Infra Monitoring Data usage and Visualization

Hi,Since the last update (version 20.10.4), I’ve been experiencing issues with my VMware setup. The account field in /etc/centreon/centreon_vmware.json is empty, and when I try to resend the login from the Centreon UI in the "Additional Connector Configurations" section, I get the following error:[parameters.vcenters[0].username] The string is empty, but a non-empty string was expected. This issue occurs on all my vCenter hosts. Do you have a solution? When I recreate a vCenter, it works fine.

I've been asked to produce a report on the average memory use of our servers.I can get the information I need via a Performance Graph (see below) but, because I've beenasked to do this for several hundred servers, I'm looking for a way to automatethis as much as possible. Is it possible to get average memory use via clapi or SQL queries? Memory use on one server

FROM now()-query_start)),0) AS seconds                FROM pg_database LEFT JOIN pg_stat_activity pgsa ON pg_database.datname = pgsa.datname AND (pgsa.query_start IS NOT NULL AND (pgsa.state NOT LIKE 'idle%' or pgsa.state IS NULL))                where COALESCE(ROUND(EXTRACT(epoch FROM now()-query_start)),0) > 10 ORDER BY pgsa.query_start, pgsa.pid DESC;  datname  | datid |  datname  |   pid   | leader_pid | usesysid | usename | application_name | client_addr | client_hostname | client_port |         backend_start         |

Hello everyone,Since migration (22.10 to 25.10) Graphs are no longer generated on Administration  >  Platform Status  > Engine Statistics.I’ve checkedpermissions:  /var/lib/centreon/nagios-perf/perfmon-1 : -rw-r--r-- 1 centreon-gorgone centreon-gorgonefiles : .rrd files are present, but don’t move since migration date /usr/sbin/centenginestats -c /etc/centreon-engine/centengine.cfg give stats no error in logsWhere is the problem ?

Hi,I have centreon 24.10.18 when trying to visualise graphs from the web interface I have a “fail to fetch” error on chromium and “network error when attempting to fetch ressource” in firefox. This is for all hosts data I have tried.I tried the following without success:I looked in centreon logs under /var/log/centreon /var/log/centreon-gorgone /var/log/centreon-broker /var/log/centreon-engineI could not find anything that seems related to the error in the web browser but I might have overllooked something as there is a large amount of logs.I restarted centreon services: cbd centengine centreontrapd gorgoned . Then rebooted the server I cleared browser cache I tried with another userAny suggestions on what I should try next?

If we install both Map Legacy and Map Engine, will we see all the maps defined into le Legacy and Engine server ?

Hello,I noticed that in previous versions of Centreon MAP, it was possible to display link status directly on Geographic Views. This functionality is described in the following article:https://www.centreon.com/provide-real-time-it-infrastructure-status-overviews-with-centreon-map-to-your-itom-teams-and-operational-users/However, in the current New Web MAP, I am unable to find this option. It does not seem to be available anymore, or I may be missing the configuration.Could you please confirm whether this feature is still supported in the new MAP interface, and if so, how it can be configured?Thank you for your assistance.Best regards,Moorshid

Can Graph be configured to display the granularity? For example, the current display interval is every 5 minutes. Can it be changed to 1 minute? Thank you.

Hi,I am looking for an advice on the best approach for the following. We currently have a linux server producing a custom metric for an internal application. This metric is currently simply logged in a file on the server.I was wondering if I could not use centreon for basic monitoring of this metric. To have alerting and easy historic access with a graph.I suppose there is different possibility for that. Maybe transform this metric into a custom snmp information that could be recovered by centreon for exemple. Or via the nrpe plugin. I was wondering what you would recommend to avoid as much customisation as possible and keep it as simple as possible. The real solution is to have observability of the app with something like open telemetry standard but this is too early for now. Regards,

Hello everyone,I’m encountering an issue with the display of CMA data on the “Resource Status” tab. Context 1 — When Centreon was installed, two ACLs were created: “User” and “Admin” (I really mean the ACL, not the “Admin” option you can check on the user profile under the “Authentication” tab). The “User” ACL has limited access, but the “Admin” ACL has all permissions enabled across all ACL tabs. And of course, my admins are in the correct group associated with this ACL. Context 2 — We deployed several CMAs on servers, and they are fully visible in Centreon — everything works fine. My question is the following: Why can users with the “Admin” ACL (with everything checked) not see the CMA resources on the “Resource Status” tab, while a user with the “Admin” option enabled on their profile can see them? How can I allow the “Admin” ACL to access CMA resources? I think I’m missing something, which is why I’m asking for your help now. :) We have a Centreon 24.10 on a Debian 12 up to date. T

Hello,I've set up a Windows host without any problems, but I'd like to view only the second disk on the machine. What setting do I need to change, knowing that I want to see disk 1, which is drive letter "e"?  Thanks

Merci.

Hello,I have an issue when exporting a .csv. Every month, I use host groups to export data and generate a report. The link looks like this :https://x.x.x.x/centreon/include/reporting/dashboard/csvExport/csv_HostGroupLogs.php?hostgroup=3&start=1759269600&end=1761951600 It was working last month, today If I select one week, it works, but if I choose one month I get this error in my browser :Il semble y avoir un problème sur ce siteIl est possible que https://x.x.x.x/centreon/include/reporting/dashboard/csvExport/csv_HostGroupLogs.php?hostgroup=3&start=1759269600&end=1761951600 connaisse un problème temporaire ou ait été déplacé. Hi,I have a problem when I try to use plugin: network::fortinet::fortigate::restapi::pluginModes system and HA work nicely. But with licences mode I get error:UNKNOWN: Cannot decode response (add --debug option to display returned content)and with health mode I get UNKNOWN: Not an ARRAY reference at /usr/lib/centreon/plugins//centreon_fortinet_fortigate_restapi.pl line 9452. Could it be that Fortigate newer software causes this?

Hi,I am trying to monitor a website. If I use that plugin plugin apps::protocols::http::plugin to check response then the option --cookies-file=/tmp/lwp_cookies.dat works nicely. But when I use the same --cookies-file=/tmp/lwp_cookies.dat with --mode=expected-content, then I get error:Use of uninitialized value $old[0] in join or string at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/HTTP/Headers.pm line 89.Use of uninitialized value $old[1] in join or string at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/HTTP/Headers.pm line 89.Use of uninitialized value $old[2] in join or string at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/HTTP/Headers.pm line 89.Use of uninitialized value $old[3] in join or string at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/HTTP/Headers.pm line 89.Use of uninitialized value $old[4] in join or string at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/HTTP/Headers.pm line 89.Use of uninitialized value $old[5] in join or string at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/HTTP/Headers.pm line 89.Use of uninitialized value $old[6] in join or string at /usr/

Hi,I’ve been using Centreon for a couple of months now, and I have the latest version (24.10.3) installed on Debian 12.I’m experiencing some strange behavior: every time I open a dashboard, it automatically appears in edit mode. This happens with both my account (full admin) and a standard user account. Is there a setting somewhere that I need to adjust?I’ve searched through the logs but couldn’t find anything relevant.Does anyone have an idea? Thanks in advance!
