    Hi,Some plugin results have discrete values for which it makes no sens to compute an average (no way a host had 1,725 cron process running any time…) I understand it is due to the aggregation RRD is doing. But averaging, while the default aggregation method used for RRD isn’t the only one that exists. There are also “min” and “max” (and another fourth I don’t remember I think).What about the possibility to use them (“min” obviously in the case of a number of process(es) check) optionally?

    Being able to view the previous configuration from the host/service/hostgroups/servicegroups/category configuration panel.Goals :when you can’t access the ssh console and you are testing various options from the GUI, being able to quickly identify what has been tested When you change the check period / interval / notifications config … being able to quick identify what was the previous values For groups & categories : being able to quickly identify what was in the group and has been removed How ?: Having the last change time displayed and being able using a calendar to go back to a previous config in read only (so that we can display the previous config on one tab and the current one on another tab for comparison)

    Handle metrics instances in graphs legendNeeds Votes

    Hi,Since the new Centreon Plugins metrics system, information about “instances” (or one can call it dimensions) are splitted front-side to only show the metric name in the graph’s legend.That is fine. But we loose key information.Here is a common example with a check on the Poller delays.At first glance, we have the same metric eight times: But if we put the mouse over one metric we’ll see a tooltip showing the exact metric name, with the “instance” part, here “Central”: My proposition is to show that splitted-out part in the legend, for example as a label (i am no front dev!): This will show the information without overing on the legend, but it is also “needed” to benefit from the data sources definitions (you know, the underused ‘Monitoring > Performances > Curves’ page).Because as of know, the curves will not use the templates if doesn’t match exactly the data source (read metric) name, which is totally fine too.Splitting the metric not only front-side but back-side can leverage the use of those templates, which can result to having both templates (legend, color, etc) and instances on graphs.An example here on Broker statistics check, with 3 different metrics for 1 instance with curves templates for each metric: Of course there are several scenarios.Here an example with the same metric on multiple instances :This one is tricky as the curves should not have the same color.There is also the “2 dimensions” metrics case with metrics built like “dimension1~dimension2#metric”.Let the discussion begin!

    Feedback from a large environment experience.What about adding a native feature enabling schedule poller configuration autogeneration ?In large environment we may have several admins authorized to generate configurations and publishing.We may have automated deployement workflows pushing items through centreon API.We may have necessity to generate snmptrap conf and publishing multiple time in a day.Of course this feature has to be secured by a native centreon check giving states of the autogeneration schedules. I’m still doing this with a custom dev, but think this could be a great upgrade to the product. Thx

    Feedback from a large environment experience.What about adding a native centreon check to figure out the states of pollers ascents ?Sometimes pollers may have lags between diffferents locations or because of network failures and such…Could it be possible to have a native check that warn about poller input lags (it means being able to have notification by the way).Having status in the top bar is a first step, but is not a monitoring/observability ideal indicator.We may have underlying problems with pollers and we may need to get long term status about them to deal with monitoring reliability. Thx.

    Hi, I applied an event_handler to create tickets via REST API. It works very well, but I wonder if it is possible to turn all services to Pending, this way, if a service turns critical I can get a ticket.I applied the event handler in every service template I use.PD: I can’t put this ticket to “Question”. If I try this is the problem it shows me “You haven't selected a category”

    Hi,It is now (Web 22.10.15) possible to select only the resources with an OK state, or with a NOK state, but it isn’t possible anymore to do a selection on multiple pages. And it’s not possible to get more than 100 resources on one page.Would be nice to fix this (and not breaking it in the first place would have even been nicer!)I really wonder what is tested prior the release of a new version…

    Persona: Centreon administrator Problem to solve: No visibility of when my hosts/service have been modified for the last time and by who. Expected outcome:  See the last time when my hosts/services have been modified. See who did it Sort by last update. Make it a clickable link to jump to the changelog of one particular host/service. Potential solutions:  Adding a new column in the Configuration menu that will hold this information. Adding a new tab in the form to display the recent changelog?

It is difficult to find the one we can add to the platform (if the majority has already been added). The Customer wants to know, if we can set up another filter, so that it only shows hosts not yet added to the platform.

    BonjourJe suis en 23.04 et actuellement, dans MAP, il n’est pas possible d’afficher la valeur temps réel d’une Activité Métier, mais seulement le nombre de KPI (Supervisions) qui sont KO.Cela est dommage car pour une MAP de type “état des services” pour nos Directeurs / Manager / Utilisateurs cela n’a pas de sens.
