Centreon Infra Monitoring

Hello,I’m using Centreon free with centreon_cisco_standard_snmp. Is there a way I can monitor a specific port that should always be up? For example, once it goes down for whatever reason send an alert. 

Hi,after upgrading Cronicle from 20.04.20 to 22.10.7 we are getting: Monitoring > Status Details > Services[Page deprecated] Please use the new page: Resources Statusthis notification on the top. But if we click to the Resources Status link the page has no results found. How can we fix this issue? Thank you and BR

Hello, There are widgets such as Live Top 10 CPU Usage and Live Top 10 Memory Usage.But I can’t find Live Top 10 Storage Usage to display top 10 disk usage of my servers. Is it existing or will it be soon ? Thanks and have a nice day !

Hi,I have a service with the HOSTSNMPEXTRAOPTIONS protected.In the service details I get this : I suspect this is a bug. We should be able to see a part of the executed command.The command (which is a command definition provided in a plugin pack) is defined as :  $CENTREONPLUGINS$/centreon_generic_snmp.pl --plugin=apps::protocols::snmp::plugin --mode=numeric-value --hostname=$HOSTADDRESS$ --snmp-community='$_HOSTSNMPCOMMUNITY$' --snmp-version=$_HOSTSNMPVERSION$ $_HOSTSNMPEXTRAOPTIONS$ --oid='$_SERVICEOID$' --format='$_SERVICEFORMAT$' --warning=$_SERVICEWARNING$ --critical=$_SERVICECRITICAL$ $_SERVICEEXTRAOPTIONS$This is a problem which is present since a lot of time (at least from 18.04). Hello,our problem is that after changing the password in AD, the synchronization does not work. The only way to make the new password work is to delete and re-import the user. Centreon latest version.

Hi,I’m running a centreon server with 2 remote pollers,each poller is installed on a different Network and we have a FW between them.I was able to configure one of the pollers without any issue but the second one doesn’t come online.I can see the master server is trying to communicate on port 5556 with the poller but its not able to communicate with the poller (I tried to telnet the port without any problem from the master server).I also checked the /etc/centreon-engine and /centreon-broker and they are missing all the needed poller configuration files.I also noticed the poller doesnt listen on port 5669 even when centengine process is running, I also verified it loaded the broker module.It looks like the master server is unable to copy the configuration files to the poller.is there a way to troubleshoot that?

Hello,I have changed from nagios to centreon-plugin-Applications-Protocol-Ldap to check for response time of an LDAP server. The nagios plugin allowed me to specify the port, the centreon plugin doesn't using the templates available to centreon web, but seems works. If I dont't specify the port when launching the command from the poller's cli, or specify the correct port like hostname:port, it works, but fails as expected if I specify a wrong port.So, does the port is automatically used by the server to answer when the check arrives? Or does the plugin checks several ports? Regards,Enrique

Bonjour,Nous essayons de mettre en place la supervision de performance windows avec  "Perfmon" en utilisant le plugin check_NRPE afin d’avoir dans centreon des graphs ressemblant à cela: Suite à la tentative de mise en place de tout cela j’ai 2 problèmes: 1- Du coté Centreon web, je n’ai pas de remonté de graph :En cliquant sur l’icone graph j’ai No Data available For this Period alors que les données de performance sont bien récupérées en bas à droite :   2- Les machines étant en Français les compteurs de performance contiennent des caractères spéciaux  (é, ', ) que Centreon n'arrive pas a interprété :  Le script porwershell est bien fonctionnel : Par contre ça commence à se dégrader sur le poller : Je vous remercie d'avance pour votre assistance.Cordialement,Ismaël

centreon 22.10.7unable to cancel a realtime downtime via web application or CLAPI when there is other scheduled for the same service.the command file is generated and processed in centcore pipeline lib directory although the centcore daemon is unable to remove the downtimes with no errors reported

 Hello,we want to use Centreon DSM on our environment and for now we are testing it, however, for the first time it seems working well until we acknowledged a service to free a slot, the slots has been freed but when we generate another trap, the alert doesn’t show up on the interface, and when we checked the database we found the trap already stored on mod_dsm_cache table which mean the dsm_client did his job. I have to mention that another entry where found on mod_dsm_lock.so after some investigation, I tried to change clean_locks_time and clean_locks_keep_stored option in centreon_dsmd.pm file from 3600 seconds to 5 seconds and it’s working. (actually when I made the change in the configuation file, it didn’t work so I edited the script file directly and it worked). My questions are:1- What is the purpose of these two options  ( clean_locks_time and clean_locks_keep_stored) ? and what are the effects of my changes on the monitoring ?2- How mod_dsm_cache  and mod_dsm_lock works ? What are the Pre-requisites? Do you plan to publish a full documentation about how to install a poller from source? Here I share the list of all actions tried and all the errors encountered (so far): The first approach is to look for the official documentation (https://docs.centreon.com/). However, no information is provided about how to install a poller from source. The only process available explains how to install a poller using packages. Hi, Everyone,Hi, we have several cisco devices in our environment and those are configured as vrrp for a redundancy.So that we need to minitor its status change by Centreon.But we do not know of how to implement the setting Centreon to minitor VRRP status change, if there are any status change activities has occurred.By the way, We have implemented Basic mibs set of Cisco router and has implemnted an extended mibs as KEEPALIVED-MIB to Centreon. therefore,we thought of implementation necessary MIBS are stored to Centreon to check the VRRP status from OIDs for VRRP status changes.So my question here is if anyone in this forum could got the way to configure the check command for VRRP status change in Centreon, Please share the configuration for check VRRP.Best Regards,

Hi !I am trying to monitor Poly Studio X50 and X30 devices but it doesn’t seems like there are any plugin pack available for these devices. Furthermore, the one available are for Poly RealPresense RPRM, but the RealPresence solution will not be supported anymore as of June 2023 and will be replaced by Poly Lens.As anyone tried to use Poly Lens with the RealPresence plugin ? Is there a plugin available that would be adapted to my problem ? Thank you !Kuroe

Hello,I have migrated to the newest version of map and I can no longer display an extended Output on map with the widget Output.When using #statusOutput##extendedOutput#in the widget, the #extendedOutput# will be replaced by NA.Did someone experience the same behavior ?

I have installed respected plugin pack for this in centreon server  for this location ( /usr/lib64/nagios/plugin) and I have updated the slack hook url and api key and manuall tried with the command its triggered to slack channel and configured in caommds > notfication option slack_host_notify and slack_service_notiy also verified the parameter monitorng alson in same path location and attached the notification contact user but still i am not getting a notification in slack channel
