Licensing, Online vs. Offline

Hi,I stumbled on the following instruction reading the documentation for the Postgres Connector: I don’t understand.Does online license and offline license have to be understood as, respectively, “SaaS” and “on premise”? I wouldn’t say so, but ?Else, if it’s about the way the license validity is checked, then why the nature of this verification would change the way a Connector Pack has to be installed? Do any other non-intuitive things like this are already present or are to be awaited in future releases?Do you have a list of what « online licensing »  implies for the way Centreon behaves? I remember I’ve been told back then it was introduced, that it’s a matter of checking the licence validity, and only that. I’m afraid I’ve been lied to about the real purpose of this functionality. Can someone explain me what means this part of the documentation?

Compatibilite MediaWiki centreon 24.10

Good morning,I have an opensource centreon in 24.04.8 which uses mediawiki 1.39.1.MariaDB is installed on a remote server in version: 10.11.10. It hosts the 2 centreon DBs and 2 mediawiki DBs.In the Centreon doc it is written that you must use version 1.31 of mediawiki.And it is written in the mediawki doc that it is compatible with MariaDB 10.3.0+.I get this error when I click on the notes_url in the resources screen:Warning: Trying to access array offset on value of type null in /usr/share/centreon/www/class/centreon-knowledge/wikiApi.class.php on line 98Is this related to the different versions installed?Sincerely

Dashboard - Manage access rights - Contact group

Hi,we’ve upgrade Centreon from 23.04 to 24.10. We discover the the Dashboard system and is seems to be great.We encounter a problem to share a dashboard to Contact group. We have some Contact group but the list stay empty in the drop down list.EDIT : I realized the drop down list Contact is also bugged. there is no all the users…

Upgrade workflow when using external poller hosts

Hi,During the upgrade of a central server, especially when the PHP script are run, should/must distant poller be up and running? Or doesn’t matter?I have this question with Gorgone in mind: do the PHP upgrade scripts could need to do any  modification on the remote pollers, like deploying new files?

Ressource status page, check column error (23.10)

Hi, after migrate 22.10 to 23.10 , Ressource status page contains an error with “check (C)” column.It indicates the "only passive check" icon on an active service and nothing on a passive service.Best regards,

"Unauthorized" web connection

Hello,This morning, I tried to log in to the Centreon web interface. I selected my admin account, and it first showed "Login Succeeded" followed by "Unauthorized." After that, I was left with a blank page displaying "Centreon is loading" indefinitely.I was on Centreon just yesterday, and I don't understand what could have changed since then.Centreon version : 24.04.7I try with an other navigator and it’s Ok.Ok the solution is just close and reopen the navigator...

[Plugin EATON SNMP] Nouvelle MIB

Hi,When I use the "hardware::pdu::eaton::snmp::plugin" plugin with the "environment" mode I get errors on the return :  It turns out that the temperature probes which are added to the PDU no longer have the same OIDs. OIDs requested by the plugin : OIDs from the new MIB EATON : (.1.3.6.1.4.1.534.6.8)  I can also see that this request has already been made several times on the centreon-plugins github :https://github.com/centreon/centreon-plugins/issues/3222https://github.com/centreon/centreon-plugins/issues/2888 If it was only necessary to change the OID I could have made the modification but in this case it is also necessary to review the mapping because the return of these new OIDs is different and requires adaptation. Could you please modify this plugin to be able to check new PDU ? Do you need me to provide any other information ? Thanks for your help.Kind Regards.

Bonjour,Nous voudrions changer notre configuration concernant notre de base de donnée .Nous voulons mettre les données sur un serveur externe , toute la configuration du ‘Mariadb’ est faite lace ( Création du User avec les privilèges).Maintenant je me pose la question pour effectuer le changement sur le serveur Centreon.Faut il juste modifier le configuration du Broker Output , en changeant  la nouvelle adresse du serveur de base de donnée ? check OS Linux Process : false "critical"

I have 3 DB2 servers, all have the same processes (only the DB name are different), they all have the same process check (based on a service template).The checks worked well for several months, from a few days the check is CRITICAL on 1 server whereas the process is still present. Problem connection WEB / cache

Centreon 24.04 Web admin password reset

It appears that I am locked out of the admin account for the WebUI for Cent 24.04.  I am not sure if it expired and never got changed, or if one of my coworkers changed it and now can’t remember the new password, but I need to get it reset via the CLI.  I have done some searching and have tried a couple of the different options that I have found. UPDATE contact_password SET PASSWORD('MyNewPassword') where contact_alias='admin';andUPDATE contact_password SET password = PASSWORD('MyNewPassword') WHERE contact_id = (SELECT contact_id FROM contact WHERE login = 'admin'); Neither of which seems to have worked.  I have tried other variations on this as well with no luck.  The closest I seem to have gotten was with the first one, but it returns an error:ERROR 1054 (42S22): Unknown column 'contact_passwd' in 'field list'  Any help would be appreciated to get this reset so I can access the WebUI and silence some annoying alarms.

Centreon plugin not showing results on web

Hi.I‘m using centreon_windows_snmp.pl to monitor CPU, Memory usage, process and disk space on my servers. When I execute any command on my pollers it works, but on web shows (No output returned from plugin). Central server and pollers are on version 24.04.7. Any ideas?

Display bug in the status grid widget dashboard?

HelloI’m trying to make dashboard filtered on a host group (or a host category)I want the “condensed”  view of the status grid widgetthe host group has only 2 members. ‘Standard’ (non condensed) I have my 2 hosts if I use Condensed , the total in the tile is wrong and is counting ALL the host without filtering. it should display 2 in green, it says 6...(this is a test platform with IT-100 edition, 24.04, latest patch from last week) tested that on 2 different platform, I have the same behaviour. is anyone else getting the same result?

MBI JOB Problem

HI,I have Centreon Central version 21.10.8 installed on centos 7 with onboard DB and some pollers. I set up a dedicated server for CentreonMBI with db onboard. Bonjour,Nous utilisons actuellement la version 22.10.25 de Centreon (sous licence) sur RHEL 8 et souhaitons faire évoluer le produit vers la dernière version pleinement supportée et maintenue.Est-il possible de se faire accompagner par le support Centreon ? awie export is always corrupted - can it be done trough cli ?

Hello I have a Centreon instance with a lot of usefull commands and templates, which I want to move to my new installation . Sadly , every file the awie export creates is corrupted. Cannot be opened / unzipped. Can I do this export from the VM ? ( Im on Linux onPrem installation 24.04v)

Hi,How can we use the “scenario” mode with SFTP plugin?I don’t have found any manual for using this mode. I saw that we can input a json file, but same question as before, where can i found a man page for creating this file. We have a FTP/SFTP server and would like to do a GET command in the same way as we do with the FTP plugin.Thanks a lotCiao ciaostefano
