HTTP Data collection: Path depth

Hi!I’m trying to follow the tutorialto implement monitoring of SAP SCC. Two issues:HTTP basic authentication: it’s not clear from the tutorial how to get a plain simple HTTP basic auth. Took me hour to figure out (use the source, Luke!) that you just need to pass ‘basic’ like this: "authorization": {"basic": 1,"username": "%(constants.username)","password": "%(constants.password)"}, I would add it to the original post, but the comments are locked. Can't install VMWARE-daemon because PERL(ZMQ::Constants) is necessary

Hello, I currently facing a problem when I want to install “centreon-plugin-Virtualization-VMWare-daemon” to monitor my ESX. It seems that perl(ZMQ::Constants) is required/necessary to do the installation. I already tried to install perl(ZMQ::Constants) with cpan “cpan ZMQ::Constants” : It looks like ZMQ::Constants is up to date … I checked on internet and it seems like no one got the problem, so I’m really lost at this point. I have installed Centreon on a Oracle 9. I installed packages perl-ZMQ-libZMQ4, perl-VMware-VSphere  Is someone already faced this problem ?  Hope I’ll get answer.  KR,

Centreon Plugins - Discover Collection modesTutorial

The Centreon Plugins team recently introduced a new fashion of scraping monitoring indicators. It’s called Collection.  These modes could be seen as 'dumb' boiler-plates, allowing you to monitor 'things' over various protocols or APIs while abstracting some of their complexity. Collection modes rely on a JSON configuration file describing the data you want to get and the processing or mapping you may wish to apply. This kind of mode is handy if you are in one of the following situations:You can't find an existing plugin to monitor what you want or fulfill your particular need. You need to gather data from a in-house, black box, or third-party application and transform it to be easier to analyze. Writing (or asking for) a dedicated plugin appears overkill because you simply want to monitor values and apply thresholds over them. Currently, Collection modes are available for: SNMP (check the tutorial) SQL (check the tutorial)In other words, you can use these on any device supporting SNMP

HOW TO FILTER

Hi there, I have the next problem:We have the alerts from centreon sent via telegram. The point is that we don’t want that many alerts, we only want those ones we are interested in. So I tried to filter that information, only achieving to filter the performance data (which is not the message telegram sends, telegram send the status information).To sum up, I want to filter the info from STATUS INFORMATION and I don’t know how. I have tried with How to play with Regex - Part II | Community (centreon.com) and part 1 and it has been impossible for me to succeed. I`ve been working with centreon for just a couple days now so I will gladly thank any help. This is what I want to filter

Centreon MAP - More basic shapes ?

Hello,Today in the basic shapes there is only a square, a circle, a triangle and a text box. Is it possible to add other basic shapes in MAP without adding an image?  THANKS

[Export] Export specific part of setting

Hello, Sorry in advance english is not my first language,I’m learning how to use centreon, so totally beginner here :)I’m on the “web” part and have a list of “host” placed in different “hostgroup” mix of server, switch, website...,So I found how to differenciate and export each host by the use of their hostgroup in setting>Export/Import, but the file generated is like that:“HG;addhost;Serveurs_Windows;servername1”“HG;addhost;Serveurs_Windows;servername2”..Here my question, do I have a way to export slightly the same but with their IP like: “HG;addhost;Serveurs_Windows;servername1;IPAddress:10.0.81.49”Thanks in advance for the help Regards

how to monitor the presence/accessibility of three different URLs

Hello,I am new to CENTREON.Could someone help me or explain how to monitor the presence/accessibility of three different URLs of our production environments (e.g., akpdev.mydomain.com, akpdev-test.mydomain.com, akpdev-param.mydomain.com) in a single model/service/host, etc.?I would also like to create the command for this and call it in a model or service in order to easily create alerts for these three environments for each of our clients, of which there are  about 250.I imagine I will need to create macros, command lines, templates, services, and then hosts. However, I'm not really sure how to create them, where to start, and how to make all of these features work together to achieve the desired results. PS: H’ve already ilstalled the plugin pack  “centreon-plugin-Applications-Protocol-Http”Thank you in advance for your answer.Sincerely,

Email notification CC issue - Version 20.10 - using php file template.

Hi Everyone,First time asking question here. We’re using a php template for email notification. and the issue is when if two or more CC recipient were added on host and service URL. We got a double qoutes “” on the cc part of the notification so its not sending to correct receipient. the php file is from https://github.com/mcinquin/centreon-notifications we just modify it. its working on Centreon 2.8.17 but its not working on Centreon 21.10.7. We just separate the emails by a comma on host and service URL.  Hope someone has an idea about my issue.

NetApp Ontap SNMP plugin error

Hello, I am trying to use the Netapp Ontap SNMP plugin by following this https://docs.centreon.com/pp/integrations/plugin-packs/procedures/hardware-storage-netapp-ontap-snmp/ .I am able to ping it but all the other services have an “Execute command failed” error and I can’t figure out where it comes from. I tried to configure a community on my Netapp as well but nothing changed.Thanks in advance for the help.

Greetings, I’m using the plugin “storage::hp::3par::ssh::plugin”, i have a case where i need to set thresholds for “ node1~Node Input 12V#hardware.sensor.voltage.volt” but i didn’t understood the correct syntax… I’m using the option ```--threshold-overload```, supposing i need to set critical threshold for “< 11.30” or “> 12.7”, what would be the syntax? Thanks!

Hi team,For sending events from Centreon to ServiceNow instance, i configured servicenow event manager, using the following document. https://docs.centreon.com/docs/integrations/event-management/sc-service-now-em-events/.But, i was unable to get the events  in servicenow instance and in the central-broker-master.log log file, i am getting the error like: [2024-05-27T23:55:21.285-05:00] [lua] [error] lua: unknown error running function `write'Do you have any suggestions to help me solve the problem and to get the events in servicenow instance?

Bonjour,Je vous contacte, car je rencontre un problème assez bizarre, j’ai configuré un hôte et les services pour interroger un serveur Microsoft SQL (avec le pack de plugin). Les commandes sur le serveur centreon fonctionne correctement elles renvoient bien les bonnes valeurs.par contre sur l’interface web de centreon, j’ai la fameuse erreur :UNKNOWN: Cannot connect: OpenClient message: LAYER = (0) ORIGIN = (0) SEVERITY = (78) NUMBER = (44)Server , databasePourtant si je copie la commande que réalise centreon sur le shell elle fonctionne.j’ai exporté les configurations, redémarrer le serveur rien ne se passe. Auriez vous une idée d’où peut provenir le problème ou comment le corriger ? Je vous remercie par avance,Cordialement,tom

var/lib/mysql growing 5GB per week

Hi at all,the volume var/lib/mysql growing 5GB per week. I gave it more space two weeks ago, from 60GB to120GB. This is the graph in 4 months:  Two weeks ago the volume filled up, this caused the db logs table to be deleted. I recreated the table, but now it’s not partitioned. So, I have two question: Why the var/lib/mysql volume growing so quickly?  Is it a problem if the logs table is not partitioned? I'm waiting for a response, thank you very much!!

Hello Community :I would like to request some information and I thank you in advance for following up on my request,I am supervising a service by OID and I have encountered several cases in this task,1- in Output the value obtained is in MB whereas I would like to display it in TB.2 - using numeric-value I manage to obtain the graphs but you have to put several options to obtain the desired value.3 - using String-value I obtain the desired value but there is no graph for this service and for me it is essential to have a graph for analysis.Conclusion: I would like to be able to convert the Output from MB to To / Obtain a Graph for the service using String-Value

Quel est la longueur max de key_field svp ?J’envoi de la donnée mais trop a priori et le Centreon dit “no row return” ce qui est faux en plus. Décidément la documentation Centreon est bien pauvre versus le prix du produit….Nous ne sommes pas non plus débordé par les réponses sur ce forum ou même par les réponses aux tickets du support officiel…. Quel Galère !!!

Hi team,Events are dropping, while sending events from centreon to servicenow instance, can any once help me, how to set the events in order to solve this issue.
