Object not found: base_centreon_ping

Hello,I am trying to add a service to my host, but I keep encountering the same problem. It doesn't recognize my command:centreon -u admin -p passwordadmin -o service -a add -v "W19-CENTREON;Ping_W19-CENTREON;base_centreon_ping"Object not found: base_centreon_pingI want to specify that this command is an existing base command in Centreon.However, it exists:centreon -u admin -p passwordadmin -o CMD -a show | grep base_centreon_ping93;base_centreon_ping;check;$USER1$/check_icmp -H $HOSTADDRESS$ -n $_SERVICEPACKETNUMBER$ -w $_SERVICEWARNING$ -c $_SERVICECRITICAL$ $_SERVICEEXTRAOPTIONS$I tried creating another one and adding it, but I encounter the same error.Do you have an explanation?Thank you.Have a nice day.

Damned licence key!

Hi,I’ve been told licence key were now handled online and I would not have to ask for key anytime. What naive being I had have to beleive in this.In addition I’m quite sure licence was valid before I upgrade from 23.10.18 to 23.10.21.Can someone please look at what the funk could it be made to fix this issue? I can’t upgrade the plugin packs.The fingerprint of the regarded platform is 1c7055ac1152efd834c0f759079ec293c7bc413fef2ea7dc1f9d6b6207626003These licence key problematic is a funky plain in the grass!Cheers.

Services Scan - Rights?

Hello all, I try to fond a way to discover services without giving Admin rights.When I want to scan services, I can only apply (click on save) when I have ADMIN rights.can you say me if a specific right is necessary to permit the save?My user has good ACLs (menus, resources,...). Button is there but when we click on it, nothing works…when I give Admin rights to user, it works... Thanks, Laurent

Service blocked in passive mode

Hello,On 22.10.28Some of our probes remain stuck with active_checks_enabled=0, even though all configurations indicate that the service should be set to 1.For visualization on our poller, the services.cfg file contains:define service {    host_name                      toto.nomdedomaincache.fr    service_description            CPU    register                       1    active_checks_enabled          1    use                            VMWARE_ESX-CPU    _SERVICE_ID                    302823}  And on the Centreon side: The only ways to resolve this issue are:Simply transferring the host to another poller. Stopping centengine, removing the service from the retention.dat file, and then restarting (if there is only one poller).

Question NSclient++

Hello guys  i have a problem when trying to connect to nsclient my windows box is running the nsclient++  when i’m trying to connect to my nsclient from my centreon server i have a timeout on my centreon here is the command on my centreon /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_nrpe -H <ip of the windows>  -p 5666   -n  here is the message from the logs of the nsclient \include/nrpe/server/protocol.hpp: Accepting connection from <ip of the centreon server>, count = 1\include\socket/connection.hpp: Failed to read data : End of file here is my config file  # If you want to fill this file with all available options run the following command:#   nscp settings --generate --add-defaults --load-all# If you want to activate a module and bring in all its options use:#   nscp settings --activate-module <MODULE NAME> --add-defaults# For details run: nscp settings --help[/settings/log]; LOG LEVEL - Log level to use. Percona MySQL server compatibility issue while installing 23.04

Hello, we tried to install Centreon 23.04 on RHEL9.2 with percona mysql 8.percona-server-shared-8.0.33-25.1.el9.x86_64percona-server-client-8.0.33-25.1.el9.x86_64percona-icu-data-files-8.0.33-25.1.el9.x86_64percona-server-server-8.0.33-25.1.el9.x86_64 however in the database partitioning phase we get error:MySQL server is not compatible with partitioning. MySQL version must be greater or equal 5.1.Does anybody know how to do the partitioning manually or how else this could be avoided?

Pas eu le temps to troubleshoot yet.This platform has not any tweak of any kind, it has been installed and is regularly updated and that’s all. Only a few hosts (maybe three in addition to the platform’s host eux-self.Cordialy.

Services file for BAM and MAP disappear

Hello,I’m pretty new to Centreon, so I apologize in advance.Someone in the company installed the MAP, MBI, and BAM extensions for Centreon 24.10.Everything was working fine until I ran systemctl restart centreon.After that, I couldn’t use the MAP and BAM modules in the web interface. After some research, I found that the .service files on the server had disappeared.I can still see the packages on the server and their licenses in the web client.I haven’t configured or created anything in MAP/BAM yet, so I’m a bit lost and unsure what to do.Should I manually create the .service files?I tried reinstalling the MAP extension, but unfortunately, it didn’t regenerate the .service files.

Using --regexp-name/--process-name options in centreon_windows_wsman.pl with mode 'processes'

Hello,I’m trying to understand how options ‘--regexp-name/--process-name’ work together in plugin centreon_windows_wsman.pl. I haven’t get it.According to help info:--process-name: Filter process name.--regexp-name: Allows to use WQL wildcard to filter process name (with option            --process-name).How does it mean? What is the right way to do it? Is it a real regular expression? Or a WQL-sysntax query? Where do I have to put the regexp? If I want to get all processes starting with ‘p’, how do I have to write the options?:--process-name --regexp-name=”^p” ? --process-name=”^p” --regexp-name ? --process-name --regexp-name=”%p” ? --process-name=”%p” --regexp-name ? --regexp-name=”^p” ? .. …I haven’t found the way…If anybody can give me some light...Thanks in advance.Regards,Albert

Centreon Remote server 23.10

Hello,i have multiple remote servers and one of them has strange behavior.Most of the services are ping.But sometimes there is drop on hosts/services actively checked on the grapf of engine statistics and spike of the latency. CPU and memory on remote server are not fully utilized. Where can be problem?

Hello guys i’m trying to monitor a ubuntu 24.04 and i have some issues i had 5.38 perl version and had this problem when trying to  dowload nrpe client apt -y install centreon-nrpe4-daemon centreon-plugin-operatingsystems-linux-local Les paquets suivants contiennent des dépendances non satisfaites : libcrypt-openssl-aes-perl : Dépend: perlapi-5.36.0 mais il n'est pas installableE: Impossible de corriger les problèmes, des paquets défectueux sont en mode « garder en l'état ». and when i deleted perl 5.38 to switch on perl 5.36  i had this problem  Vous pouvez lancer « apt --fix-broken install » pour corriger ces problèmes.Les paquets suivants contiennent des dépendances non satisfaites : centreon-plugin-operatingsystems-linux-local : Dépend: libcrypt-openssl-aes-perl mais ne sera pas installé                                                Dépend: libpod-parser-perl mais ne sera pas installé                                                Dépend: libnet-curl-perl mais ne sera pas installé

Rest API v2 - Error while searching for service templates

Hi.My Centreon is IT100 24.04.7 and I’m playing with Rest API v2.I try to get a service template by searching for its name or its id but I always have a code 500 with the following message: “Error while searching for service templates”. Error while searching by name On the other hand, the search for template services works well when I don’t put any search in query parameters. Ok with no search parameterWhat am I doing wrong? Is it a known bug?

CLAPI applytpl bugged in new version ?

Hello [root@ip-10-0-12-126 ~]# centreon -u dummy -p 'vuYAQ#9gr!5u5xx' -o HOST -a applytpl -v "REVERSE-PROXY-2"Return code end :But if I click the “ Create Service linked to the template too” on the GUI , its works. I didnt had any issues with any other clapi command, seems strange this one fails. Also, the hostname is 100% correct, because rest of clapi commands are working fine. Any workaround ? I wouldnt want to downgrade centreon version just for this. Centreon v.24.10.3

Monitoring VSAN

Hi, we are trying to monitor a vsan-cluster-usage through the centreon_vmware_connector_client.pl plugin. To do this, we have copied the files VIM25VsanmgmtStub.pm and VIM25VsanmgmtRuntime.pm into the same folder where the VIM25Runtime.pm file is located. This has worked for us so far in Centos 7 but when migrating to Debian 11 we get the errorUNKNOWN: Vsan is not enabled in vmware connector.We don't see any difference but it doesn't work correctly.Any ideas? Thanks

REST API : "HOST panel : create services linked to the template too" switch y/n

Bonjour, In the host panel, there is a radio switch “ Create Service linked to the template too”.Is it possible to activate it with the rest API? With the REST API, i am creating new hosts from template.But the new hosts don t have services linked to the template.Is it possible to add these services linked to the template with the rest API? Thanks for the future answer,Mathias

Error ACL management

Hello everyone,Since upgrading to 24.04.7, I have a problem with ACL management.My non-admin users no longer see the service groups in the detailed services or in the custom views.If I set my user as administrator, I can see the service groups. I've looked at the acl management and resource access is set to all.For testing purposes, I gave my user full rights (he has access to all) but the list of group services remains empty. I've checked that my user is in the right rights group. When I want to reload the ACLs, I get an error message. Thanks for your help

ACL issue - no ressource showed

Hello,I have an issue regarding ACL. I wanted to restrict the ressource view to some users.For information I run a fresh 24.04.07 centreon installation made on a debian 12.Here what I’ve done (following the documentation) :Creation of a “Ressource Access” ACL On tab “Hosts resources” I’ve checked only the host I wanted to display and leave everything by default On tab “Services Resources” I’ve checked “Include all servicegroups” I leave the others tab as default Creation of a “Menu access” ACL I only checked “Home”, “Monitoring” and “Reporting” Creation of a “Action Access” ACL I duplicated the existing “Simple User” ACL and removed some actions like Enable/Disable Notification … I just wanted the users to have a display access. Finally I created an “Access Group” linked with a test user and in the “Authorizations information” tab I selected the 3 ACL I just created.When I log on with my user display limitation are OK but I don’t see any hosts or services.I tried a lot of different

Notify email remote poller

Hi!I have a Central with some Remote Servers and I need send notifications via email from all Remote Servers. I’ve configure my SNMP Server and is working correctly. I’m testing with host and services indexed on Centreon Central but is not possible send this notification from Remotes.I can’t configure SNMP on remote pollers because is not possible connect to internet. Has anyone had this problem? Has it been able to be solved? BR!

How to specify which certificate is monitored with X509 Template?

I need to know if it is possible to specify the certificate which will be monitored for expiration.I have a scenario where I have a software which installs its own certificate in the certificate store where my CA certificate is installed.Now I have the problem that only the certfiicate of the software is monitored and not the one from my CA.Can I specify the Issuer somehow or is there another way to monitor both certificates? And another question I have is, if the X509 certificate Plugin can also monitor the CA Certificate of a Domain Controller. I am asking this because all of my DCs give me an IP Configuration SSL Socket Error when I try to add the X509 Template to the host. UNKNOWN: Error creating SSL socket: Connection timed out, SSL error: IO::Socket::IP configuration failedOther servers with just “normal” CA certificates are monitored just fine. There are no relevant differences in the firewall configuration between DCs and “normal” servers.

Hello,With Cenreon web 23.10.20, all the eventl ogs are available to any user in :“Monitoring  >  Event Logs"So everyone can see the host/service/ouput of everything, bypassing the ACLs.
