Build better products with our product team.
Dear all,We have multiple teams using the same Centreon server. It would be easier for us to exclude what we don’t want than maintain a servicegroup to include what we want (and prone to error). We are looking for a servicegroup exclusion (as you would do with hosts ans services, but it does not exist yet for servicegroup as the support team told us) in the Ressources Status menu.Something like a standard regexp : service_group:^(?!(DBA_servicegroup))What do you think?Thank you for reading.
#1 filter on Resource/Resource groupsPersona: Centreon administratorProblem to solve: Using CRM modeIt is not possible to easily retrieve resource-related data only. Using filter-resource-name, information about the cluster is also retrieved and displayed.cluster perfdata must then be filtered out Default OK status is OK: Cluster is okExpected outcome:Retrieve and display only resource-related information when filtering on a resource name or a resource group name, if needed.Potential solutions:The output of the command executed by the plugin seems to be parsed correctly already. Adding a new option or creating a new mode using crm_mon could be useful. #2 filter on NodesPersona: Centreon administratorProblem to solve: Using CRM modeIt is not possible to retrieve status information for a specific node. Information is summarized for the entire cluster.Expected outcome:Retrieve and display status for a specific node.Potential solutions:The output of the command executed by the plugin seems to be parsed correctly already. Adding new options or creating new modes, for each use case, using crm_mon could be useful. (modes for cluster, node)
I would love to be able to see the status of a notification commands. When we run check commands, their status is historised in the interface and through the resource page, but if you are running some notifications based on some scripts or commands, you have no idea of wether the execution was successful or not. Right now we have a trace of the emission of the alert in the timeline of the resource lateral window and within the event logs, but the status or if that command fails, right now there is no real way to know that.I have been trying to add some logging capabilities to commands like a stdout/stderr redirection with tee to push logs in a specific file, but that isn’t really practical. What do you think of this idea ?
Implement the ability to export map's XML/JSON in version 24.10+, similar to Maps Legacy Destop Client. This could be used for map backups and to import maps into a remote server. It would be great if the Maps Extension had the "Display on Remote Server" feature, like the Business Activities extension from BAM. It would save work for those who have many maps and constantly make changes to add new services/hosts.There's already an API for this; I think it would be simple to implement in the maps-web interface.
Hi,Persona: operators and adminsProblem to solve: HTTP collection does not allow the parsing of response’s headers. This prevents token from being read, authentication token for example.Expected outcome: allow response’s headers parsing.Potential solutions: add an extraoption CURLOPT_HEADER to customize request sent using curl “http-backend”.JSON conf file could be then set like this "rtype":"txt""parse":[{"name":"example","re":"<REGEX PATTERN>","entries":[{...}]}]Best regards.
Hi,as security is central and critical information should be secured as much as possible, it would be nice to get an anonymization option for the logs before to send them to the support.Thank you
We have a large production system and for testing a small pre-production environment. Both look the same except the small label in the upper-right corner, which could be customized.Too often it happens, that we’re doing administrative things and then notice, we’ve been on the wrong platform. The ability to change the look globally would be great, i.e. by changing the background colour of the top- and left-bar (status- and menue-bar)
As stated in the title, Knowledge base only supports the mediawiki model for now.It would be appreciable to support more knowledge platforms. The few i have in mind are either other proprietary platforms likeService NowOther opened platforms likeX-Wiki Or custom wiki platforms likeDocusaurus Microsoft Sharepoint If some more people have platforms or suggestions, please add and i’ll list them
Hi Everyone, It should be a good idea to add the possibility to generate orphelin ressources based on duration (today’s based on number).
