Centreon load distribution

hello, I am currently in version of Centreon v. 20.10.18I would like to setup a distribution management on the pollers, is there already existing code? I started to look if we could find the information concerning the activity of the pollers, but I find nothing satisfactory. Has anyone already implemented this type of operation?Thanks

Restart/Reload not working after fresh install

Hello,I have followed the tutorials to install Centreon 22.10 on RHEL8.7.Using packages | Centreon DocumentationWeb And Post Installation | Centreon DocumentationFirewall enabled, I applied the rules (Secure your platform | Centreon Documentation)SELinux disabled (too many problems with it)I have only registered the Central Server with the common Linux SNMP template.I noticed errors when exporting the configuration (chmod errors). Below are the default permissions on the folder /etc/centreon-engine/I changed them all by apache:centreon-engine then no more errors.After starting all the services as described in the tutorial, I registered the server and exported the configuration with the options “Move Export Files” and “Restart Monitoring Engine”. I’ve tried Reload and Restart. No errors but the host and its services are not monitored. I’ve noticed that the uptime of the service “centengine” is not reset. If I restart the service manually, I will see the host and its services in “Pending

Poller not running on new installation

Hello,I’m currently working on getting a Centreon installation set up for the first time, and have followed the documentation for installation on Almalinux. After set up I can’t seem to get the default central poller to start, however the icon in the top left shows as green.Any assistance on this would be greatly appreciated.

Debug bad formatted performance data

Hello,I see frequently ibd files growing on my DB du to bad formatted performance data collected (space added is the major issue).Searching thoose bad data is really painfull in broker logs.Is there any other way to identify easily thoose data? Thx

My company has a Centreon service (network equipment monitoring for the entire company) hosted locally. The monitoring information is visible on a WEB page.I would like to retrieve some information (state of certain network equipment/WEB pages) to display it to all staff.This is where an API comes in, initially I made a "curl" request to retrieve an identification token in order to contact the API.In a second step, I made a request with the token to retrieve all the monitoring information in JSON format.So far, everything is working.Now I would like to "automate" this process by making it accessible on a WEB page.I am using javascript code (see below) to query my API but it is not working. The code seems good but it is blocking on the server side.  I was given a suggestion to add a line in the file "/opt/rh/httpd24/root/etc/httpd/conf.d/10-centreon.conf", but it made no difference :    Header  set X-Frame-Options: "ALLOW-FROM http://your.url.com/"I also looked into the meaning of CORS,

Migrate 21.04 to 22.10

Hello ! I’m trying (my best) to migrate my Centreon 21.04.10 which I installed with the sources on debian (there was no packages for apt for debian back at that time) to a new server in the latest version using the packages but I can’t make it work.I don’t have external pollers, just a Central.I tried copying the databases and using the guide to import them (and start the upgrade process which go well) but the poller stop running the next day or if I restart it and I can’t make them start again. Si I tried to use clapi to export everything and import in the new server : the poller stopped running too. So I tried to import the clapi export without the config of the broker, poller, etc… Just the hosts, services, commands, timeperiods, users (by reseting their passwords to a longer one). I manualy edited the exported file in Notepad++ and removed the lines related to that, loaded the server back to a fresh state and imported the file. I can see the hosts in Hosts > Hosts, services, com

Ceph RestAPI plugin pack : download old rpm on poller

Hello,I activated the Ceph RestAPI pack plugin and installed the centreon-plugin-Applications-Ceph-Restapi.noarch rpm (version 20221215-102705.el8 available on the repository).I declared a new host on one of my pollers, and when I update the poller, the rpm centreon-plugin-Applications-Ceph-Restapi installed by Gorgone is in version 20220727-130028.el8.Why is this not the latest version available on th repository?Thank you(Centreon 22.10)

Monitoring graphs draw curves' peaks not with maximum Y-values

I have realized a strong effect on graph scales:On the web interface periodically measured mean values (e.g. INTERFACE_TRAFFIC / CPU Load ) are displayed with correct peaks (Y-values) only when specifying an observation time period of less than 6 ¾ hours (3645 minutes).Displayed maximum peaks shrink seriously (due to coarsening) the more the observed time period grows:1. 6 ½ hours:    668 mbit = 100 %2. 6 ¾ h hours: 569 mbit =   85 %3. 24 hours:      366 mbit =   56 %3. 1 week:           92 mbit =   14 %4. 1 month:         50 mbit =     7 %5. 1 year:            36 mbit =     5 %When checking for spare operating capacity, this can be quite deceptive.

Upgrade the Pollers from version 21.10 to version 22.04.

[English version in the next message]Salut,Il y a quelques mois j’ai mis à jour mes 4 pollers en version 21.10. Tous ont installé la 21.10 mais 2 d’entre eux sont restés bloqué à la dernière étape “Cleanup”. Comme la mise à jour avait l’air d’être quand même passé j’ai skip le cleanup sans trop y penser. Comme vous pouvez vous en douté j’ai maintenant des problème pour mettre à jour ces 2 pollers.Tout d’abord, je précise que la mise à jour du central et de mes autres pollers se sont bien passés, j’ai suivi la documentation. https://docs.centreon.com/docs/upgrade/upgrade-from-21-10/Pour mes 2 pollers à problèmes, j’ai ce retour quand j’exécute cette commande :yum install -y https://yum.centreon.com/standard/22.04/el7/stable/noarch/RPMS/centreon-release-22.04-3.el7.centos.noarch.rpmrésultat :Comme vous pouvez le voir sur la deuxième image, le poller bloque de nouveau sur le Cleanup, je suis obligé d’interrompre l’exécution. Hi,The network team asked me to monitor the BGP and the EIGRP of their routers, I found the BGP mode in the cisco standard plugin but not the EIGRP. So I check the other plugin but I couldn't find any plugin in the plugin pack manager who can monitor the EIGRP.Here are all the modes of cisco standard snmp: Does someone know if centreon can monitor the eigrp and if yes, how? Thank you in advance.

Event log page not working

Hello,I had a centreon 21.04 with event log page not working. I upgraded to 22.10 and noticed the bug is still here.I tried a fresh install with vmware ova and yet the bug persist.When you use the page /centreon/main.php?p=20301 it is not working at all. Filters using host name or service name or time ranges or non functionnal. All you can get is the list of all events not filtered, but when you click on next page, it ends up on blank page.The logs are here, you can see them on the Resources status page, but event log page is not working as intended. I made a video trying to explain this, if anyone has an idea. https://vimeo.com/781757064

Virtual metrics and Windows disk space plugin (NRPE) label

Hello, when I want to add a virtual metric to display the trend evolution of a disk space with metrics coming from Windows plugins and where this plugin (NRPE) generate disk space label like ‘C:/’ or ‘used_/’ are refused by the virtual metric config pageCentreon refuse to add the configuration for this virtual metrics. Create External BBDD with SQL

I am trying to implement HA, and I want the central server and central server 2 to store their data in an external, shared database.I have tried to make the connection to a SQL server and I get there but I get "MYSQL server has gone away",. How to handle stale process

What is the best practice to handle stale process from services?Most of my services have a 5 minutes polling, although some of them have their last check reaching hours.When I list process from centreon-engine they seem to be stuck even with max_execution_time set to 60sThese scripts are basically consulting large MIB tables which runs in 5 seconds average but for some reason they stack in the process pipeline. I’d like to schedule a script to cleanup those stuck process. Since I don’t want to mess with the system crontab, using a centreon service could be the best way to schedule it. How can I set the right permission to centreon-engine be killing these process though this script?
