Infra Monitoring Data usage and Visualization

Hello,Since my last upgrade to 24.10.12, some of my graph’s legends are broken.the metrics are correctly named, but the graphs legend shows “default” instead of metric name.for example : performance data and the graph is : graph legendin parameters > data, metrics name are OK for this service. Any idea how to fix this ?

Bonjour,J’ai une question par rapport à l’Activité métiers (Business Activity). Récemment, on m’a demandé de créer des activités métiers pour mes serveurs, mes applications hébergées. Cependant, je l’ai créé que depuis la semaine dernière. Cependant, les applications et les serveurs existaient depuis pas mal d’année. Par contre, quand je génère un rapport pour mon activité métier, il n’affiche que les valeurs à partir de la création de l’activité métier pour mes serveurs et mes applications. Est-ce normal? Comment je peux faire pour que ce rapport prend toute l’historique de mes serveurs et de mes applications? Ou ce n’est pas du tout possible?Aussi, j’avais déjà quelques activités métiers en place depuis pas mal d’année. Et j’ai modifié les plages d’horaire de rapport de 24x7 en heures ouvrées de 8h à 20h et aussi supprimer quelques indicateurs non utiles à mes rapports. I've been asked to produce a report on the average memory use of our servers.I can get the information I need via a Performance Graph (see below) but, because I've beenasked to do this for several hundred servers, I'm looking for a way to automatethis as much as possible.Is it possible to get average memory use via clapi or SQL queries? Memory use on one server

Hello everyone,Since migration (22.10 to 25.10) Graphs are no longer generated on Administration  >  Platform Status  > Engine Statistics.I’ve checkedpermissions:  /var/lib/centreon/nagios-perf/perfmon-1 : -rw-r--r-- 1 centreon-gorgone centreon-gorgonefiles : .rrd files are present, but don’t move since migration date /usr/sbin/centenginestats -c /etc/centreon-engine/centengine.cfg give stats no error in logsWhere is the problem ?    

Hi,I have centreon 24.10.18 when trying to visualise graphs from the web interface I have a “fail to fetch” error on chromium and “network error when attempting to fetch ressource” in firefox. This is for all hosts data I have tried.I tried the following without success:I looked in centreon logs under /var/log/centreon /var/log/centreon-gorgone /var/log/centreon-broker /var/log/centreon-engineI could not find anything that seems related to the error in the web browser but I might have overllooked something as there is a large amount of logs.I restarted centreon services: cbd centengine centreontrapd gorgoned . Then rebooted the server I cleared browser cache I tried with another userAny suggestions on what I should try next?

Can Graph be configured to display the granularity? For example, the current display interval is every 5 minutes. Can it be changed to 1 minute? Thank you.

Hi,I am looking for an advice on the best approach for the following.We currently have a linux server producing a custom metric for an internal application. This metric is currently simply logged in a file on the server.I was wondering if I could not use centreon for basic monitoring of this metric. T​​​​​o have alerting and easy historic access with a graph.I suppose there is different possibility for that. Maybe transform this metric into a custom snmp information that could be recovered by centreon for exemple. Or via the nrpe plugin. I was wondering what you would recommend to avoid as much customisation as possible and keep it as simple as possible.The real solution is to have observability of the app with something like open telemetry standard but this is too early for now. Regards,

Hello everyone,I’m encountering an issue with the display of CMA data on the “Resource Status” tab. Context 1 — When Centreon was installed, two ACLs were created: “User” and “Admin” (I really mean the ACL, not the “Admin” option you can check on the user profile under the “Authentication” tab). The “User” ACL has limited access, but the “Admin” ACL has all permissions enabled across all ACL tabs. And of course, my admins are in the correct group associated with this ACL. Context 2 — We deployed several CMAs on servers, and they are fully visible in Centreon — everything works fine. My question is the following: Why can users with the “Admin” ACL (with everything checked) not see the CMA resources on the “Resource Status” tab, while a user with the “Admin” option enabled on their profile can see them? How can I allow the “Admin” ACL to access CMA resources? I think I’m missing something, which is why I’m asking for your help now. :) We have a Centreon 24.10 on a Debian 12 up to date. T

Hi,I have a problem when I try to use plugin: network::fortinet::fortigate::restapi::pluginModes system and HA work nicely.But with licences mode I get error:UNKNOWN: Cannot decode response (add --debug option to display returned content)and with health mode I get UNKNOWN: Not an ARRAY reference at /usr/lib/centreon/plugins//centreon_fortinet_fortigate_restapi.pl line 9452. Could it be that Fortigate newer software causes this?

Hi,I’ve been using Centreon for a couple of months now, and I have the latest version (24.10.3) installed on Debian 12.I’m experiencing some strange behavior: every time I open a dashboard, it automatically appears in edit mode.This happens with both my account (full admin) and a standard user account.Is there a setting somewhere that I need to adjust?I’ve searched through the logs but couldn’t find anything relevant.Does anyone have an idea?Thanks in advance!

Hello Centreon Community,I would like to integrate Grafana with Centreon. (or vice-versa :) )I was wondering if there is a guide where i can set up Centreon to fetch data from Grafana (monitoring another system) and display it in the dashboard or graphics.I am monitoring another system in Grafana and i want to display the multiple querys that i already have there. Whether in dashboard or graphics in Centreon. I’m aware that there are 2 plugins in Centreon: Grafana - Which i think the plugin doesn’t fit my purposes. I don’t want to monitor that host, but the data within.And InfluxDB (database that i use in Grafana).I have Centreon with MIB license and Centreon DEV for testing, without MIB license.If there is any documentation or guide that i can follow to set this up, i would be grateful.Thanks in Advance,RicL

HiI would like to have percentages instead of bytes in the output of the PostgreSQL probe in tablespace mode.Is there an option to convert bytes to percentages?

Is it possible to fill the area (colour) between two lines?I have a graph with min, average and max metrics. The average should be drawn as a bold line - that's easy!But I want to have the area coloured between the min and the max.I have not found anything in the documentation.Thanks for any hint.Best regardsHorst
