check tcp port from a host to another

Hello community, I try to say if it’s possible to monitor a port from a host to another. I have a AAA server and I need to be sure this server can communicate with server BBB using the port XXXX. Is it possible in Centreon and if yes, how? :-) Laurent

Custom script doesn't work

Hello the community, I try to execute a custom script  but It seems I miss something. I have a poller on an ec2 instance on AWS. I try to execute a probe Python script on a Linux server on another ec2 instance. this server is attached to the poller in AWS.The script is located on server (not on the poller)Locally, the script works fine.But via Centreon, I have “(Execute command failed)” Other non-custom probes are working well. Can you help me to understand? Regards, Laurent

Check as400 ibm i server

Hello,I would try centreon to monitoring AS400 ibm i server but i have many troubleshooting.I can ping my host AS400 with the base_host_alive command.I have IBM AS400 Connector installed.I try to create a CPU service with OS-AS400-CPU command for an host but he have an unknown status with (No output returned from plugin).Someone can help us ?Best Regards

Export to CSV returns internal error page or the page moved completely

Hello,after upgrading RHEL8.7 from Centreon 3.4 to latest 22.10, Im unable to export CSV performance data from graphs. Once I click on the button (see picture below). I get redirected to a page; which indicates the page your tried to access has being iternal error occurered or the web page has moved to the new web page completely  - same thing happens if I export CSV directly from performances page. Oddly exporting timeline and graph pictures works fine.

No more graph data

Hello, I just reinstalled Centreon 21.10 following an strange issue related to a TokenStorage error message at the login windows. (another topic is opened for this) I restored all databases and now everything is working.But i have no more graph data. Here is the logs i have in /var/log/messages Again and again : 0] [cbwd] [error] cbd instance with PID 12010 has stopped, attempt to restart it Centreon tells me “No data available for this period” for every graph Can you help ? Thank you

New host not displayed after reload/reboot pollers

Hello,I’ve just installed Centreon 23.04 from VM TemplateI created an host with basic (OS-Windows-snmp-custom) , then export config poller, but the host are never displayed on the UI.It work only when i reboot the centengine service with CLI.It’s look like centreon user have no permissions to do that.unfortunatly, i don’t find any informations in logs. i check all the installation & prerequisites and i think i do all correctly. not find a lot of information on other topics.Some one can help me please ? EDIT : the poller is default poller on localhost

Test Ping différent entre Host et Service

Bonjour,lorsque j’ajoute un host (réseau, serveur ...), je vois sur le host un test de Ping :/usr/lib64/nagios/plugins/check_icmp-H 10.1.2.3-w 3000.0,80%-c 5000.0,100%-p 1Et dans la liste de services, un autre test de Ping :/usr/lib64/nagios/plugins/check_icmp-H 10.1.2.3-n 4-w 1000,40%-c 4000,80%Les valeurs sont différentes. Autant je sais modifier le service Ping, autant je ne sais pas comment modifier le test de ping sur le host.Voici ma question : peut-on modifier le test de ping sur le host ?Merci,

problem with token registration

Following an aborted attempt to migrate to debian, I restored my initial environment under CentOS7.but despite unregistering the token on the debian platform, the registration of my platform under CentOS is no longer correct.    I checked the similarity of the fingerprint and the "epp.license" filethe command "curl -s 'https://api.imp.centreon.com/v2/license-manager/instance/subscription'"returns "{"message": "Authentication required"}".and in the file "/var/log/centreon/license-manager.log" I find the following message [RestNotFoundException] https://api.imp.centreon.com/v2/license-manager/instance/subscription : {"message", "No subscription found."}the command "rpm -qa | grep centreon-web" returns :centreon-web-22.10.11-1.el7.noarchthe platform recognises a licence end date of 21/12/9999, but the "ADD TOKEN" button is replaced by "Choose Subscription" and so I can no longer view the licence, unregister/reregister the token, or update the plugins.I'm lost

Database updates not active, pollers not running, get stack

Hello community, I am new in centreon so quickly get stack at version upgrade from 20.04 to 21.10My error is: Database updates not active, pollers not running, last update in yellow:Somehow I found as well in the logs that the connection to SQL is failed:2022-05-02 11:49:13|0|0|0|[local] [127.0.0.1] Authentication failed for 'admin' I have a little idea about forcing the connection to sql but the centreon user is “centreon” normally for database.Please help as my research was unsuccessfully. Regards,Eugene

Windows SNMP Disk - How to check all disks except C: ?

Hi everyone, I’m setting up Centreon to monitor different infrastructures and I would like to create 2 different services to check the HDD on Windows servers (using SNMP). The idea would be to adjust the checks intervals and values depending on which HDD we are talking (system HDD or “storage” HDD) I already created a service model checking only C: but I want to create an other service model that will check all HDD except C:.Can anyone help me find the value I should use after DISKNAME ? I was thinking about what could be the translation of “check all hard drives above the letter C” or “check all hard drives except C”. I am pretty new to Centreon and I have no knowledge of this kind of value formulae. Thanks a lot :)

Contacts on host no longer inherited to services

Hello,On my Centreon deployment the inheritance of contacts and contact groups defined in host definitions no longer works on services connected to the host. Now we get messages only when the host goes down or up and no longer receive messages for the services associated with that host.I'm not sure when this problem started appearing. I’ve patched Centreon to the latest 22.10.9 version and the problem persists. A workaround is setting “Inherit only contacts/contacts group from host“ to “yes” but this would require me to set that bit for every service associated with the host and can't be configured in the service template.“Contacts & Contact groups method calculation” is still set to “Vertical Inheritance Only” and changing options does not resolve the issue.Any help would be much appreciated!

How to properly deploy a custom plugin pack

Hi fellow community members,I recently installed a Centreon 23.04 server on a Debian 11 host in order to monitor a specific appliance.I wrote some plugins (in Python) to monitor the appliance metrics, created related commands, service templates and host templates.Then I created a bunch of yaml configuration files (for templates, commands...) with the aim to make a plugin pack of it.So I have specifics python plugins, related yaml files for templates and commands, all packaged in a zip file.Is it the good way to make a plugin pack ? I can’t manage to find a concrete and clear documentation about the subject in the Centreon documentation.If not, am I far from my goal ?Other concern how to deploy this pack on others Centreon instances ? On the extension manager page, I don’t see any upload interface or something like that. Am I missing something ? Thanks in advance.Sebastien

Guys i just installed Centreon for testing on my lab, for whatever reason i was using the incorrect password for the user admin in the web access and now the user is bloqued.Do you have any advise on how to unlock the user, i have access to the centos root without any problems. Thanks
