Centreon Infra Monitoring

Hello the community, I try to execute a custom script  but It seems I miss something. I have a poller on an ec2 instance on AWS. I try to execute a probe Python script on a Linux server on another ec2 instance. this server is attached to the poller in AWS.The script is located on server (not on the poller)Locally, the script works fine.But via Centreon, I have “(Execute command failed)” Other non-custom probes are working well. Can you help me to understand? Regards, Laurent   

Hello,I would try centreon to monitoring AS400 ibm i server but i have many troubleshooting.I can ping my host AS400 with the base_host_alive command.I have IBM AS400 Connector installed.I try to create a CPU service with OS-AS400-CPU command for an host but he have an unknown status with (No output returned from plugin).Someone can help us ?Best Regards  

My Centreon server suddenly started consuming 400% of the server's CPU. When I checked with top command    I noticed that the issue was related to MariaDB. Then, I used mysql to list the process list, and I found several processes associated with the Centreon user. Most of these queries were identical SELECT statements. What could be causing this? How can I resolve the problem?

Hi,I’ve seen there are two other topics with a similar problem but as they’re quite old I make this new one.The problem is: the Engine JSON stats file (named pipe) is missing on one of our poller. Hello,I configured oidc with AzureAD bu i’m facing a strange behavior, depending on the browser I use: Google Chrome: OK in normal mode, OK in private modeEdge: KO in normal mode, OK in private modeFirefox: KO in normal mode, KO in private mode What I mean for KO is the following beahvior:After clicking on “Se connecter avec openid” button, connection is made, user/role is logged like this: but in browser, I am redirected to the login page. I tried to activate debug logs and I found a difference in centreon-web.log between “working” and “not-working” cases. working case (Google Chrome) NOT working case (Mozilla Firefox) Test have been made using a brand new vmware install of centreon updated to v 23.04.7

Hello, I am pretty begginer in this area, but I would try to learn more. It monitors disk occupancy at 99% by giving Critical and Warning limits in percent. Hello,after upgrading RHEL8.7 from Centreon 3.4 to latest 22.10, Im unable to export CSV performance data from graphs. Once I click on the button (see picture below). I get redirected to a page; which indicates the page your tried to access has being iternal error occurered or the web page has moved to the new web page completely  - same thing happens if I export CSV directly from performances page. Oddly exporting timeline and graph pictures works fine.

Hi,I had trouble duplicating hosts from the Web UI. Every time I try to duplicate a host with associated services, the services for the duplicated hosts aren’t displayed for the user account, but I can see them with the admin account.I’ve the centreon’s 23.04.6 version running on debian bullseye.Waht’s supprising is that, when I create the hosts from scratch, and choose to deploy linked services, it works fine.I’ve checked all the configurations for my user account, and it seem to have every right needed to do what I want. And I couldn’t figure out what’s happening.Do anyone have a clue ou can give me some hints on where to look at ?Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi, i’m struggeling with setting up a cluster for Master & slave on different sites! i’m putting an example:Master in site A (172.30.100.10)Slave in site B (10.10.50.10)i managed to configure the cluster but i don’t know how to make the VIP work? question 1: will a public IP (static) work on this scenario? for example 102.200.85.192 from a service provider?question 2: do i need a proxy or a load balancer in this case? if so, what is the recommendation?question 3: will the poller work with the VIP? it’s been weeks now seeking for help in every forum out there; but i still didn’t get a response!please help me out. thank you

Hi,When a filter is selected, it’s possible to enter a new query, thus changing the displayed results. If one wants to go back to the previous results, he can’t select the same filter in the list again. He has to select another filter, then re-select the filter he wants.The “previous” browser button (which could be a workaround to the problem described above) doesn’t work either. And this is even more annoying, a web application should always let the user use the “previous” and “next” browser buttons.

Hello, I just reinstalled Centreon 21.10 following an strange issue related to a TokenStorage error message at the login windows. (another topic is opened for this) I restored all databases and now everything is working.But i have no more graph data. Here is the logs i have in /var/log/messages Again and again : 0] [cbwd] [error] cbd instance with PID 12010 has stopped, attempt to restart it Centreon tells me “No data available for this period” for every graph Can you help ? Thank you

I have migrated my centreon server from 2.8.32 to 23.x to the new Alma 8 with all data successfully.Going next, will it require new servers for poller or existing will work (centos 6.10)?How do i migrate pollers’ data to new pollers server and make them work with central? if it is not necessary can it work with the old one? it will not because the os is olf 6.10 but still need guidence. Thanks,community

Hi,I just learnt there are breaking changes in the last Centreon plugin packs release. As versions 22.10.X of Centreon also relies on those plugin packs, it results in breaking changes introduced in Centreon 22.10.Plugin packs now have the same naming than the other Centreon parts (YY.MM.XX), having packages labelled *23.04* in a repository with an URL like */22.10/* is odd, to say the least.I think the previous versions of any Centreon package still are available in the repository, I haven’t checked but I hope it’s true for plugin packs also.What would be the cost, the technical difficulties, to have a per major version plugin packs repository to avoid breaking changes for a non major upgrade? Is the recent change in the naming a first step to such a resolution of the issue?

Hello,I’ve just installed Centreon 23.04 from VM TemplateI created an host with basic (OS-Windows-snmp-custom) , then export config poller, but the host are never displayed on the UI.It work only when i reboot the centengine service with CLI.It’s look like centreon user have no permissions to do that.unfortunatly, i don’t find any informations in logs. i check all the installation & prerequisites and i think i do all correctly. not find a lot of information on other topics.Some one can help me please ? EDIT : the poller is default poller on localhost

Hello, I’m newbie to Centreon and I would need to configure a GSM host. The host communicates via SIM card, which has two possible IP addresses. Of course, only one is active at a time, but we can’t know which one. Centreon will act as trap receiver for this host. The problem is that I can’t find a way to configure the two ip addresses for one host, and then I can’t link the trap received to the host if it is the second IP that is used. I don’t know if it’s something handled by Centreon or if it needs some development. Thanks in advance for your feedback
