Monitor Cisco Inferface

Hello,I’m using Centreon free with centreon_cisco_standard_snmp. Is there a way I can monitor a specific port that should always be up? For example, once it goes down for whatever reason send an alert.

Hi,after upgrading Cronicle from 20.04.20 to 22.10.7 we are getting: Monitoring > Status Details > Services[Page deprecated] Please use the new page: Resources Statusthis notification on the top. But if we click to the Resources Status link the page has no results found. How can we fix this issue? Thank you and BR

Protection of sensible macro values

Hi,I have a service with the HOSTSNMPEXTRAOPTIONS protected.In the service details I get this : I suspect this is a bug. We should be able to see a part of the executed command.The command (which is a command definition provided in a plugin pack) is defined as :  $CENTREONPLUGINS$/centreon_generic_snmp.pl --plugin=apps::protocols::snmp::plugin --mode=numeric-value --hostname=$HOSTADDRESS$ --snmp-community='$_HOSTSNMPCOMMUNITY$' --snmp-version=$_HOSTSNMPVERSION$ $_HOSTSNMPEXTRAOPTIONS$ --oid='$_SERVICEOID$' --format='$_SERVICEFORMAT$' --warning=$_SERVICEWARNING$ --critical=$_SERVICECRITICAL$ $_SERVICEEXTRAOPTIONS$This is a problem which is present since a lot of time (at least from 18.04). It would be nice to see it fixed.In addition, I think that having macros for the options needed for SNMPv3 would be a good idea. UNKNOWN: Timeout for centreon_mssql.pl

Hi,The services for the mssql plugin are unknown.I've done some research but I can't find the solution mssql plugin is not working :Connexion user sql ok :I have a timeout for all services :/usr/lib/centreon/plugins//centreon_mssql.pl --plugin database::mssql::plugin --hostname 192.168.50.10 --port 1433 --username '***' --password '****'   --mode='connected-users' --warning-connected-user='' --critical-connected-user='' --verboseUNKNOWN: Timeout I have centreon 22.10 on almalinux 8, my host configution is :Are you a solution for me please? Thanks

No synchronization with AD after password change

Hello,our problem is that after changing the password in AD, the synchronization does not work. The only way to make the new password work is to delete and re-import the user. Centreon latest version.

Issue with setting up a poller 22.04

Hi,I’m running a centreon server with 2 remote pollers,each poller is installed on a different Network and we have a FW between them.I was able to configure one of the pollers without any issue but the second one doesn’t come online.I can see the master server is trying to communicate on port 5556 with the poller but its not able to communicate with the poller (I tried to telnet the port without any problem from the master server).I also checked the /etc/centreon-engine and /centreon-broker and they are missing all the needed poller configuration files.I also noticed the poller doesnt listen on port 5669 even when centengine process is running, I also verified it loaded the broker module.It looks like the master server is unable to copy the configuration files to the poller.is there a way to troubleshoot that?

Canceling a downtime when there is other for the same service

centreon 22.10.7unable to cancel a realtime downtime via web application or CLAPI when there is other scheduled for the same service.the command file is generated and processed in centcore pipeline lib directory although the centcore daemon is unable to remove the downtimes with no errors reported

Panneau de service/d'hôte ne s'affiche plus

Bonjour, J’ai un problème d’affichage lorsque je veux voir le statut des ressources, le panneau d’un service ou encore le panneau d’un hôte, pour avoir un aperçu du graphique, rien ne s’affiche et l’erreur “oups, quelque chose s’est mal passé” s’affiche en bas de là page.Centreon version 22.10.6PHP version 8.1.16

Centreon DSM server configuration file (centreon_dsmd.pm)

 Hello,we want to use Centreon DSM on our environment and for now we are testing it, however, for the first time it seems working well until we acknowledged a service to free a slot, the slots has been freed but when we generate another trap, the alert doesn’t show up on the interface, and when we checked the database we found the trap already stored on mod_dsm_cache table which mean the dsm_client did his job. I have to mention that another entry where found on mod_dsm_lock.so after some investigation, I tried to change clean_locks_time and clean_locks_keep_stored option in centreon_dsmd.pm file from 3600 seconds to 5 seconds and it’s working. (actually when I made the change in the configuation file, it didn’t work so I edited the script file directly and it worked). My questions are:1- What is the purpose of these two options  ( clean_locks_time and clean_locks_keep_stored) ? and what are the effects of my changes on the monitoring ?2- How mod_dsm_cache  and mod_dsm_lock works ? Import mib download

Hi,Imports a mib file in 21.04 centreon. Centreon reports success but I cannot find the oid in Configutation-> SNMP Traps. send mail with alerts

How to compile centreon-collect 22.10.0 from source?

Hello everyone,I am currently trying to compile centreon-collect 22.10.0 from source, with no success so far.Could you please provide the information related to the environment you use to compile centreon-collect 22.10.0? What are the Pre-requisites? Do you plan to publish a full documentation about how to install a poller from source? Here I share the list of all actions tried and all the errors encountered (so far): The first approach is to look for the official documentation (https://docs.centreon.com/). However, no information is provided about how to install a poller from source. The only process available explains how to install a poller using packages. Monitor if a windows service is disabled or not

Hi guys, I would know if it is possible o monitor if a windows service is disabled or not. /usr/lib64/nagios/plugins/check_centreon_nrpe -H 10.214.0.16 -p 5666 -t 30 -u -m 8192 -c  check_service I don’t find if it’s possible with this command. I just find if a service is up or not (with delay or not). could you help me? Or give me a link to documentation? Laurent

How to monitor the vrrp Alert coming from Cisco Device.

Hi, Everyone,Hi, we have several cisco devices in our environment and those are configured as vrrp for a redundancy.So that we need to minitor its status change by Centreon.But we do not know of how to implement the setting Centreon to minitor VRRP status change, if there are any status change activities has occurred.By the way, We have implemented Basic mibs set of Cisco router and has implemnted an extended mibs as KEEPALIVED-MIB to Centreon. therefore,we thought of implementation necessary MIBS are stored to Centreon to check the VRRP status from OIDs for VRRP status changes.So my question here is if anyone in this forum could got the way to configure the check command for VRRP status change in Centreon, Please share the configuration for check VRRP.Best Regards,

Poly Studio X monitoring

Hi !I am trying to monitor Poly Studio X50 and X30 devices but it doesn’t seems like there are any plugin pack available for these devices. Furthermore, the one available are for Poly RealPresense RPRM, but the RealPresence solution will not be supported anymore as of June 2023 and will be replaced by Poly Lens.As anyone tried to use Poly Lens with the RealPresence plugin ? Is there a plugin available that would be adapted to my problem ? Thank you !Kuroe

slack integration

I have installed respected plugin pack for this in centreon server  for this location ( /usr/lib64/nagios/plugin) and I have updated the slack hook url and api key and manuall tried with the command its triggered to slack channel and configured in caommds > notfication option slack_host_notify and slack_service_notiy also verified the parameter monitorng alson in same path location and attached the notification contact user but still i am not getting a notification in slack channel

No graph on remote server

Hello, I had a remote server, but i can t see graphs when i am loged to the remote server page, but i can see clearly my graphs when i am loged on the central server IHM. On rrd logs on remote server i had this error: error:   RRD: could not remove file '/var/lib/centreon/status/0.rrd': No such file or directory i have rebuild my graphs , but i can t see them on remote server IHM. Any idea

Database issue : ERROR 1049 (42000): Unknown database 'centreon'

Hello, I have an issue with my Centreon database.SQLSTATE[HY000] [1045] Access denied for user centreon (using password: YES) So I created a user centreon and I have now :ERROR 1049 (42000): Unknown database 'centreon' When I write show databases, I have +--------------------+| Database           |+--------------------+| information_schema || mysql              || performance_schema |+--------------------+3 rows in set (0.000 sec) So I think database is deleted. I don’t know what happened because I don’t change anything. How to solve that without reset my configuration and adding manually hundreds of devices ? I don’t have any access to my web interface due to that Thanks and have a nice day !

Can't get authentication token since upgrade to 22.04

Hello,since we last upgrade from 20.10 to 22.04 we have a couple of perl script that fail. It seems as if the URL for the API changed and the authentication token could no be retreive.This is the request in the script, which worked before the upgrade:my $resauth = $ua->request(POST "https://${hostname}/centreon/api/index.php?action=authenticate", [username => "$username", password => "$password"]); And the error is:malformed JSON string, neither tag, array, object, number, string or atom, at character offset 0 (before "<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLI...") at /opt/clapi/ExportCentreonServices.pl line 75. What can be wrong?Regards,Enrique

Centreon 22.10 - Error with quickly install Centreon (Packages)
