Centreon Infra Monitoring

Hello, We use the centreon vmware plugin for years now.It works nice with our vcenter 6.5 and our 16 esxi  Here’s the centreon_vmware.pm file %centreon_vmware_config = ( port => 5701, vsphere_server => {            'vcsa' => {'url' => 'https://vcenter 6 ip/sdk',                                     'username' => 'username',                                     'password' => 'pwd'},            'vcsa7' => {'url' => 'https://vcenter 7 ip/sdk',                                     'username' => 'username',                                     'password' => 'pwd'},                        });1; I so did add the vcsa7 entry, then added the same permissions on the vcenter 7 than in the 6 to monitor our new vcenter with the new esxi’s in it But, you see me coming 🙂 it doesn’t workI tried to add an esxi by duplicate an actual one, the changing just vcsa by vcsa7 and i get a UNKNOWN: Container connection problem Any idea about this? What can i check here? Thank you

Hello, I was wondering if it was possible to add another admin on the web interface without having to use the web interface ? Like do i add it from the database ?As my alias is saying, i am totally new to centreon so i really hope you can help me. Thank you

Hey :DI started a custom view on Centreon, and created a ‘Servers’ hostgroup with a lot of hosts in it.But when I want to create an Host Monitoring widget and when I filter with the Servers hostgroup, the list is empty. It’s not working for any hostgroup. When no hostgroup is provided, it’s working fine and showing the first 30 hosts (no hostgroup).Do you have any idea why is it not working ?Thanks :D Hostrgoups listWidget configurationWidget after applying the hostgroup filter 

i want to use Host Discovery.All is installed.I Created a SNMP Agent Task, start the task immendiately.But - nothing.  Hello, I’m trying to monitor two esxi, but I’ve got an error “UNKNOWN: Cannot find 'HostSystem' object”.When I change the ESXI2(172.16.250.6) to the first in the centreon_vmware.pm config the ESX is monitored, but when I put the ESXi2 on second in this configuration file this is the ESXI2 that is monitored and not the first one, I want to monitor both esxi.Esxi 2 is placed in second in centreon_vmware.pm config: So the ESXI 2 is monitored but not the first ESX:: Service centreon_vmware.pm status: When ESXI 2 is place on first: The ESXi 2 is not monitored this time and its the first ESX that is monitored:%centreon_vmware_config = (    vsphere_server => {        default => {            url => 'https://172.16.250.6/sdk',            username => 'root',            password => 'xxx'                },    },          vsphere_server => {                default => {                    url => 'https://172.16.250.3/sdk',                    username => 'root',           

It appears that if a service is setup as passive and volatile that if a state change occurs, notifications still go out.  The reset of the service does not. My passive check is using NSCA for ingestion. Reoccuring downtime does work but was hoping to use Time periods

Hi team, I installed Centreon 21.10 from ISO (CentOS) and all the installation is ok.But when I tried to connect to the web interface for the first time, I got this error message: Invalid credentials I’m sure to use the right password defined at the step 5 “Admin information. How to reset this password ? Thank you

En effet, une mise à jour de Centreon était à réaliser, pour l’étape 1 j’ai bien fait un ‘backup’ de la base de données (en suivant la documentation de Centreon), et arrivé à l’étape 2 tout était en ‘loaded’ vert, mais quand je fais suivant il ne se passe rien. J’ai recommencé les manips à chaque et à chaque fois c’est la même chose, auriez-vous une solution ?Je vous remercie d’avance.

Hello TeamMy SMTP server accepts and forwards only mail from one domain @mydoamain.com. By default centreon sends mail notifications from domain @centreon.com. How and where to change this setting to change from @centreon.com to @mydomain.com ?

Hello, In version 21.10, we use the "centreon_token" to authenticate ourselves and perform curl commands to automate the configuration.In 22.04, centreon_token is no longer available. Hello ! I’m configuring the dependence settings for my Centreon system. And i have encountered a problem which block me from getting what i want to achieve. Here is a global view of my situation :I’ve set up a Centreon system consisted of 1 main server and 1 poller. The main server supervises the whole central LAN including at least some linux servers. The poller supervises everything outside of the central LAN, basicly remote LANs with some linux servers inside, and routers/ peplinks interconnecting remote LANs to the central one. What i want to do is to set up a chaine of dependency outside of the central LAN, more specifically, a chain such as :poller (inside the central LAN) => router A => peplink B => linux server C (inside a remote LAN)So when peplink B or router A is down, i wish that no checks nor notifications of C will be performed. The problem is, some checks (RAM, CPU, Disk...) of server C is arranged in a service by group manner, as i have a large group of linux s

Hello Community,Since many year we could see Connector about Perl, SSH, VMware and most recently AS400.By concept a connector improve the use of plugins by a better forking process maybe, participate to reduce the load of poller, better consumpation of RAM, a better usage of the API requested, etc..The connector for VMware who is called daemon is mandatory, for the AS400 same thing.About the Perl and SSH, there is a person we implement this connector and saw the difference, the reduction of load and others ?Is it a way to reduce the load of a poller ?I don't see any benchmark about that, so i ask this question.Regards,Greg
