ServiceNow Event Management

Hi team,For sending events from Centreon to ServiceNow instance, i configured servicenow event manager, using the following document. https://docs.centreon.com/docs/integrations/event-management/sc-service-now-em-events/.But, i was unable to get the events  in servicenow instance and in the central-broker-master.log log file, i am getting the error like: [2024-05-27T23:55:21.285-05:00] [lua] [error] lua: unknown error running function `write'Do you have any suggestions to help me solve the problem and to get the events in servicenow instance?

Bonjour,Je vous contacte, car je rencontre un problème assez bizarre, j’ai configuré un hôte et les services pour interroger un serveur Microsoft SQL (avec le pack de plugin). Les commandes sur le serveur centreon fonctionne correctement elles renvoient bien les bonnes valeurs.par contre sur l’interface web de centreon, j’ai la fameuse erreur :UNKNOWN: Cannot connect: OpenClient message: LAYER = (0) ORIGIN = (0) SEVERITY = (78) NUMBER = (44)Server , databasePourtant si je copie la commande que réalise centreon sur le shell elle fonctionne.j’ai exporté les configurations, redémarrer le serveur rien ne se passe. Auriez vous une idée d’où peut provenir le problème ou comment le corriger ? Je vous remercie par avance,Cordialement,tom

Monitoring By OID

Hello Community :I would like to request some information and I thank you in advance for following up on my request,I am supervising a service by OID and I have encountered several cases in this task,1- in Output the value obtained is in MB whereas I would like to display it in TB.2 - using numeric-value I manage to obtain the graphs but you have to put several options to obtain the desired value.3 - using String-value I obtain the desired value but there is no graph for this service and for me it is essential to have a graph for analysis.Conclusion: I would like to be able to convert the Output from MB to To / Obtain a Graph for the service using String-Value

Quel est la longueur max de key_field svp ?J’envoi de la donnée mais trop a priori et le Centreon dit “no row return” ce qui est faux en plus. Décidément la documentation Centreon est bien pauvre versus le prix du produit….Nous ne sommes pas non plus débordé par les réponses sur ce forum ou même par les réponses aux tickets du support officiel…. Quel Galère !!!

Centreon Metrics to Splunk - not working

Hi all,I am trying to send metrics from Centreon to our Splunk instance, but have not had any success.  I followed the steps here: https://docs.centreon.com/docs/integrations/data-analytics/sc-splunk-metrics/.When I run the curl command at the bottom of that page to test the connection with Splunk, it works and the event shows up in Splunk as expected.  However, none of the actual metrics from Centreon show up.  If I enable curl command logging in the stream connector, I can copy one of the curl commands and run it manually.  The Splunk HTTP Event Collector responds with a 200/OK status, but the event never appears in Splunk.To simplify things, I tried sending a service_status or host_status event pulled directly from the documentation page above.  That also gives a 200/OK response code, and never arrives in Splunk.  Changing sourcetype, source, index, host, time, etc. does not seem to fix the issue.Does anyone else have this working, and if so how did you do it? Centreon showing higher CPU usage than what's actually happening on the server

Hello guys,I have a weird problem and I don’t know if it’s me not understanding the metrics correctly or if I have a real problem.I have an Ubuntu server with a CPU check attached to it. This server in the centreon interface shows 65%+ average CPU usage, but when I’m actually connected on the server and I run a HTOP command, the max value I see for the CPU usage is 20%.Here is the HTOP screenshot:Here is the centreon value screenshot:Is there a reason for that?

Plugins non accecible debian 12

Bonjour, J’ai installé sur une machine debian 12 (fresh install) centreon. Tous est ok sauf….. Les plugins.Après plusieurs recherches, il est spécifié dans l’installation, une partie “Proxy”, sauf que nous n’en avons pas, la machine fait bien ces mises à jour debian, télécharge les paquets sur les repository, etc.Même si je télécharge les plugins avec debian, centreon ne veut rien savoir. J’ai testé de faire l’installation chez moi en perso, tout fonctionne.Du coup, je me pose des questions. Est-il obligatoire d’avoir un proxy ?Par quel port passe le Monitoring Connector Mannager afin d’afficher les plugins sur la page ? Voici à quoi ressemble ma page : Merci de votre aide,Cdt,

Hi,Nowadays some pretend that companies and developers relay on AI to understand what their users need: https://www.algolia.com/I can understand how IA, particularly deep-learning, can improve software on many levels, for example in Centreon, how it can help to determine and tune alert thresholds or reveal problem patterns which could else stay invisible to operators, I hardly see how it can be relevant for such type of high-level, human-oriented problems.Does anybody has some experience in the matter?To keep this discussion a bit Centreon centric: what do you think of the cloud-based aspect (ie: SaaS) of the IA features developed in Centreon? While it is sure that that kind of application is very often ressource intensive, it is also an obvious source of valuable data many organisms would like not to freely share but monetize themselves. The fact is a lot of companies today have the infrastructures (datalakes, distributed systems, etc…) to do so. I guess they’d like to be able to run

CPU Ready plugin virt-vmware

Hello,My monitoring server is warning me about CPU Ready consumption over 5% but when I calculate this value with extracted data directly picked from my vcenter, I’m not able to find the same result.I also installed a new system which is able to graph CPU Ready and this value for a particular virtual machine doesn’t exceed 1%.What am I doing wrong with Centreon ?It seems that this value is multiplied by 10 in the plugin.Thank you for your help.

Commands or Service changed are ignored

Hi,When I change a custom made command or a service on Centreon 23.10.11 WebUI, they are ignored until I restart all Centreon services :# systemctl restart cbd centengine gorgoned centreonIf I just try to export configuration as I did on Centreon 22.10 WebUI, all modifications made are ignored. Even if : Changes made on the command are present into /etc/centreon-engine/commands.cfg and /etc/centreon-engine/services.cfg but not on the service view from the top of the web page and are not monitored as expected.

HTTP-Response through ntlm proxy

SSH persistent connections

Hello everyone,I am currently using the Centreon plugin, `centreon_linux_ssh.pl`, which generates multiple SSH connections for each service that is being executed.I am wondering if there is a way to establish persistent SSH connections instead.I noticed that there is a Centreon SSH Connector but But isn't it deprecated.? https://docs-older.centreon.com/docs/centreon-ssh-connector/en/latest/Is it possible to achieve this functionality directly from the Centreon Engine ? xy

Special character service monitoring

Hi,I am monitoring the services of a server, but it has in its display name, special characters like “ç” and “~” and when I ask to verify the service, it gives the PROBLEM error, which is its way of saying that it did not identify the service.I managed to monitor other services on the same server, but these services did not have a special character.Any tips on how to make centreon identify these special characters?

Dear, Admins,I am an admin user to manage Centeron system who gives the admin right or the non admin right to users to allocate for thier operation works depends on thier title.Regards to this activity, one of the non admin user clamed that he can not generate the CSV/PNG file of the specific device,because of the access right has not given.Therefore, I need to know how to give the access right to generate the CSV/PNG file to those who give the access right to non addmin user.Best Regards, ※The picture below shows the non admin user has denied to generate the CSV file, because of the privilege right has not yet given.

I have a centreon v. 23.10.9 and a paloalto PA820 pan-os 10.2 version, I tried to integrate the paloalto into the centreon with the following procedure:   1- test the communication between the paloalto and Centreon (the test    ping is OK)   1- I entered the Paloalto IP address and the SNMP community on Centreon   2- creates the SNMP community on the paloalto   3- select the service I want to monitor   4-exports the recording to the centreon-central server (export is done without error)After these steps the poalo shows me the error: "UNKNOWN: SNMP GET Request: Timeout"I need help please

Centreon Migration pl scripts issues

Hello everyone,I am currently migrating a Centreon 21.04.20 instance to the latest version of Centreon. When I restore my old services, the command outputs are altered. For example, on SQL Database:OLD CENTREON: NEW CENTREON:Just returning “OK” Another example for my forti services:OLD CENTREONReturning “ok” plus informations NEW CENTREON:Returning same information but “UNKNOWN”. I tried to check scritps, i even tried to copy old script on new centreon but it isnt working. Any help to find what could going wrong would be appreciated.Thank you !
