Centreon Infra Monitoring

Hello!i’m using “network::cisco::standard::snmp::plugin” plugin to monitor various performance metrics of my cisco switches.By default it checks all interfaces and i would like to filter out some of the less usefull interfaces, for example i would like to filter out all the interfaces that are in a down state (disconnetcted state, as the switch says).From the --help command i’ve noticed a couple of options that could help me:--check-metrics            If the expression is true, metrics are checked (Default:            '%{opstatus} eq "up"').This seems to be the options that i’m looking for but it does not seem to work as i expected, it looks like all the perfomance data are still showing up and it is instead simply not triggering any thresholds for these interfaces.--filter-perfdata-advThis flter could work by filtering all the interfaces that have 0 as traffic, however in some cases some interfaces are not down and but still making 0 traffic and this could be a problem.What do you thi

After following the upgrade procedure, i struggled and found some “solutions’ on internet, but after successfully upgrading my server it gives me this errorAnd when i check /var/log/httpd/error_log What should i do now ? any possible reasons ?

Hi.I installed centreon on 23.10. Following the documentation, I added a Linux Host (Alma Linux Distro).But I cannot get all services except the ping service. Please help.  

Hello, Now centreon is working for me so i configure all hosts and services and more.But when i create a Host or Service for host and i export the configuration or relaod the collector. I need to reboot centreon to actualize and host/services are available or not in my ressources view.I need to see my host/services just after create and reload the collector, if reboot are needed all time… it’s complicate Thanks,

Does Centreon support receiving SNMP-INFORMS?

I am trying the new version 23.10 and I have a problem with the graphs in the resource status view.When I load a graph there I get this. same graph in performance same graph in the “decrapated view”It happened with all the services I tested (>1000).

I am following the official centron manual: https://docs.centreon.com/docs/installation/installation-of-a-poller/using-packages/ In step 3 when converting the server to a poller it fails with the following error: ERROR - http://x.x.x.x: {"message": "No parent platform was found for : 'Poller'@''x.x.x.x.x"}If I perform this step in a local environment it works perfectly.The problem is when I try to do it in different networks.Any ideas?Can you help me?

I am trying to connect a poller to a central server and I am having problems.First of all I have to set the -insecure flag because otherwise it tells me that it cannot connect to the central server. I guess it is because it is a self-signed certificate, although on the web I get that "the certificate is valid and signed by an authorizing entity". I get the error:ERROR - https://ip_central:443: {"message": "No parent platform was found for : 'POLL01'@'local_ip'"}I have checked with telnet to the central server and port 443 that it can connect. I also have gorgoned and the other services active in the poller.Any idea what it could be?Thanks!!

Hi all,I installed Centreon 23.10 on a fresh Alma Linux 9 VM, but I can't find any predefined templates or check commands in Centreon GUIThe server has direct internet access without requiring a proxy configuration.I installed plugins using the command "dnf install centreon-plugin-*" but I still don't see anything on the web interface.Does anyone have an idea on how to resolve this issue?Can you confirm if I should see default templates and commands, as was the case in older Centreon versions?Thanks ! 

Hi, i am having a bit of a problème here i have been trying to send myself mail about hosts and services states.For now i receive on my mail account the hosts state for 1 of my model host cause i configure it this way for a test.So my question is how can i do the same for my services check how can i setup a global way to notify my service like i activate notification on my host model.Thank you for you reponse. 

As the integer translation is not working for us properly I need to substitute some numbers for integers at the ouput of a SNMP trap. I’written this expression but I only achieve to translate 1. for locked but not if it is another number.s/1\./locked/g;s/2\./holdover/g;s/3\./relock/g;s/0\./unlocked/g someone knows the good regexp?  Thankyou

When using some German or Italian systems the service names can contain some special language chars. The plugin is working fine because the value receiving from SNMP is UTF-8 decoded (when you don't use --source-encoding UTF-8 is the standard).The problem is when use a filter to filter only one specific service the filter will not be decoded. I don't know if this is normal, but the services to which SNMP traps are connected remain pending until the traps are sent from the device. I have triggered the traps manually. After that everything works perfectly, the services go into the critical state and then into the OK state and stay there until a trap is sent again.

Hello, I have activated snmp traps on the centreon but I need a command and I don't have the slightest idea what to put.I put the manufacturer's MIB and the snmp traps were created, I associated the traps with my hosts but I have to put a verification command. could someone help me? To whom it may concern:We are currently running on version 20.10.7 of Centreon. I realize that we need to update/migrate to a newer version, but I wanted to know if anyone had any documentation or information on the requirements to activate the NTA (NetFlow Traffic Analyser) module for Centreon.I have scoured the web and can’t find anything in regard to the installation and configuration process.Thanks in advance.

Hello,  I’m working on an issue with map server, map can’t communicate with the broker. Actually, when I start the service centreon-map (21.10) I have all my map, but I have a single update at the start for status and the message bellow in the centreon map logs (TLS is unable) : com.centreon.studio.map.server.business.broker.bbdo.io.exception.BrokerReadException: [BBDO] Empty stream (len=-1)My configuration seems fine because the graphs are up-to-date, I can edit map, it’s just the status, I have no data after the start. Anybody already run into to issue ? Thank you very much for your help.  Regards,
