Delay a service status going critical or warning

Is there a way to set a service check that it delays making the status go critical or warning until it has performed all the retry checks?We are using the VMware vCenter connectors and one check that is performed is to report VMs where VMware Tools is not running. Unfortunately this does not take into account that during a VM start-up or reboot that VMware Tools is correctly not running for a short time - thankfully, the check does take into account if the VM is shut down so they don’t go critical if the VM is switched off. We have 500 VDI workstations which are regularly starting up or being rebooted, and having these all go critical is causing our dashboards to look worse than they really are. They should only be critical if the check fails, for example, 5 times in a row and not immediately.I’ve played with the various retry intervals and delays, but they just affect the notifications sent out, not the actual service status.

Hello, i just done 2 fresh install with automatic script for version 24.04.From central web gui, i “ve attached a remote server. On web Gui ot remote server, why the configuration host and poller is enable??? i thought it’s was disable once the remote server is attached to central?regards

Hi,We have migrated Centreon Map Legacy to the new Centreon Map.We have observed quite a few details that make working from the Map Web Client uncomfortable. Automatique poller configuration

Hello,I want to fully automate the installation and registration of a poller on the central with Ansible.For RPMs or even transcribing the 'registerServerTopology.sh' script, this is no problem.I even managed to generate via a playbook the 'gorgon' configuration of the poller.On the other hand I cannot manage to transcribe the 'poller wizard' module of the interface. I noticed this was using an internal REST API, but I can't find any info on the subject.The objective of this playbook is to install, configure, and declare the poller without administrator intervention (among other things, restarting the gorgon service on the central and the poller)Thank you for your helpPhilippe

Postfix relay can't send mail coming from local clients

Hi,my postfix relay server is sending email fine via office 365.i configured a ubuntu linux client to use this postfix relay adding below line to “/etc/postfix/main.cf”, but test emails show that they are sent to the relay, but they are not delivered to the destination email!!!

Issue with Centreon Broker Output since upgrade to 24.10

Monitoring VCenter Alarm ( Not Datacenter or cluster)

Hello communityI have a question, is it possible to monitor the alarms on the VCenter? I'm not talking about monitoring errors on a datacenter/cluster or host that works very well but really the VCenter.For example when the backup of the VCenter is in error or if the self-signed certifcat reaches the end of its life? I didn't find (or didn't look hard enough) this option in the current probe. Thanks in advance

Centreon upgrade

Hi,We are looking at upgrading our Centreon Solution at the moment, but we have run into some problems, so I am hoping someone can help. Firstly let me just say, I am not the most experienced with Linux or Centreon.So What we have is a Redhat Centreon Server, and we did have a Centos Remote Server, this obviously is now obsolete, so we used a script from Github to convert it to Oracle Linux, and this looks to have worked okay. Wrong ZMQ port used?

Hello,I am currently on a traineeship for a validation of a admin title, with a distribued monitoring project.Central in a DMZ, securised by UTMPollers on each client side, securised by UTMSo the flux is like : CENTRAL <> UTM <> INTERNET <> UTM <> POLLER I’m currently in the pre-prod phase, and i’m having issue with connecting Central / Pollers with ZMQ.Obviously I dont have the creds of UTMs so the configuration isn’t made by me so I can’t verify as I wish… I know so far that there is a NAT / PAT configuration. I followed the following post to troubleshoot my problemI saw that ZMQ port (on central / poller side) dont have the same portCENTRAL #ss -tan | grep 5556 POLLER# ss -tan | grep :5556I digged more with netcat simulating server/client with 5556, CENTRAL normally send “aaaa” to POLLER; but it respond a weird thing “router-external” on CENTRAL and nothing showed on POLLER POLLER# listening on 5556CENTRAL# sender on 5556So I’m here to ask, is that a normal b

ACL Problems on view Monitoring > Status Details > Services by Servicegroup for non admin user

I have a server a Centreon Server 24.10.3.I have a ACL for non admin user. The ACL works normaly on view `Monitoring > Resources Status`, and I can filtered service from my service group SG-DSK-CPU : But in the view `Monitoring  >  Status Details  >  Services by Servicegroup` the service group list is empty :And the problem is the same in the customs views with the widget [servicegroup-monitoring] : Someone has the same issue ?

Centreon: Issue Monitoring a Windows Service with a Specific Template

Hello,I'm currently facing an issue with Centreon while monitoring the services of my Windows virtual machines. When I test the monitoring, Centreon reports that the service is "OK". However, even after stopping the service on my VM, Centreon still shows it as "OK", even though it is actually stopped.How can I fix this issue?Thank you in advance for your help.
