Step By Step OS migration - Centreon Infra

Hi,We are currently running Centreon (V 22.04.7) on Centos 7.9 Linux serveurs, on a distributed platorm:1 serveur dedicated for the Frontend Web 3 Poller (Engine) servers 1 serveur for the Mariadb databaseWe would like to upgrade first centreon to 22.10.X on all environment (To have the lastest version).Once done and validated after few weeks: we woul like to migrate the operating system migration to RHEL 8, but step by step on (Begin with the database, then pollers then FrontEnd). My question is : do you think that différent versions on OS (Rhel8 / centos7) can co-exists ?:If we migrate only the database server to RHEL8 (and keep the others with Centos 7) Then a few weeks later : Migrate only one poller .. then another one  ...etc...(within a few days) A few week later : migrate the Frontend server.Thanks !

Search in list-view dos not work in Firefox

Hello, In the new version of Centraon MAP (22.10), when I create a new map and want to choose an image linked to it, I can have all the image displayed in the list : I have made the same test with Chrome and the problem is the same. Thanks, Laurent.

Update issue from repository

Hello, Iam on Centos7 and this morning i tried to update with yum update and i have this error :https://yum.centreon.com/standard/22.04/el7/stable/x86_64/RPMS/centreon-broker-storage-22.04.2-1.el7.x86_64.rpm: [Errno 14] HTTPS Error 404 - Not Found If i try to download package with a browser, Not Found error appear also.Is there an issue Centreon side ?Same issue without proxy. Same issue with direct internet access.

Problem with accent in the description string

Hello ! I have an error when reloading the collector : Error The description string for service 'Service-Appel de procédure distante (RPC)' on host 'SVR01WSUS2' contains one or more illegal characters.Cannot resolve service 'Service-Appel de procédure distante (RPC)' of host ‘MYHOST’or Error The description string for service 'Service-Service State Repository (StateRepository)' on host 'SVR01WSUS2' contains one or more illegal characters.Cannot resolve service 'Service-Service State Repository (StateRepository)' of host 'MYHOST' It’s a Windows 2022 server in French and i guess the problem is the database isn’t in UTF8.I found this https://mariadb.com/kb/en/setting-character-sets-and-collations/ but it looks a bit difficult as i don’t have SQL experience and I don’t want to break everything … I tried changing the name manually but “name” and “description” aren’t the same, I guess. the only thing that does something is deactivating this service Any chance you guys have an easyish solut

The old style rrd graphs

Hi Watch community, We upgrading from Centreon v2.4.2 to Centreon v22.10.We like very much the old school style rrd graphs (see attached comparison).1.OLD 2.NEW Is that possible to bring back the rdd graphs like in item no. 1 ?Kind of parameter , settings ,  checkbox  that can revert to produce like in item no. 1. Thanks

No ¨Plugins Packs found'

Hello, i have recently installed Centreon 22.10 on Debian 11I wanna use plugins pack but i have a problem.My Debian 11 doesnt have no access to internetSo i use a private repository to download all plugins packs packages (.deb)After install all packages, they don’t appear in Plugins packs manager and in Host check options.Do i need an offline licence for them to appear ?ps: sorry for my bad english

Install Centreon NSClient++ on WS2019 and 2016

Hello trying to install NSClient++ on my WS 2019 and 2016 but nothing, a just have a commande prompt for couple of minute and some error “UNKNOW : Need to specify ‘--plugin’ option.”I try it with silent install but same thing If anyone has an idea, thank you

Centreon Monitoring View shows not hosts

Hello,after a shutdown and reboot. Almost all hosts are not shown in the Host-View. in the configuration view, still all hosts exists with their services.Everything ist activated.even in Map view, all hosts are shown and ping checks are running. No differences between shown and not shown host to find.Does some have the issue? How to get back to all hosts shown in Monitoring view.

Alert uptime

Hello, I’ve tried to make a warning-alert when a device has been rebooted less than one hour ago but when I want to configure it, it alerts me when it’s up than MORE than an hour. I’ve something like that and I’ve try few other solutions :$CENTREONPLUGINS$/centreon_windows_snmp.pl --plugin os::windows::snmp::plugin --mode=uptime --hostname=$HOSTADDRESS$ --snmp-community=$_HOSTSNMPCOMMUNITY$ --snmp-version=$_HOSTSNMPVERSION$ --snmp-timeout=5 --snmp-retries=0 --snmp-force-getnext --unit=s --warning-uptime=3600 --verbose Do you have any idea ? Thanks and have a nice day.

Display issue on Resources Status page

Hi,I have a strange display issue. I already opened a ticket to the support but I wonder if I’m the only one to get this: Version is 22.10.4-1. I know there is a 22.10.5-2 available, I’ll make the update soon. But anyway I haven’t seen anything regarding display issue in the release note.I have another example: (service name is “OS-Linux-Disk-/”)I realize that it looks like that’s the missing icon that breaks the display… I’ll add the missing icon to see if it makes it better.

Difference between hosts table and host table

Hello, Looking at the host and hosts tables I see that many of the hosts that are no longer working and have been deleted are still in the host table. The same thing happens at the service and services tables.This is normal? Best regards

Centreon not working after installation

Hi,I have installed Centreon on a fresh Debian 11 server following the instructions in the official documentation .After all steps done, I am not able to connect the server, I am getting this page :Each time I am trying to access Centreon, I found theses messages in /var/log/apache2/error.log :After many searches, I don’t find what is wrong.I have also build up another fresh Debian 11 server, unfortunately with the same result.Do you know what I could do to solve this issue ?Thank you.

MongoDB plugin dependency problem on centreon 22.04 Alma Linux 8

Hi,I have 1 central and 3 pollers, all with CentOS 7.9 and Centreon 22.04.7I’m preparing the migration from CentOS 7.9 to AlmaLinux 8.7, same centreon version for now..For that, I will begin with poller upgrades. I have installed the first new alma poller ( OS+centreon 22.04 ). The poller is not registered at the moment. I always have a snapshot just in case.I have installed all centreon-plugins, except centreon-plugin-Applications-Databases-MongodbIf I want install this plugin, it will downgrade the dependancy perl-Exporter-Tiny, use by all others plugins.The version installed with centreon is:When I test to install mongdb plugin, and downgrade the dependancy, I have several errors when I try to do adnf update dnf update --nobestdnf update --best --allowerasingdnf update --nobest --allowerasingThe only thing that works is to exclude the packagednf update --exclude=perl-Exporter-Tiny*But I’m worried, why centreon installs a more recent version, then want to downgrade it for only 1 plug

Export configuration menu not working, legacy menu working no errors

Hello, Can’t use the top menu to export configuration, first it was permission issue on files I fixed them using :chown apache:centreon-engine /etc/centreon-engine/*chown apache:centreon-broker /etc/centreon-broker/* But still, unable to use this menu.I made a video showing this : https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/781758953Problem on a 21.04 upgraded to 22.10 and on a fresh install from OVA (vmware) 22.10

Graph has no data on Centreon v. 22.10.4

I have a fresh installed of Centreon v. 22.10.4 but all the graph are empty. I have checked the central-rrd-master log and rrd file is being updated but no data is showing on the graph. Centreon 22.10.4 clapi import ldap error

Hello,When i want to import my ldap configuration via clapi in the new centreon 22.10.4, i have a bug (ok in Centreon 22.10.0 and Centreon 22.04.0)For the line: User filtre: LDAP;SETPARAM;IPA_TOTO;user_filter;(&(uid=%s)(objectClass=inetOrgPerson));group_filter: LDAP;SETPARAM;IPA_TOTO;group_filter;(&(cn=%s)(objectClass=GroupOfNames)); When i import this configuration, in the GUI i have:User filter: (&ampGroup filter: (&amp(view attachment)Centreon 22.10.0 Centreon 22.10.4How i do protect the 2 values during import ?Thank you

SNMP V3 setting Security levels, procotols and passphrases in Centreon web interface

The web interface is a little basic when comparing to zabbix for example.What are the options to set the following for SNMP V3?Security name, Security level, auth protocol auth passphrase, priv protocol and priv passphraseCan this be done in centreon? There is not a lot about it in the docs.

Hosts and Services display 0 servers in GUI

I’ve imported centreon and centreon_storage from my RHEL7  server to a new RHEL8 server  configured with  Centreon 21.04. problems  - the GUI does not display any HOSTS or SERVICES = “0” but my poller is running  - if I export the poller  (Move/Restart/Post), The Console displays the progress  at 0%. Any ideas where I should look to fix this?Jacques

Plugin packs release version

Hi,Although I upgraded Centreon Web from 22.04 to 22.10, the release of the plugin packs is still 22.04 (package centreon-plugin-packs-release-22.04-3.el8.noarch).Why is it not automatically upgraded?Maybe I missed a step in the upgrade process, but I did all what is written here: https://docs.centreon.com/docs/upgrade/upgrade-from-22-04/.Can you tell me how to proceed? (or give a link to right documentation). I think I know how to proceed but I prefer to ask first.

Probleme avec le fuseau horaire

Bonjour,J’ai un problème depuis un moment avec mon serveur Centreon.Lorsque je veux accéder à centreon web je tombe sur la pas Dependency check up qui me dit de définir le fuseau horaire par défault dans le fichier php.iniC’est ce que j’ai fait mais malheureusement cela n’a rien changer et je reste bloquer pour info, je suis sur une vm Debian 11 J’attend d’avoir vos réponses d’expert

Hi,Is there any reason why the sources (tar.gz, srpm) for Centreon 22.10 (Engine, Broker, ect) are not listed on the official website nor Github?Taking into account this context, how to install Centreon 22.10 from sources?Thank you.
