Moving files... NOK(Could not write into centcore.cmd. Please check file permissions.)

I have create a poller. At the final of installation , i try to export configuration for the new poller :But an error on moving files appears “Moving files... NOK(Could not write into centcore.cmd. Please check file permissions.). The poller is down in IHM : On the poller process centengine is start :The server central can connect in ZMQ on the poller :I think the rights on the poller are OK :On the central, i have error on /var/log/centreon-broker/central-broker-master.log : I don’t understand, where is the problem ?

Can't install VMWARE-daemon because PERL(ZMQ::Constants) is necessary

Hello, I currently facing a problem when I want to install “centreon-plugin-Virtualization-VMWare-daemon” to monitor my ESX. It seems that perl(ZMQ::Constants) is required/necessary to do the installation. I already tried to install perl(ZMQ::Constants) with cpan “cpan ZMQ::Constants” : It looks like ZMQ::Constants is up to date … I checked on internet and it seems like no one got the problem, so I’m really lost at this point. I have installed Centreon on a Oracle 9. I installed packages perl-ZMQ-libZMQ4, perl-VMware-VSphere  Is someone already faced this problem ?  Hope I’ll get answer.  KR,

Weird NMAP Discovery Error

Hi, I’m getting the following error message when trying to do an NMAP discovery - what am I meant to do here?! We trust you have received the usual lecture from the local SystemAdministrator. It usually boils down to these three things:     #1) Respect the privacy of others.    #2) Think before you type.    #3) With great power comes great responsibility. sudo: a terminal is required to read the password; either use the -S option to read from standard input or configure an askpass helper Also, this is a brand new install.

centreon 23.10 web interface, few pages not working

Hello everyone,I installed centreon 23.10, and i’m working on retrieving my services, and getting them to work, but there’s a catch : few of my webpages, crucials ones, aren’t accessibles, while they were before. Hosts configuration wasn’t accessible for quite a while, but recently, i had the service configuration, and the whole status details in the monitoring tab. It seems to work, but doesn’t display any services. And it’s not that the services aren’t working either, as you can see on the resources status screenshot.I think it’s a php error, somewhere, but i’ll need the help of someone who know better than me,  how the inner side of centreon work. thanks for the help !

Centreon Plugins - Discover Collection modesTutorial

The Centreon Plugins team recently introduced a new fashion of scraping monitoring indicators. It’s called Collection.  These modes could be seen as 'dumb' boiler-plates, allowing you to monitor 'things' over various protocols or APIs while abstracting some of their complexity. Collection modes rely on a JSON configuration file describing the data you want to get and the processing or mapping you may wish to apply. This kind of mode is handy if you are in one of the following situations:You can't find an existing plugin to monitor what you want or fulfill your particular need. You need to gather data from a in-house, black box, or third-party application and transform it to be easier to analyze. Writing (or asking for) a dedicated plugin appears overkill because you simply want to monitor values and apply thresholds over them. Currently, Collection modes are available for: SNMP (check the tutorial) SQL (check the tutorial)In other words, you can use these on any device supporting SNMP

HOW TO FILTER

Hi there, I have the next problem:We have the alerts from centreon sent via telegram. The point is that we don’t want that many alerts, we only want those ones we are interested in. So I tried to filter that information, only achieving to filter the performance data (which is not the message telegram sends, telegram send the status information).To sum up, I want to filter the info from STATUS INFORMATION and I don’t know how. I have tried with How to play with Regex - Part II | Community (centreon.com) and part 1 and it has been impossible for me to succeed. I`ve been working with centreon for just a couple days now so I will gladly thank any help. This is what I want to filter

Wrong plugin name in installation command

Hi there, I am working on two version of centreon :Centreon 22.04 on Debian 11 (Bullseye)Centreon 24.04 on Debian 12 (Bookworm)(I am planning to migrate my old system to the new one.) I have a problem on plugins installation.First, it appears on Centreon 24 while configuring it to monitor my hosts, then I noticed it was the same on Centreon 22.. Web : the plugin seems to be installed, but can not be found in “/usr/lib/centreon/plugins”Terminal : the command lead to an error. Actually, it seems that the command is wronge.g. :centreon-pack-network-hp-standard-snmp = KOcentreon-plugin-network-hp-standard-snmp = OK The first command line is provided by Centreon website when you click on “more info” (“i”) of the plugin you wish install. Centreon, is it me or what happenned ?  Julius

Lost Graph History After Centreon Upgrade - Retention Issues

Hello everyone,Since the upgrade of Centreon, I have lost the history of my graphs. Before the update, I had set the retention values to 365 days in "Performance Data Management". However, today, I only have 6 months of history on all my graphs.The main issue is that I can't modify the retention on my existing graphs and every day, I am losing data older than 6 months.Has anyone encountered this problem before? How can I recover my full history and ensure that my data is retained for 365 days as originally configured?Thank you in advance for your help.

Unable to Login to Centreon Platform

Hello everyone,I'm currently managing a Hyper-V hypervisor environment with the following setup:I recently activated VM replication between two Hyper-V servers (not all VMs are being replicated).Since setting up this replication, Centreon has been reporting the following critical errors: critical: integration service 'Guest Services Interface' status: -/- critical: integration service 'Heartbeat' status: -/- critical: integration service 'KeyValue Pair Exchange' status: -/- critical: integration service 'Shutdown' status: -/- critical: integration service 'Time Synchronization' status: -/- critical: integration service 'VSS' status: -/- These errors appear to be related to the integration services on the replicated VMs. Could someone please help me understand why these errors are occurring and how to resolve them? Some operations made in Centreon Web don't write there datas in database

Hello,First, sorry for my English writing please … The problem discribed in this subject happends for example when i try to modify ACLs, or when i try to watch the the properties of users. (I’m logged with an admin account profile)In the case of ACLs : the modifications are finally not saved after they have been saved from the Web interface. Note : The modifications made on ACLs with CLAPI are well stored in databaseIn the case of Users properties : i’ve got a blank page for each user. Your help will be appreciated please.Regards

Migration debian 12

Bonjour Je voulais faire un upgrade de mon serveur de debian 11 à debian 12. Sauf que ça ne fonctionnait plus. J’ai tenté de supprimer les paquets bullseye de centron pour les forcer à ce resinstaller avec les paquets bookworm mais je n’arrive pas à remettre tous les paquets. Vous auriez une méthode qui va bien ? ou Est-ce qu’il faut que je persévers dans ce sens ?

Windows SNMP check process

Hello,We are trying to setup the Windows SNMP plugin with the mode --process-count, but there is something wierd about the logic of this check.I would like Centreon to send a critical alert if the number of processes running matching my filter equals zero, but Centreon always returns OK./usr/lib/centreon/plugins/centreon_windows_snmp.pl --plugin=os::windows::snmp::plugin --mode=processcount --hostname=xyz --snmp-version='2c' --snmp-community='xyz' --process-name='xyz.exe'  --critical='0'If the xyz.exe process is running this returns OK, but if the process is not running Centreon also returns OK.Reply when process runningOK: Number of current processes running: 1 | 'nbproc'=0;;0:1;0;Reply when process not runningOK: Number of current processes running: 0 | 'nbproc'=0;;0:1;0;Does it mean we cannot check a single process and return the status critical? Centreon is 256 chars limited widget

Hello,I have a problem using REGEXP in the service widget to exclude bad services. When I use more than 256 characters, the screen goes blank, and I can't use more than 256 characters.Will an update resolve this issue? Is there any workaround?Thank you in advance for your help.Best regards,
