Synchronizing Netbox with Centreon

Hello Team, We use Netbox mainly as an inventory application to store all our equipment details.I would like to know if there is a way to synchronize the newly added equipment automatically to Centreon using API. My scenario;I add a device on Netbox with the name, IP, host category, etc.Use Netbox API to Sweep the device list and grep the latest device added on Netbox.Using the result above, we push the data to Centreon which then the later will add the device as HOST and then autodiscovery feature will add all the SERVICES automatically. Is that possible please?If yes, do you have such plugin available in Plugin Pack? Thanks.Regards,M.B

HA cluster primary node doesn't cluster config or hosts with secondary node (or vice versa)

Hello everyone,We are currently trying to setup a centreon monitoring HA cluster on debian 11 and are currently trying it out in our test network. We installed 1 central server, 1 secondary and a poller/quorum deviceWe made the decision to install the HA feature described as in the official centreon documentation, unfortunately we ran in some trouble. The PCS cluster and all its resources look like they work correctly but the configuration of the primary node doesn’t get failed over, this means that in practice we have 2 different centreon installations instead of the clustered HA configuration that we want aka split brain.The secondary node does become the primary node but it doesn’t have any of the config or hosts that we added on the primary.We would really appreciate if any of guys could point us to the right direction.I’ll post some examples of what I mean below.Output of crm_mon -fr on node-a while node-a is also the master serverI added a test host on node-aI failed the cluster

Des services supprimés apparaissent toujours

Bonjour,j’ai supprimé des services d’hôtes mais je les vois toujours dans le statut des ressources.J’ai exporté la configuration des collecteurs plusieurs fois.Les compteurs de la page des ressources me montrent 52 services mais il y en a 140 affichés :Les 52 sont ceux des collecteurs et du Central. Les autres sont des services que j’ai supprimés et ils sont orphelins : ils n’ont pas de parent.J’ai aussi supprimés tous les fichiers cfg sur les pollers, mais rien n’y fait;Merci pour votre aide.Cordialement.Alain

Centreon DSM execute two checks at the same time into the same slot

Hello, I am using Centreon DSM and I noticed that sometimes DSM execute two check command to write two different traps (alert) into the same slot at the same time, therefore the second check overwrite the status of the first one. Any ideas why I am having this behavior ?Thank you.Best regards.

Centreon 22.04.01 - Service check results not visibles in web interface

Hello.Since the last updating of our centreon platform (IT-100, 22.04.1), some service checks are no longer visible in Ressources Status view. In addition, the number of services checked reported is not correct: 605 instead of 854.In “Configuration > Services > Services by host” all services are present and enabled.In centengine.log, I saw Warning and Critical check result not reported in web interface.Manual execution of check missing is ok.Disk space is ok.What could be the problem ?Best regards,Eric

Random operation of hosts

Good morningI have just installed and configured a collector to add it to centreon central and I encounter some problem Centreon version 21.10:-When I put the hosts on the collector it works half the time and when it doesn't work I get a message "(No output returned from plugin)" The equipment is correctly configured to accept the collector. When I put the host back on the central I have no problem.

Why quotes aren’t shown when command is displayed in the UI?

Hi,When the command is displayed in the service detail panel, simple quotes (and maybe some other characters) aren’t displayed. They’re present in the copied text though.If a user selects the command to copy it (instead of using the copy button), then pasts it in a poller’s terminal to execute the command manually, then it may not work.I don’t get the point here. Is it a bug or a bad UI design choice?

new created services not showing to certain user in centreon. Allowed to all resource ACL but still new created services not showing to normal user account. Its visible to Admin account but to normal user using View all resource cant view any new created service.

Adva FSP 3000 monitor optical signal

Hello,Im asking for ideas how to monitor a optical signal state from Adva FSP 3000.Now im using check_snmp, but there is one issue.When i set correct warning and critical tresholds i get lot of warnings about performance data.(part of log from /var/log/centreon-broker/central-broker-master.log)[perfdata] [error] invalid perfdata format in service:  equal sign not present or misplaced '@-0;-248: 'My tresholds: -w @-0:-40:-c=-248:As i found in documentation there is no possibility to remove perfdata, or remove those @ from it.Any ideas?

AlmaLinux compatibility for next Centreon versions

Hello,When we search for supported OS for the 22.10 release, AlmaLinux 8 is listed, but there is a remark about the next release (23.04):We do not recommend installing Centreon on CentOS 7 or RHEL/Oracle Linux 7. Indeed, as of Centreon 23.04, only EL 8/9 and Debian 11 will be supported. What about AlmaLinux 8? Will it be supported? We are planning to migrate all of our customers' Pollers to this OS so we wanted to make sure it is a good OS to migrate to :-)https://docs.centreon.com/docs/installation/compatibility/ Thank you!

advanced licence activation check ? / lost access to plugin pack

Hello,I’ve just subscribed a IT_250 license then I tried to activate it on my centreon 22.04.12 on Centos.the license file uploaded successfully and has the good rights in  /etc/centreon/license.d/but no licence information in Administration > Extensions > Managerthe plugin pack list is empty. i only have this link :How To - Install licenses – Centreon (not very usefull)  any ideas welcome….

Check_traffic.sh not working after migration

Hello,After having migrated some plugins from an old version of centreon to a new updated installation, one plugin in particular does not want to work anymore.This one is named check_traffic.sh and is available at the following address: https://exchange.nagios.org/directory/Plugins/Network-Connections%2C-Stats-and-Bandwidth/check_traffic-2Esh/detailsThe error that appears is always : Unknown - Can not find data in the history data file. The file /var/tmp/check_traffic_**.*.*.***_*****__itnms.hist_dat_64 was deleted for a clean retry.(The check was modified to automatically delete the .hist_dat_64 file for a clean retry)However, this still does not work.I specify that data are well present in the file after re-creation I checked the path and file permissions but everything seems ok, I compared with my previous installation where it works but I don't see any difference.Could one of you assist me in solving this problem please? Thanks in advance

Event-handler error : Command not allowed

Hello !I’m trying to configure Event Handler on Disk Services on my CENTREON. To do this, I :Created a bash script, placed in /var/spool/centreon/(test4.sh) chmod’ed the script to 777 (so it have all the permissions to be sure that it’s not a permission problems) Created in “Configuration > Notification > Commands”  my command :   Added this command to services and services-group by : Going into the service conf page Going to the “Data processing” TAB Putting “Event Handler Enabled” to “Yes” and adding the command into the “Event Handler” section e Exported the configuration on the poller Note : I’ve also tried simple commands such as “whoami” or “printf” but I still got the same error. I’ve also tried mooving the script to /var/lib/centreon-engine/, but again I get the same error... However, when I click on the “i” next to my event handler, I have the following error :   Command Line /var/spool/centreon/test4.sh Output Command not allowed

Hi, when I add new hosts to Centreon Central 22.10, they don't show up in monitoring.I have these errors in Central-broker-master, the rest of the Logs have no errors.Can someone help me please?sql: could not find index for service(1976, 5580) - maybe the poller with that service should be restarted

Automatique poller configuration

Hello,I want to fully automate the installation and registration of a poller on the central with Ansible.For RPMs or even transcribing the 'registerServerTopology.sh' script, this is no problem.I even managed to generate via a playbook the 'gorgon' configuration of the poller.On the other hand I cannot manage to transcribe the 'poller wizard' module of the interface. I noticed this was using an internal REST API, but I can't find any info on the subject.The objective of this playbook is to install, configure, and declare the poller without administrator intervention (among other things, restarting the gorgon service on the central and the poller)Thank you for your helpPhilippe

Hi,after upgrading Cronicle from 20.04.20 to 22.10.7 we are getting: Monitoring > Status Details > Services[Page deprecated] Please use the new page: Resources Statusthis notification on the top. But if we click to the Resources Status link the page has no results found. How can we fix this issue? Thank you and BR
