/usr/share/centreon/script/delete_device_from_hostgroup.sh <user> <password> <hostgroup> <file>My objective is to hide <password>, for obvious security reasons. I’ve tried to use .bashrc file with an alias, but it didn’t work.Do you have an idea to improve this ?Thanks !

Import mib download

Hi,Imports a mib file in 21.04 centreon. Centreon reports success but I cannot find the oid in Configutation-> SNMP Traps. Trying to install and make Centreon NSClient++ usable

Hi all !I am trying to install and use Centreon NSClient++ and Webserver on a Windows Server 2019 with the help of the Documentation.But I tried every build founds on Github, I always end with the same issue, it seems that I am not able to connect and stay stuck on login page.The only element which changes is the icon next to log button, but I cannot browse tabs.Could someone tell me if he managed to install and use NSClient++ recently ?Thanks a lot

Base de données pleine

Bonjour, J’ai actuellement 4 pollers et un serveur Central et je supervise environ 2000 hôtes et 4500 services.Petite question concernant la base de données Centreon qui me donne du fil à retordre. Le répertoire /var/lib/mysql/centreon_storage occupe beaucoup de place et dedans, j’ai plein de fichiers *.ibd (pour la table data_bin) allant de 100 Mo à 1 Go. Est-ce que je peux supprimer à la main les fichiers .ibd les plus anciens avec un rm pour faire de la place ou est-ce qu’il y a une autre manière de procéder ? Version : 20.10.12 Merci d’avance !

How to check status of a host without using ping or host keep-alive check ?

Hi guys ive been using Host-keep-alive check for keeping my host status up as we do not have ping enabled, is there any alternative to check if the host is up and send notifications to users if the host goes DOWN.

I try to monitor certificates expiration with Centreon.I use the model App-Protocol-X509-Expiration-custom which give the command : /usr/lib/centreon/plugins//centreon_protocol_x509.pl --plugin=apps::protocols::x509::plugin --mode=validity --hostname=<ip> --port=443 --validity-mode=expiration --warning-date=60: --critical-date=30: but mode=validity is not valid a valid one--list-mode give only  certificate

Hello,I created a simple bash script and a verification command :/usr/lib/centreon/plugins/test2.sh For the test i tried :chmod 777 test2.shchown centreon:root test2.sh Manuelly the script works with centreon user but he doesn’t when i try by centeon gui.

IBM Datapower monitoring - anyone got a script to share

Hi,I have a need to monitor the health and capacity of some IBM Datapower Gateways. Looks like they support an SNMP poll interface.Doesn’t look like Centreon has a plugin for these devices.Wondering if anyone out there in Centreon land has already solved this and has a script they could share?Cheers

Bonjour à tous,Nous souhaitons installer la dernière version de Centreon (21.10.x) sur nos serveurs.Cependant notre contexte SI nous impose certaines contraintes.Pas d’accès à internet Installation de Centreon dans une arborescence précise (différente d’une installation classique) Serveur sous Red Hat 8.5Compte-tenu des contraintes, je suis parti sur une installation de Centreon à partir des sources au format tar.gz (car ce format me permet de customiser les chemins d’installation)J’ai suivi la documentation disponible sur le site ICI Dans un premier temps pour les prérequis, j’ai réussi à télécharger tous les packages systèmes nécessaires et les déposer manuellement sur mon serveur pour débuter l’installation. J’ai téléchargé les dernières versions tar.gz des packages “centreon-collect” & “centreon-web”J’ai commencé par l’installation de Centreon-Collect, mais comme préconisé dans la doc, j’utilise le script cmake.sh. Centreon-central Broker-Stat "UNKNOWN: Cannot decode json response: garbage after JSON object"

Install a remote server in a dmz

I don’t undeerstand in the documentation how to add a remote server in a dmz.The remote server can connect to internet but is not accessible from.When I use registerServerTopology.sh on the remote server, I have a 500 error.In the log on the central, the error is “no route to host”.Am I clear ?

Je ne retrouve pas mes hotes dans les ressources

Bonjour,J’ai créé plusieurs hotes win srv 2019 avec le plugin check-host-snmp-custom, ca check bien en CLI.J’ai donc deployé les services puis exporter la conf dans le collecteur avec aucune erreurs ( juste de warning sur les intervalles de notifications). Hors je ne retrouve pas mes hôtes ni services dans le status des ressources ni dans les rapports. J’ai vérifié le status des services suivant :systemctl status gorgonedsystemctl status cbdMême procédé a un restart sans que cela résolve le problème !A noté que c’est une nouvelle installation et a jours Si vous avez une petite idée je vous en remercie.
