Problems with showing the variable as I need in a trap

How can I get the string value of a variable in an SNMP trap.Even if the MIB has the 2 values: string and numeric, I can only get the number. There is any kind of command to use to get the translation that it is in the mib file?Thank you in advance.

[centreon/centreon-plugins] database::postgres::plugin - Problème avec la mesure "locks"

BonjourJ’ai un problème avec “locks”, je ne comprends pas comment fonctionne les seuils. Par exemple :--warning='waiting=3,exclusive=10' --critical='waiting=5,exclusive=20'Est-ce que les 2 conditions doivent être réunis pour déclencher un warning ou un critical ? Ou juste une ?J’ai un exemple où j’ai 13 en exclusive locks sans déclenchement du warning : D’ailleurs je ne comprends pas non plus la différence entre les colonnes <dbname>~<type lock>#database.locks.count et <dbname>_<type lock>, quelle différence ?Merci d’avance pour votre aide

Unable to rebuild graphs from MySQL data_bin

Hi,Currently running Centreon 23.10.0My question may sound stupid but i can’t rebuild 6 months graphs from MySQL centreon_storage database with data_bin still containing all datas.Graphs are gone because i had to rebuild server with configuration file restore. Graphs are currently building fine and display fine too but only since reinstall, not data from before reinstall.I tried to rebuild following official documentation with no success. It seems Centreon completly ignore MySQL data.i can provide whatever you need as information.Thanks a lot in advance for any help regarding my issue.

Monitor Idrac power usage

Hello, I want to monitor the power usage of an Idrac.I’m able to do it with snmpwalk but I want to have a graph like on my other services. What can I do ? Currently, the plugin doesn’t exist for my Idrac model. I tried to do it with SNMP Traps but it looks like it needs a licence and I don’t have it. Anyone has an idea ? Thanks and have a nice day !

Do I need a licence to display graphs ?

Bonjour,Je n’arrive plus à afficher des graphs monitoring avec les widgets pour les vues personnalisées alors que d’autres widgets fonctionnent. (voir photo)Et même dans Supervision > Informations de performance > Graphiques je n’ai pas d’affichage.  Au début de l’installation de Centreon il y a quelques mois j’avais l’affichage des graphiques sur n’importe quelle vue, mais du jour au lendemain ils ont disparus et je ne sais pas pourquoi.J’ai essayé des solutions trouvé sur d’autres postes similaire mais je n’ai pas eu de résultats positifs dans mes essais.Je voudrais savoir si quelqu’un à une solution et si c’est lié ou pas au fait que je n’ai pas de licence (ex : IT-100 car nous avons 100+ hôtes en supervision) et que prendre une licence n’est pas une option pour le moment.

Unwanted UNKNOWN service notification when host DOWN

Hello all,We are on Centreon 23.04 wtih some pollers.If the hosts is UP we never receive UNKNOWN notification as desired on our configurations.but,When the hosts is down (soft or hard I don’t know for now), the services send notifications for UNKNOWN stats, this is unwanted by the configurations do on users notifications option and on the services-models. for exemple,the service W are configured by the service-model X for sending notification to groupe of user Y of which Z1 and Z2 are members. The service W is configured like this :    Notification enabled : default    Linked Contact Groups : - ( nothing selected )    Notification options : - ( nothing selected ) The service-model X is configured like this :    Notification enabled : yes    Linked Contact Groups :  groupe of user Y    Notification options : Warning, Critical, Recovery The groupe of user Y includes the user Z1 and user Z2 The user Z1 is configured like this :        Service notification options : CriticalThe user Z2 is

Monitoring cluster state with custom color and no constant warnings

Transform metrics collected by SNMP Plugin (Collection)

Good afternoon,I would like to know if there is any way to convert the data collected by SNMP from bit to Gb.I'm trying to monitor a disk and it gives me the used and total space in bits.With this operation I could do:"%(hrStorageEntry.hrStorageUsed) * 100 / %(hrStorageEntry.hrStorageSize)"but I don't know where to do it so that it is executed and saved in a variable, so that it can be printed later. I have tried the following tutorial: But it doesn't work for me, since the "function" is for count the result. Is there any function that can do what I am saying (multiply or divide the collected metrics inside de JSON structure)? I guess it will have to be executed within the selection_loop, because I need to calculate it for each line returns.Could you give me the list of functions that can be used? I can't find any information either on GitHub, or on TheWatch, or in the documentation about what functions I can use with snmp mode collection or about the json structure.My Json configurati

centreon MBI reporting not working

Dear Thewatch community, I’m facing with an issue related to MBI Reports. There was some configuration errors, and to be honest I’m not really aware of this component.However, I’m pretty sure that the centreon_storage database location should be the same as the one use to collect the KPI.  In my configuration I think the error is that the database definition on the component seems tp be wrong.I tried without success to fix by changing this setting, and of course the new parameter is unable to be applied!the url is centreon/main.php?p=30231 and tab “Reporting widgets” When I set the new setting I’ve a message like if the authentication was expired.“The form has not been submitted since 15 minutes. Please retry to resubmit here”of course, If I retry to submit it does the same, and I’m still being authenticated against the server. I hope my message is enough clear, otherwise please let me know. Best Regards,

No more check on services & Host

Hello,i am using centreon 22.10.12 with almalinux 8.8 , since last tuesday the poller does not check/actualize the services or the host and i cant force check anymore the services, its like the web interface frozen, i can see the host , i can see the services but nothing happens, the number of host & services is OK. i tried those commands :systemctl restart cbd. systemctl restart centengine. systemctl restart centreontrapdBut none of this commands fixed my issue, since about 3 days i cant see the service down, the host down. it shows the same information since this day.Can anyone helps me?Best regards,

Graphs : Ignore value too high

Hello Everyone,  We are monitoring our Cisco 8500L via snmp and the command net-cisco-standard-snmp-traffic-name for the internet connection. It’s almost working fine, except that some time (probably around 3 to 4 time), we have a value way too high registered (around 4Tb :D). The biggest concerns is that it modify the scale of the graph, which is unreadable when one of those value are registered. Is this possible to ignore a value within a graph setting ? Or any “trick” that could do the job on this kind of matter ? Best regards,

No more historic's event

Hello,  Since the update 23.04.6, I no longer have any history on the events of my probes. I have this error message : Symfony\Component\HttpFoundation\Response::__construct(): Argument #2 ($status) must be of type int, string given, called in /usr/share/centreon/src/EventSubscriber/CentreonEventSubscriber.php on line 428 Has anyone encountered this problem before? Regards, Florian

Centreon retention didn't work

Hello,  I set retention time to 20 days, but all of my database are growing fast.  After some researches, i found a cron task which is executed all nights. When i look into the logs, i saw this error :  PHP Warning:  file_put_contents(/var/log/centreon/sql-error.log): Failed to open stream: Permission denied in /usr/share/centreon/www/class/centreonLog.class.php on line 193 I try to execute “sudo -u centreon php /usr/share/centreon/cron/centstorage_purge.php” but i got same error.  Is there anything i can do to solve this bug ? Regards,  Florian

The graphs don't work for one service, while another does

HelloI have a behaviour that I can't identify.For memory/swap probes I have 2 equivalent services (they have the same service model), but one has graphs that work, while the other does not. What I don't understand is that on the CPU and Load probes, the graphs work correctly.The graph model is related to the service model, so they have the same configuration.Do you have any ideas?

Modify the duration of the RRD (graph) without loss of data

Hello all,I want to increase the retention time of RRDs for graphics on services/metrics already deployed.Over 10k services.What is the best solution ?I have tested the Centreon option “regenerated the RRD databases”  but I lost the metrics data history.Is it possible to do this without losing the existing RRD data ?Thanks a lot

Hello,I would try centreon to monitoring AS400 ibm i server but i have many troubleshooting.I can ping my host AS400 with the base_host_alive command.I have IBM AS400 Connector installed.I try to create a CPU service with OS-AS400-CPU command for an host but he have an unknown status with (No output returned from plugin).Someone can help us ?Best Regards

Chart display - no used and total

Hello, I am pretty begginer in this area, but I would try to learn more. It monitors disk occupancy at 99% by giving Critical and Warning limits in percent. Hello,there is a missing dot after number 4 on line 11136 in file centreon_mikrotik_snmp.pl.my $mktFrequenOid = '.1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.1.3.1.4';but it should bemy $mktFrequenOid = '.1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.1.3.1.4.'; And I have one cosmetic question.
