SNMP monitors Windows Server

I have a server with 2 Gold 6230R cpus, each with 26 cores and 52 threads. Why only 52 threads are displayed when using Centreon monitoring, when normally 104 threads are not? The cpus of the other servers monitored are shown as the number of cpus multiplied by the number of cores multiplied by the number of threads.

Add a host template to a host using an API

Hi,Maybe I haven’t searched enough but I can’t find how one would add a host template to a host using the v2 API.CLAPI (and thus, the v1 REST API) has a ADDTEMPLATE action for objects of type HOST that can do that easily. But all I can see in the v2 API is the /centreon/api/{version}/configuration/hosts/{host_id} endpoint. Is it possible to add a template (ie: keeping the already present ones) from there? All I can think of would be to make a first request to list the already present templates to be able to use this endpoint to add an additional template. Or, in case it would add the template(s) to the already configured ones, then how one would do to set another set of templates (ie: SETTEMPLATE)?In addition, it looks it is required to use the template ID, which is, imo, less practical than using the name of the template as CLAPI permits.

AS400 - Check jobs in subsystems

Dear community,We would like to test whether a certain number of jobs with known names are running in a subsystem. Example: EDIGEDA should be running in ROBOT.We would also like to test whether at least 1 job is running in a sub-system. My idea was to test via :  --filter-subsystem-name=‘^SUBSYS$’ --filter-subsystem-library=‘LIB’ --critical-status=0 Is it necessary to test a warning state in this case?Finally, is it possible to manually create all the tests in the CLI, as we will have a large number of them on several systems?Thank you in advance for your answers,Best regards,Jean

Problem when I change a host conf

Hi,since I have updated my server from SL7/Centreon 19 to RH8/Centreon 24 , if I change the IP of a host, the update doesn’t apply when I export the conf as usual. The check continue with the old IP.Then, I need to go to the server shell and restart the centreon service to make it work.Any idea ? Did I miss something during the update process ?Regards,JF

Bonjour,J’aimerai exporter les attributions de notifications d'un utilisateur afin de faire un point avec lui, mais je ne trouve rien à part une visu vite fait sur config > utilisateurs > contact/utilisateur > Afficher les notif du contact …. mais rien en export, ce qui n’est pas pratique du tout lorsqu’un utilisateur a 10 pages de notifications configurées….Y aurait il une solution svp ? Merci

var/lib/mysql growing 5GB per week

Hi at all,the volume var/lib/mysql growing 5GB per week. I gave it more space two weeks ago, from 60GB to120GB. This is the graph in 4 months:  Two weeks ago the volume filled up, this caused the db logs table to be deleted. I recreated the table, but now it’s not partitioned. So, I have two question: Why the var/lib/mysql volume growing so quickly?  Is it a problem if the logs table is not partitioned? I'm waiting for a response, thank you very much!!

clapi vs api performance

Hello,I'm currently testing performance between clapi commands (which will disappear in a while) and api commands. I've imported around 130 host group.With clapi → ~ 3 secondsWith API → ~ 4 minutesEach api request takes 2 seconds. Now, i need to import ~ 1300 Services Templates. With clapi → ~ 2 minutesBut with api, with the above data, import 1 300 Services Template will take ~43 minutes. Is there a way of speeding up the execution of curl commands so that they take less time ?Thank you

Aruba stack member check with check using centreon_generic_snmp.pl

Hi,As the official Aruba stack check does not work with the Aruba switches we have, I tried to create a command using centreon_generic_snmp.pl. Can't Login after upgrade

Hi,I seegot no answer but it’s only 21 days old.I initiate this thread because I’m also interested in any handy solution one could use to access to some aggregated statistics of this kind (ie: the whole total for the set of pollers/engines typically).But also, and firstly, because, some weeks ago, on the 3 Centreon platforms I co-administer with my colleague, I noticed those charts were no more accessible, we had a message “there is no data” displayed briefly in every charts. Surprisingly, on the 3 platforms (which represents a total of 13 pollers, 10 if not counting the central servers), only one (external) poller still had been having the charts displayed.I never took the time to troubleshoot the issue and hopefully, as you can see in the image below, upgrade to 23.10.115 fixed the issue. But only for 2 of the 3 platforms !The 2 platforms which have been upgrade from 23.10.11 to 23.10.15 had the issue resolved.The 1 platform which, for “administrative” reasons had been upgraded from

Launch check only the 1st tuesday of each month

Hello everyone,I need to run a check on a server to verify the presence of a file, but only on the first Tuesday of each month between 07:00 and 18:00. I saw that it’s possible to work with time periods, but that doesn't meet my requirement of doing it only on the first Tuesday of each month.In any case, I haven't found how to do it with time periods.Thank you in advance for your help.Have a great day.Best regards.

Check with only ping request

Hello !I just set up the lastest version of Centreon, i read a lot of “how to” manual but i’m stuck on a basic thing ..I just want to set up supervision with only ping, i do not need anything else for the moment, i tried many differents way but i can ‘t ping hosts i added.I can ping them from the server with ssh commands, my virtual server do Central and pollerPlz someone can give me the right way to set it up ?Thanks

Character Encoding Issue

I am using Centreon version 24.04 to monitor a Windows server. I have installed NSClient++ on the Windows server and customized a VBS script to obtain the operating system version information. However, this information includes Chinese characters. When I test it on the local machine, I get the correct result, but on the Centreon page, the places where Chinese characters should be displayed appear as garbled text.How can I solve this problem?

Hello,When i used a custom macro and want to initialise it with value macro $HOSTALIAS$ ,it’s not interpreted by centreon engine…Is it possible to do it? here on my example the ALIASDB receive not value in centreon-engine….i’ve got no value after @… althought the alias is fill on definition of the host…

Metrics graph-monitoring

FR:Bonjour,Je souhaite retirer la métrique "Usage" de mon graphique de monitoring, car elle pose des problèmes pour l'échelle. Je peux la désélectionner manuellement, mais lorsque je fais une rotation de mes vues personnalisées, elle se réactive automatiquement. Comment puis-je désactiver cette métrique de façon permanente ?
